Thorny Love
*Chapter 33

"Zein, wait!"

"What else is Ris?" asked Zein in annoyance.

"Where are you going?"

"Yes to Zia's place. Want to take her advice together," Zein said with a smile.

"Can't!"

"Lho, why can't I."

"The guy's not in the place."

"Nothing?" asked Zein curiously.

"Yes." Yeah." Riska answered briefly.

"Know where you know Zia doesn't exist."

"Yes I see. I accidentally saw him leave. Same guys. Don't know where." In the end, Riska said also her initial intention of coming to Zein's place.

"Boy together?" ask Zein again.

"Yes." Yeah."

"Zein, I suggest you, stay away from Zia. You don't know who he is, do you? The background doesn't know either, Zein. Mump is still the beginning."

Instead of answering what Riska said, Zein smiled sweetly at Riska. A smile that Riska can't guess why.

"Did you smile, Zein? I am serious about what I say. I care about Zein. Because I am sa .... " Riska hung up her sentence. He could no longer connect those words.

"Mak-mak contract. Yes, not much thought anymore. I know what I'm thinking. I know you care about me. But, you don't have to worry. Because of this lo friend, you know best what he's doing" Zein said as he held Riska's shoulder.

Riska could say nothing but take a deep breath. Zein is not easy to influence. He won't be easy to listen to if there's no evidence.

Meanwhile, Zia had just arrived in front of her house. The fence of the house opens when you see Restu's familiar car in the eyes of the gate guard.

"Good morning to Zia. Good morning, my friend, my friend, my bestu." The security guard greeted Zia and Restu as the car stopped in front of the gate.

"For Mercy sir" said Zia with a smile.

"Morning," said Restu.

Restu runs the car back once the gate is fully open. Then he parked the car in the yard.

When Ziana got out of the car, Rama was waiting for her at the door. With Laila staring intently at Zia who was walking closer and closer towards them.

"Zi, as we have agreed, I will leave this house, today. This is the spare key to this house. I hand it back to you" said Rama, handing over the keys to the house to Zia. Zia received the key.

"Thank you, you've returned what shouldn't be yours" Zia said as she looked at Laila.

"What did Zia's words mean just now?" tanya Laila felt nudged by the words Zia said.

"Nothing means anything."

"wait. Why are you even asking what I mean? Didn't I not talk to you? Anyway, don't call me mad. First of all, I'm not your mom. The second, I think, is the age of me and you, your age is like that."

"You!"

Quickly, Rama prevents what Laila wants to do. He held Laila's hand tightly.

"Laila, I'm asking you, please don't make a fuss here again. Moreover, it is still too early in the morning. It's not good if anyone's looking."

"What! I didn't hear wrong what you said, Rama? The one who started the commotion was not me. But this first wife of yours. Didn't you just hear?" laila asked with anger that had peaked as well as frustration that she could not bear anymore.

"La, we better go now. Because I have to get to the office after I've taken you home."

"For you Zia, we will meet in court one more week" Rama said as he pulled Laila's hand towards the car.

Arriving at the car, Laila forced to release her hand which Rama held. He looked at Rama with a very upset feeling.

"Mas, I'm disappointed in you. You are so mean to me. I didn't think of you, instead of your first wife. I know, this must be because I miscarried, right? That's why you have such a heart for me" said Laila with a very sad face.

"Laila's enough! Don't talk about it again and again. I don't want you to reveal that wound again. And, I'm not in Ziana's business either. I just don't want you guys to fight. Because I have a deal with Ziana."

"covenant? What agreement is mas?"

"A deal I can't tell you. You don't have to ask what the agreement is, because it's a work agreement. Anyway, in a minute, Zia and I are getting a divorce. So you don't have to worry about our messy household anymore."

"What did I really hear? You're going to divorce your first wife?" tanya Laila suddenly felt happy.

"Yes." Yeah."

"It's good that way." Laila said with a happy smile.

Rama looked at Laila with an annoyed look. Laila was happy for the suffering she felt. At least, that was how Rama felt when he saw the happy smile Laila showed him.

"Why do you look at me like that, Mas Rama? It's only natural that I'm happy."

"As far as you are. Now, get in the car! It's getting higher, I gotta get to the office."

Laila obeyed what Rama said. But before he got into the car, he looked at Ziana first. He also looked around Ziana's house. His heart still felt unwilling to leave this luxurious mansion.

'Ziana, I'm leaving this house first. But don't be happy because of my departure. I'm not leaving does not mean I'm losing. But, I just gave up on winning later. You'll see later. Just wait for the retribution I will make for this expulsion of you, Laila said inwardly as she stared intently at Zia.

"California. Why are you even hanging out there?" rama asked when he saw Laila who was still silent while looking at the house towards the house.

"Eh yes. Sorry, mas," said Laila as she moved to the car door.

They also left the house. Zia stared at Rama's car which was getting away from her house.

'May this be the best path for all of us, ' Zia said in her heart.

"Mother." Restu called Zia to wake Zia from her daydream.

"Yes Res. What's up?"

"Zia's decision this time is the best decision. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be presumptuous with the words I said. But, I don't want Zia to feel sorry for what she chose."

"Mbak has no regrets about Res. Mbak is even proud of himself, who was able to choose this decision. What I regret is, why not from yesterday just to make this decision."

"It's never too late to do something right."

"Yes, you're right, Restu. No word too late."

"Yes, we're leaving now. We should head to the office now," Zia said as she looked at the watch in her hand.

"Yes mbak. Comeing!

They left that house.
