Tomorrow there's a math replay. Today Deva went to bed earlier than usual. He wants to wake up early to learn. Go to bed early and wake up early. This has been the habit from the past if there is a repeat or test. Somehow it feels like the lessons He has learned will more easily disappear if He sleeps. If he studied in the early hours and did not sleep after that, the lesson would have remained fresh until the time of the exam, he thought.
At 8pm, Deva is getting ready for bed. The alarm is set for 3am tomorrow. It rained quite a lot that night. The monotonous sound of the rain was very comfortable in his ears. It seems like tonight he can sleep well. He thought the alarm would not be strong enough to wake him up. But he should not have to worry because he has set a lot of alarms for tomorrow in his phone.
The day changed, the rain stopped. The alarm sounds, but does not last long because Deva immediately turns it off. He immediately stood up with his eyes still not fully open. Deva walks into the kitchen to wash her face while making breakfast to accompany her while studying.
Time passed quickly, Deva felt a miscalculation because the material he learned was not fully understood. He should set the alarm at 2 am, in order to better understand the material to be tested later.
Now Deva is getting ready for school. The weather outside was a little cloudy as he started riding his motorbike towards school. School is a little far from home. At normal speed it takes at least 20 minutes.
In the middle of the journey the rain began to fall down heavily. Deva stayed at the nearest stop. He thought today would not rain because the weather forecast today was quite sunny. He should have known it would rain when he saw the cloudy sky. But because he trusted the weather forecast, he was trapped in the middle of the journey because of the rain.
Upon arriving at the nearest stop Deva was a little surprised. There sat a middle-aged man who did not seem to be Indonesian. He looks like a westerner.
Deva approached the westerner, trying to talk to him. Although his English grades in school are not exactly good, Deva is sure to understand some of the words that the westerner will say. This is a great opportunity to talk to strangers in person. It's not easy to find a stranger at a stop when it's raining like this, is it?
"Good morning, sir. What are you doing here?" Deva started the conversation.
But the stranger only glared at Deva at a glance, before turning his gaze to the end of the road. The expression of the stranger was flat, he looked unwilling to talk. Deva could only smile wryly because she was ignored.
"Well, I'm sorry I didn't bring a raincoat, I shouldn't have listened to the weather forecast." Deva complained while wiping her wet face from the rain.
Deva only muttered softly, but the stranger beside him was like being struck by lightning in the ear. He looked at Deva with a look of disbelief.
Now Deva who was struck by lightning in his ear. Foreigners can speak Indonesian! Not only can, but also eloquently. Deva began to think it seemed like the person next to her was now a mixed-blooded Indonesian, not a native westerner.
"Totem Users?" Deva raised her eyebrows. What is a Totem user? Is it an online game term?
"Haha, it doesn't seem like. And finally! Today has arrived!"
Deva was surprised, now the stranger beside her looked like a madman. He laughed very loudly, making deva keep her distance.
"Hey, Son. Take-take this! This totem has chosen you."
The man gave a bead the size of an index hand. The bead is a bright green precious stone decoration. Flat and oval shape. The decoration is so beautiful and looks expensive. Not something that can be given to strangers for free.
"Sorry, Om. Is this a stone for me? if sold it is expensive, you know. Om sure?"
The man smiled widely while patting Deva on the shoulder.
"This totem is for you. Use it wisely. Do all the missions well."
After saying so the foreign man ran through the heavy rain. He laughed as he said, "Free! I'm free!"
Deva could only look at the man's back until it was far enough away. At this moment Deva felt both happy and frightened. That guy was really weird. But besides that she got a pretty beautiful jewelry from the man. Deva put the 'Totem' in the bag.
