#79 Proof of Record
Everyone looked despicablely at Cassan who looked messy after getting slaps on both cheeks.
None of them were there to stop Lia's anger at Cassan. "Why are you doing all this? What's your reason?" Lia asked Cassan.
"....." Cassan was silent and did not answer the question that was thrown at him but tears continued to wash his cheeks. He also did not dare to look at Lia's face, or just glanced at the people around him because he was embarrassed. What else on Luka the guy she likes.
"I didn't think I could ignore my best friend's warning, even slapping him in front of everyone just for believing in a cunning fox like you." Said Lia while pointing at Cassan's chest with her index finger.
Hearing Lia refer to Cassan as a cunning fox, the disciples who were there tagged Cassan with the same word. Including students who had defended him before because of allegations without evidence from Alda.
Now they've changed their mindset about Cassan after knowing all the bad things he's done. And not one of them is seen defending him even though they themselves realize what the power of the Casan family is.
"Haha you're not horrified, Cassan is said to be a cunning fox." A student whispered to his friend.
"Suit the hell I think hehe." Answer the friend.
"That's nasty. I didn't know anyone was like him. It turns out she's just muna doang." Others commented.
"Sneaky fox like he's dying in annihilation alone."
Cassan bowed in shame to hear the disciples gossiping about him . It felt like he wanted to disappear from the face of this earth if there was indeed a way for him to do that.
Cassan prayed in his heart hoping someone would come and help him. Whoever it is and whatever way, he wants to escape the shame that has already shackled all his arrogance.
Cassan's prayer was finally realized after Varno's voice was heard amid the tensions. "Here you go, stop this." He said firmly and then walked over to Lia and Cassan.
All the students paved the way for Varno to pass through. "Who are you to judge each other here? Have you forgotten who we are?" Varno made it clear his position and the members of OSIS in front of all students to appreciate their existence.
Hearing the words of Varno, Alda wanted to stop him because according to Alda the meaning of the words Varno was addressed to Lia. Varno looks like defending Cassan compared to Lia, the victim of Cassan's own crime. But Tiara stopped him immediately.
Tiara asked Alda to hold back a bit of his anger and let Varno do what he wanted. Given what Varno said could not yet be categorized as defending Cassan.
Casan lifted his face and looked at the handsome man who was now standing with him and Lia in the middle of the crowd. His facial expression seemed to say, how could he forget about the existence of Varno?
Cassan slowly started to smile. His prayer had already been heard by the Gods because he thought Varno had come to defend and help him in spite of the shame caused by Lia's anger. Cassan believes that everything is inseparable from Varno who likes him.
"Are you Lia?" Varno asked with a flat face expression.
Lia frowned before answering her "Yes sister"
"Do you have any proof, Cassan left you in the woods?" Ask Varno again. Ignoring Cassan and just staring at Lia. "If you have evidence, where is the evidence?"
Cassan who heard Varno kept throwing questions at Lia, making him even more convinced that the arrival of Varno was certainly to defend himself, the girl he liked.
For a moment Lia fell silent. He began to think for a moment then glanced at Tiara to ask what steps she should take. Seeing Lia who was silent, the students began to wonder why she did not answer Varno's question.
"Why is Lia silent? Does he have no evidence?" A new opinion among the students.
"Don't say anything. Lia being quiet doesn't mean she doesn't have proof." Answer someone defending Lia.
"Where is the evidence then?" Ask that guy.
The one who defended Lia did not answer him and simply threw away his face. Although he was not sure if Lia had any evidence or not but he was sure of Tiara who would definitely help his best friend.
"Will you act fairly if the evidence is there?" Tiara cuts to defend Lia her best friend.
Everyone looked towards the arrival of Tiara's beautiful voice. Tiara advanced to the center and stood by Lia's side with both of her hands folded perfectly on her stomach. The sharp gaze of her eyeballs made her look like a queen who was ready to judge anyone who was at fault.
"If you act fairly, I'll give you proof. But before that, please tell everyone here what the punishment is if someone is found guilty." Tiara.
Everyone was astonished to hear Tiara's words no exception Cassan. Cassan did not think that Tiara would ask her to be punished for what she had done. While on the one hand Varno actually smiled at Tiara's request and then satin with passion. 'Truly as expected of a genius Boulevar.'
Varno understood why Tiara asked him to tell everyone about the punishment Cassan would be given. And of course Varno also knew that Tiara had evidence for Cassan's actions.
When the evidence was later revealed, there was no other way for Varno to help Cassan. Wh why? Yes, because everyone already knows the punishment Cassan came out of his own mouth.
However, Tiara was mistaken for Varno. Varno certainly knew he had to act justly because the truth was coming not to defend or help Cassan.
"Of course I'll stick to my principle of acting justly based on evidence." Varno's reply gave Tiara confidence.
Hearing that Cassan's face shrank at once. 'What does it mean to stick to principles and act justly?' His little mind asked. 'Didn't Varno come to defend me? Doesn't he like me? Or did he say that because he knew Tiara had no proof?'
Cassan pulled the edge of Varno's shirt with trembling fingers, hoping Varno would stare at him so he could ascertain whether Varno was on his side or not. Unfortunately Varno ignored Cassan.
"Then tell me what the punishment is?" Tiara asked again.
Varno was silent for a moment making everyone become alarmed. "I will report all his actions to the school so that he is processed based on the regulations in force on Boulevar High,..." Varno.
"Agreed." Tiara answered immediately cutting off Varno's words.
Everyone wondered with curiosity, what the rules of the school were if someone was proven to make a mistake like Cassan did.
"Hey you know what the punishment is from school?" Ask a student.
"Don't know. That much school regulation is indeed who wants to memorize."
Tiara immediately agreed to Varno's words because he knew what kind of punishment the school would give to Cassan. Cassan will be expelled from Boulevar High School and made sure not to be accepted at any school in the country.
Boulevar High School is the god of schools. If Boulevar had expelled a student for a criminal act, it is certain that any other school in the whole country would not have accepted the student.
This is the end of Cassan's life. If Cassan continues to want to continue his life then he must move abroad and attend school there. But if not, Cassan must be willing to accept his unfortunate fate.
Tiara opened her phone and heard a voice recording between Lia and Cassan that she got from the tracking device in her hat worn by Lia.
The conversation started from Cassan who invited Lia to accompany him to urinate. After that the sound of their footsteps also sounded quite clear when walking. The person who heard the recording could confirm that Cassan was taking Lia away quite far from their original location.
Next the conversation moves where Cassan asks Lia to wait for him somewhere and after a few minutes Lia is seen shouting Cassan's name but Cassan does not answer him at all.
"Geez, is it true that Cassan left Lia alone? It's bad to be a person." One commented.
"It's unexpected." Keep up with others and many other comments that continue to come insulting Cassan.
"lik! It's all a lie!" Shouted Cassan loudly. "They faked the tape and my voice, too."
"What lies here. It's clearly your voice." Alda confronts Cassan with emotion even though he himself is shocked from where Tiara got the tape.
"No, that's not true. That's not my voice. You guys want to set me up on purpose, right?" Cassan continues to argue. All of these conversations are true and the voice that is heard is also his voice. But Cassan had no idea how it could be recorded. And the only person who did that was definitely Lia herself.
Cassan turned her eyes to Lia and to her surprise, Lia looked like she had no idea where the recording had come from.
