"Please someone trust me. The tape was just their trap just because they didn't like me." Shouted Cassan in his tears.
"You all know who my family is? I am Cassan Putriani Baskara, the son of the heir to the Baskara Group, the richest family in the city of J. Therefore they envy me and want to trap me." Cassan continued to cry bitterly to get sympathy. He hoped that by carrying the name Baskara people would fear and believe him.
Cassan's words were immediately struck by Tiara with an unusual laugh. 'What kind of joke is this?' Cute inner tiara. He had never seen such a joke in his entire life.
Everyone looked at Tiara full of question marks including Cassan who immediately stopped his crying when he saw Tiara laughing at him. Somehow Cassan felt like he was not considered by Tiara every time he mentioned his surname.
"Haha Cassan, Cassan. Did you forget what I said before?" Tiara asked him. He then walked up to Cassan and whispered, "I told you, I could destroy the Baskara Group if I wanted to." Tiara reminded Cassan.
"You want to know how long it took me to destroy the company?" Tiara asked Cassan again. "Only overnight. JUST LAST NIGHT! So think about it all right." Tiara warns Cassan again not to invite storms in the summer.
"But if you don't believe my words, go ahead. Do whatever you want. Take your revenge, hurt my friends even if you still dare to do it." Tiara.
"Don't ever think that I'm just playing around with my words. Baskara Group will not be heard again in the future."
The cold whisper of Tiara pierced deeply into Cassan's mind making his entire body tremble in fear.
Tiara didn't just warn Cassan. Whatever he said to Cassan he would do if Cassan still continued to disturb the peace of his life and the other two friends.
Tiara was only based on her personality. He would not use his family's big name, Alexander, to fulfill his purpose in life. Thus Tiara promised that he would use his own abilities to destroy Cassan.
Everyone was curious to hear what Tiara whispered to Cassan to the point that it frightened Casan as if he had just seen a ghost in the morning.
"Where's Cassan? You still want to dodge if the sound heard on this tape isn't yours?" Tiara asked Cassan to try to take everyone's eyes back on the evidence in his hands.
Cassan did not answer Tiara's question at all. His mind was still focused on thinking of Tiara's warning to him. 'Is it true that he can destroy Baskara Group just overnight?' Cassan asked. 'What exactly is Tiara?'
Cassan regained consciousness from his short daydream. He wants to call Leo, ask him to find out about Tiara's background. If he had already obtained information regarding Tiara then it was very easy for him to hold the Tiara tail and reverse the situation.
But before achieving all that, Cassan thinks he should be able to release himself first from Tiara's current grasp. He tried to think hard to find his own way because Varno was completely useless to him.
After thinking for a while, Cassan finally decided that there was only one way left. The only way to do that is to sacrifice yourself.
"Cassan are you willing to admit it or not if the voice in this recording is your voice?" Tiara asked again.
Cassan finally gave up and answered Tiara's question without crocodile tears again. "Yes it was my voice and I was also the one who left Lia alone in the forest."
Everyone was shocked to hear Cassan's confession except Alda and Lia. They did not expect Cassan to finally admit the mistake he made. But they also did not think that the confession was merely a way for Cassan to rid himself of the shackles of the Tiara.
Cassan had to admit his mistake. But when he gets information about the Tiara, he rearranges his strategy and takes revenge on the Tiara.
"I did it because I hate Alda." Cassan's words unashamedly made Alda glare in disbelief at him. According to Cassan, Alda is very annoying because he always blocks his plans. "But the main reason for all this is their friendship."
Hearing that, Tiara and everyone else were astonished by Cassan's honesty. Although there have been many such cases, but on average, most of these cases are just limited to making misunderstandings among friends. Not like Cassan who threatened someone's safety.
"I was late to the dormitory because I was on vacation with my grandfather in Singapore. And when I arrived at the dorm, I finally found out that they were my roommates. I was happy but at the same time surprised because they had familiarized themselves with each other like people who had long known without involving myself." Cassan.
"When I wanted to join them by approaching them and treating them with food, Alda accused me of having bad intentions towards them. And yesterday was the end of my patience."
Cassan's confession got a lot of attention from everyone. They seem to hear the story well and carefully. Some begin to feel sympathy but others feel silly.
On the other hand Alda looks emotional and is about to stop Cassan's speech. But before he did that, Tiara had already held him back.
"Alda tried to embarrass myself in front of everyone but to no avail. And the next night he accused myself again that my entrance test score to Boulevar was the result of me paying someone else to do it because my family had the money to do it."
This time all the disciples were looking at Alda with strange gazes. For those who sympathize with Cassan's story, it is distrustful that Alda had so viciously accused Cassan.
Alda himself was no longer able to hold back his emotions. It is true that he had said this to Cassan but it was not a accusation. He just questions the truth.
"While as everyone knows, when doing online tests, our laptop camera certainly must be on all the time. Then how can he prove that my test was done by someone else?" Cassan.
Everyone nodded in agreement with Cassan's words. They themselves experienced the same thing. It is very difficult to ask or just pay high IQ people to do their tests with surveillance through cameras that are so tight.
As with the others, Tiara was also surprised to hear Cassan's confession. He had no idea where Cassan had gotten such courage from. But Tiara was not stupid to understand a little trick from Cassan. He knew exactly what Cassan wanted behind all his confessions.
Cassan did not want to fall into the abyss alone. He wanted Alda to come with him. Therefore, the first thing Cassan must do is to lead the opinion of the people there to think that all his actions were done not without cause. Alda was the one who forced him to do that because he always accused and questioned Cassan's good intentions.
Furthermore, after making sure everyone had returned to trust him, Cassan just plucked the fruit from what he had planted. Even though he gets bad judgment from people, he is not alone because Alda comes along with him.
"Basic fox chick. I cannot accuse you that from the beginning your intentions were good. You envy our friendship because you are a mental illness, like the same people. You crazy fox bitch." Alda was hysterically shouting at Cassan.
Alda had wanted to run towards Cassan and tear his rotten mouth but Tiara had once again quickly restrained him and handed him to Reno, Luka and Saka.
"Jeez, this is a girl with a lot of power like a horse." Saka commented on the action of Alda who thrashed want to escape the grip of the three handsome guys.
"Ren, I didn't think I turned out to like girls whose powers are like horses." Saka continued commenting on Reno standards.
"Silent lo playboy." Reno answered trying hard to resist Alda's strength.
"Everything is silent." Varno made a sound to stop all the commotion. "As I have said before, I will act fairly according to the evidence. Now the evidence is there and Cassan has admitted his guilt. I will report this incident to the school on our return to H."
Varno's remarks ended all the drama of the day. The disciples disbanded back to their respective tents and waited for breakfast to be prepared.
"Tiara, now also answer my question. Where did you get the evidence on the tape?" Alda asked representing all the curiosity of the other four people.
Tiara stopped her steps and looked at them in turn. "Are you guys that intent?" Ask.
Alda, Lia and the three other guys nodded their heads compactly. How could they not be curious if Tiara always just gave them a surprise.
Tiara let out a long sigh with a heavy heart. He must answer their curiosity. Otherwise he will continue to be haunted by the five of them in turn.
"alright. So the evidence of the tape is fake." Answer Tiara.
"WHATAAAAA!?" They shouted in unison at Tiara's reply.
"Ba. how can the tape be fake. Obviously that was the voice of me and Cassan." Lia commented. He did not believe the words of Tiara.
Alda and the others nodded in agreement with Lia's comment. They also heard the sound of the two so similar that it was impossible for the recording to be fake.
"Of course it's the voice of you and Cassan but it's all a mere resemblance." Answer Tiara again.
"meaning?" Ask them again.
"Have you heard of voice phishing?" Ask Tiara.
Five of them answered yes and some said no. Tiara eventually explained to them that voice phishing was a criminal act in the form of phone fraud.
Usually the perpetrator will lure his victims to provide the information they want depending on what type of fraud they do. Most of what happens is information about finances, passwords and credit cards.
Not only that. Voice phishing perpetrators are also usually people who can imitate many kinds of voices from the people closest to the victims. "You can imagine it not if they tricked the victim using the voice of the victim's close relatives?" Tiara asked again and got a nod from them.
"I have an acquaintance who can imitate a person's voice very well." Tiara. "A moment before we go looking for Lia I have a chance to talk to Cassan, right? Actually I was recording Cassan's voice. And after meeting Lia I also recorded Lia's story and sent it to my friend to have her imitate their voice. That way we have proof of the tape."
