Ch. 5: Trapped

Now Deva feels crazy. Deva was sure it wasn't a dream.

Deva immediately checked his bag, and found a totem inside. This time he was not surprised anymore, but felt sure all this happened because of this totem.

This totem is from the first event. Then in the repetition of the next event this totem appeared out of nowhere.

Deva decided to leave the house that night to throw the totem into the river. Then with great difficulty trying to sleep.

The next morning he woke up, went to school with a raincoat.

Everything was going normally because Deva was in the morning. There is no Deja vu because previously Deva always entered at the third lesson.

This time Deva intends to finish the exam quickly and exit the class quickly as well. He wanted to avoid any strangeness that might happen.

But when Deva intends to take the stationery from her bag, she again finds the totem she dumped yesterday.

Without thinking long Deva suddenly gave the totem to Genta. Genta who was intending to refuse cancelled his intention after seeing Deva looking at him sharply. Genta thinks refusing is not a good decision. Finally he received the totem and kept it without much comment.

A few minutes after the test started Deva had already finished all the problems. He rushed out of class after collecting his answer sheet, leaving the entire class confused by his unusual behavior.

Deva headed for the stall outside the school gate. Sitting restlessly while staring at his watch, waiting for 10:10, hoping for no more repetition.

But repetition still occurs, exactly at 10:10. Deva wakes up in her room, at the same time as before, at 9 p.m.

This time Deva decided not to go to school. He doesn't care about maths exams.

The day changed. Deva had already made sure the green totem she was trying to keep away from her had appeared back from inside her bag.

At about 10, Deva sat in front of his clock, holding a totem. At exactly 10:10 the position of Deva suddenly changed to being lying staring at the sky sky, indicating he had repeated the same time again.

"Damn! Whyyy!? Why is it like this!? What is really going on!??"

Deva cursed and shouted loudly. Fortunately he was alone in this house, his parents were working abroad. Otherwise, his screams could certainly wake his family up.

Deva once tried to get as far away from home as possible on his bike. But again every 10:10 he will wake up in his room again.

Some crazy ideas he's done. Like delaying the exam by applying the tires of his Matematian Teacher's car so that he can not go to school, locking Genta in the warehouse so that he can not take the exam, even to burn his school at night. But time is repeating itself. Proving that a math test is not the cause of all this.

The most likely cause is a mysterious totem that always appears in every repetition. Deva tries to destroy the totem in various ways. But the Totem is too hard and sturdy, let alone destroy it, scratch it can not.

Repetition has happened dozens of times. Deva still has not found a way to restore the time to run normally.

In a repetition, Deva remembers the stranger who gave this Totem to her. The person only appears on the first event, on the next repetition Deva never meets him again. Deva tries to find the stranger to ask him what really happened.

Deva waited at the stop where they were supposed to meet since nightfall. But the stranger did not come. Until the clock shows at 10:10 and the time is repeated again.

In the next repetition Deva decides to spend his time looking for the stranger. He should not be far from the stop where they met. Moreover, the stranger as he remembers Deva does not use a vehicle, meaning he should be in the area around the stop that can be reached by foot.

Deva was sure the stranger knew something about Totem and the repetition of time he felt at this moment. Moreover, the behavior of the stranger was very strange when giving Totem to Deva.

But Deva's efforts were in vain. A stranger is swallowed by the earth. Deva can't find it anywhere.

After experiencing hundreds of repetitions Deva finally gave up looking for the stranger. He was almost trapped for half a year. He was thinking how would it be if he was stuck forever in this repetition of time? He could go crazy with this repetition.

Now Deva prefers to lock herself in her room. Each repetition is finished with just a fall asleep.

In a repetition Deva begins to think of taking advantage of this repetition. Currently Deva is arguably immortal as long as he is not killed or committed suicide. Deva can do whatever she likes without worrying about the future impact, because time will continue to repeat itself.
