#18 Approaching the Perfect Number
AWKWARD
The door of the left side hall was wide open. All pairs of eyes in the room were fixed on a student who stood panting there, not least the teachers and principals and their representatives.
Stacy was forced to stop her narration shortly after the sound of the door reached her ears.
"Hah hah hah sorry I'm late." He gasped for breath while rearranging his irregular breathing.
The student looked into the room and how shocked and embarrassed she found so many pairs of eyes on her.
And how shameful the teachers were staring dislike at him. His attitude was considered quite disrespectful for opening such a door.
The silence lasted for a few seconds before Stacy finally said "Please come in and take an empty seat."
With her sweet smile and beautiful voice alone all the gazes instantly turned towards her.
Stacy did not let go of her gaze on the student until she walked in and took a vacant seat near Lia.
Because Stacy's gaze was fixed on the student, all pairs of eyes also stared in the same direction as him.
The student was a little nervous. How not because of the delay everyone so look at it.
He smiled at Lia shortly after he settled himself there.
Lia returned her smile and refocused on Stacy.
"All right, we continue. Now I will give the opportunity to the father of the headmaster of Boulevar High School to deliver a few words of welcome to the new student."
Stacy narrated and retreated a few steps from the pulpit to make way for the principal to climb the pulpit.
The headmaster smiled broadly at Stacy. He knows who Stacy is. Stacy is a proud student of Boulevar.

"Good morning everyone." The headmaster saluted at the beginning of his speech.

Doris Efendi shouted loudly while stretching out her hands which were then greeted by the applause of the disciples.
"First introduce my name to Doris Efendi, principal of Boulevar High School. I thank you for trying so hard to set foot in this beloved school and blah blah blah.."
The welcome from the headmaster also ended just like that from the vice headmaster.
Stacy walked towards the pulpit and started her narrative again after the vice principal got down from there.
"Now is the end of this celebration. I invite the headmaster of Boulevar High School back to make an announcement."
Stacy came down from the pulpit with a piece of paper in her hand. He did not know at all about the announcement of what will be conveyed by the principal even all members of OSIS did not have an idea.
"For a decade I served as principal of Boulevar High School, I only got one person with a near-perfect entry test score of 95."
Doris' words then made all the disciples shocked in disbelief.
"95? Crazy is a genius what is it."
The students started whispering to each other. Some say the student must be a genius, some say he must have hired a genius to do the test and some are eager to know who the owner of the value is near perfect.
Stacy smiled hearing the principal reveal his worth in front of the new students. He did not expect that such an important announcement was about him.
The pair of eyes of Stacy wearing the ash-coloured softlens continued to look for someone amidst the large number of disciples.
It seems like someone is very important to him. Stacy wanted to see the expression on her face when the headmaster announced her name. Unfortunately, he has not found it either.
"It's a vow that people must be real geniuses, right?" Lia asked Tiara and Alda.
Alda nodded his head approving of Lia's words. According to Alda, himself was a smart student because he often got the first champion in his school.
But when compared to him, all students who enroll in BHS are students from various parts of the country so it is not wrong if many are smarter than him.
But to be able to reach such a high value, in the history of Boulevar no one has been able to do it.
"This man must be a genius." Alda muttered.
"I'm sure there'll be someone more genius than him on Boulevard." The student beside Lia made a sound inviting the three companions and several other students stared at her.
