Tiara: Queen of Boulevard

Tiara: Queen of Boulevard
#9 Bad Start

Tiara was silent for a moment in front of the door of room number 111 before opening the doorknob. Here is the room he will occupy the next year according to the notice from the receptionist.

Tiara did not expect much with whom and how she would spend the next year in this room.

Tiara only hoped that the three people who would become her roommates would not trouble her.

Tiara closed her eyes for a moment and performed her ritual. Take a deep breath and then slowly exhale.

TAK...

The door of the room opened by itself making Tiara frown. His feeling said he still held the doorknob and had not opened it yet then how did the door open?

Tiara swiftly opened both of her eyes. A sense of surprise was inevitable but with ease he played an expression on his face.

Tiara stared flatly at the person who opened the door from inside the room.

"Hi.." said Tiara flatly as she raised her hand.

"Ha. hi." Lia replied nervously and then followed up with a choking sound. He gushed out the food he was eating from his mouth as a result Tiara was hit by a spray.

'Ups.. Bad start.' Lia.

Lia as soon as possible cleaned the food that looked like green beans from Tiara's clothes. He was afraid because of his negligence he damaged the expensive Tiara shirt.

'Open Lia policy ****. Why should you eat green bean sandwich anyway?' Lia cursed herself. 'What if he asks for damages? The price of the clothes must be very expensive.' Lia swallowed the saliva that was sore in her throat just by thinking about it.

"Ma. sorry, sa. I'm not senga.ja."

Tiara clasped Lia's hand trying to stop her behavior from continuing to pat Tiara's chest.

Lia looked at Tiara's cold eyes. Now his saliva dries on its own as if he hasn't drunk water for a few days.

'Die me.. She must be really angry.'

"I'm sorry. I can't pay for laundry. Instead let me wash your clothes." Lia tried to speak as formally as possible because she did not know Tiara well.

If he reimburses the cost of laundry, his allowance that is only mediocre is unlikely to be able to cover his living expenses for the next few months.

Inner Lia was tormented thinking about how the condition of her mother who was alone working hard to finance their lives so far.

Looking at Tiara who kept staring at her without saying anything, the girl named Long Amelia Amora did not want to bother herself thinking about what Tiara was thinking.

"Don't worry about your clothes getting damaged, my mom works as a washerman in the village. She washes the clothes of rich people and I would usually help her, uh..." Lia paused for a moment. He let out a long sigh, puzzled over how to explain it to Tiara.

To say the truth that he was the son of a washerman was a suicide bomb for him. People would insult her and her mother if they knew the truth.

Even though Boulevar High School accepts students without distinguishing their social status, it is still very sensitive.

There will always be a law of nature where the rich will demean the poor or the big ones will demean the little ones. That was what Lia had always remembered so well from long ago until now.

She was not ashamed of her mother's work. He just did not want the students who had more social status above him would demean his mother and also his mother's work.

Lia believes it's not just herself trying to keep their social status a secret here, but most Boulevar students do.

Whether it's because they don't want to be denigrated, or because they want to live with a high profile, or they want to be accepted among the upper class, or maybe also because they're ashamed of their parents' work, that there must be no may not.

But the situation is different now. Lia really could do nothing but tell the truth.

"No need." Answer Tiara briefly.

"Ehh.."

"No need to reimburse laundry or wash it with your own hands." Tiara tried to re-describe the meaning of her words before.

Lia did not react at all. He still did not believe his own hearing. Is it true that he does not need to reimburse the cost of laundry?

"Now can you step aside because I want to enter." Tiara said to Lia who was staring blankly at him.

"Iy. yes please. You can just come in. Please." Lia was nervous and a little misbehaved. However, he still felt bad for Tiara.

Tiara stepped in and looked for the bed that had her name on.
