Tiara: Queen of Boulevard
#13 You're Beautiful I Like You

"You want to be my friend for fear that I'll tell people that you're a washer boy?"

Lia was surprised to hear Tiara's words. It was true that he was afraid that people would know who he was but after all he never thought Tiara would tell everyone.

'Why didn't I ever think he could be on you guys? Then why do I feel like I have to believe him?' Lia thought for a moment.

"You don't have to worry. I won't tell people who you are because I'm not that type of person. You can hold my word." Tiara said and left.

Tiara thought Lia would not follow her anymore because what she said was on target.

Lia must have been afraid that Tiara would divulge her secret if she was the son of a washerman. Therefore in order for her secret to be awake and to keep an eye on Tiara, Lia kept following her and requested that they befriend.

"I believe." Lia's loud voice stopped Tiara's footsteps. But what surprised Tiara even more was Lia's next words.

Lia walked over to Tiara who was standing a few meters in front of her. I don't know why his emotions are overflowing. His eyes began to red and teary like a person who was enduring the pain in his heart.

Tiara was surprised by the expression on her face. Lia who was now no longer Lia who had choked when she met him, was no longer Lia who kept staring at him, no longer, it was no longer Lia who followed him to the bathroom and took a bath again even though she had already taken a bath before.

Lia who was in front of him right now was the fragile Lia.

'Am I being too rude to him or am I offending him?' Inner Tiara is guilty.

"I believe. I trust you won't tell people who I am. I don't know why I can trust you, but I HAVE TO BELIEVE YOU."

Lia's tears were flowing. Only this time he was so emotional just because of a feeling in him that he had never felt before.

"I hid my identity because if those people knew they'd insult me by carrying around my mother's work." Further again.

"I don't want my mom to be insulted or humiliated just because of her job. What's wrong with being a washerman? What's wrong with living poor?"

Lia's memories revolved back to reminiscing about her bitter times. Humiliated by schoolmates during Junior High because of her mother's job, denigrated by the rich because of their poverty. It was quite painful for him.

Lia's crying voice broke. It vented all of its pain as if this world was completely unfair to people like him.

Then a warm hug stopped her crying. Yes, Tiara hugged him warmly as if she understood what Lia was feeling.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to offend you." Tiara shed tears. Somehow she felt so guilty for making Lia cry.

Although Tiara often acts cold outside, she still has a warm side that she always shows to her family. That made him unable to hear Lia's wounds.

"No, I'm the one who should apologize. I've been holding all my wounds for a long time." Lia let go of her embrace. "Then the emotion was not held back so I vented it all on you. I'm sorry." Further again.

Tiara smiled broadly. This time he heard someone's story. Although not in its entirety but he felt happy because someone trusted him and told him about his injuries.

Lia was surprised to see Tiara smiling for the first time. Her smile was very beautiful at once made Lia's heart pound uncharacteristically. It froze.

"All right, I accept you as my friend and we're victorious." Tiara.

Tiara did not know whether her decision to make Lia her friend was right or not. But he had to open up first if he wanted to have friends.

'Let's say I'm hiding my identity too, so there's no harm in trying to have friends again.' Think Tiara.

"Hey.hallo.." Tiara tried to restore Lia's consciousness. He was confused as to why Lia was staring blankly at him without blinking.

"Wow.beautiful." Lia's back on her feet.

"What's so pretty?" Tiara asked confusedly.

"You're beautiful. Kya. I like you. Tell me what your name is." Lia shrieked hugging Tiara.

Tiara's face reddened at Lia's words and the first time she felt ashamed of being praised.

"North." The answer.

"I'm Amelia Amora. Just call Lia." Said Lia happily he finally had a friend.

Tiara and Lia were unaware that someone was watching them from the door.

The two people who were now friends were shocked to see Alda standing like a living statue staring at them.
