Thorny Love

Thorny Love
*Chapter 31

"Laila, how are you doing now?" rama asked as he entered the room after returning from the garden.

"I'm .. I'm pretty good, mas. Yes, even though this head still hurts. But, it's been light. Oh yeah, where are you from, mom?"

"I am from .. from the outside."

"You from the outside, Mom? Outer where?" tanya Laila's full of probes.

"I'm from the office. Oh yes, there's something I want to talk to you about."

"You talk? What's the talk, mas?" laila asked in a panic. In his heart he was afraid that Rama would talk about their household. Laila was afraid, Zia had managed to poison Rama's mind with her words.

"Tomorrow, we'll be leaving this house soon."

"What! We're moving house tomorrow, are we?" ask Laila in shock.

"Yes." Yeah." Rama answered briefly.

"Where are we going to move Rama?"

"We moved into your old house. We'll stay in the old house you used to live in for a while."

"What! The small old house was Rama. Are you sure we want to live there? In the meantime how long is it?" Laila rained down on Rama with many questions.

"Until I get a new home worth living in."

"You promised you'd buy a new house, yeah, as soon as possible. Promise also if you buy a new house on my behalf, so that I can stay calm in our new house later," said Laila said in a spoiled tone.

"Yes." Yeah." Rama answered briefly because he was lazy to talk to Laila. Especially if Laila behaved like this, instead, Rama even felt amused.

"Mas, you're doing it. I don't like what I said. Don't buy a house on my behalf. I don't want to either." Laila turned cranky while changing the position of her bed.

"La, don't sulk that way. Please do not add to the problem. Now, I'm having a lot of trouble. I hope you understand."

"I understand mas. Totally understand. I also don't expect to be present and be a problem for you. Here, I'm very hurt, I lost what I love so much about Rama," said Laila feigned sadness. He hopes, by bringing up what has happened, will make Rama's guilt reappear.

"Laila, already. Please don't reveal that wound again. I know you're still very sad. It's not all your fault. I promise to buy a new house soon, on your behalf. I will also buy a house that is as big as this house. You take it easy" said Rama to persuade Laila.

Laila smiled knotfully in her blanket. He was happy because it turned out he managed to make Rama feel guilty again. Rama promised to buy him an equally large house. That was enough for Laila to let go of the house. Yes even though in fact, he was not willing to let go of a house as beautiful as this. But, he couldn't stay here either. Because this is Zia's house, and Zia had a hard time expelling them from this house.

"You promise me," said Laila, opening a blanket that covered her entire body.

"Yes, I promise."

"Thank you very much Rama. I don't want to stay here much longer either. I don't feel good about Zia. As you said yesterday, this house is in his name. It's only natural that he kicked us out of this house. Yeah even if what he did was actually a big mistake."

"Yes, it's obviously wrong, mas. You and him are husband and wife. Although this house was in his name, and bought with his money. He has no right to expel you, ma'am. Because you're the head of the family here."

"Here you go, I don't want to talk about that anymore. What Zia did was actually very reasonable. It's still good he didn't get us both into the law. If some women, maybe we will not be able to enjoy the fresh air again due to the retribution he gave because the sin we committed is very big on him."

Laila fell silent. He was very upset by Rama's words. Indirectly, Rama had already blatantly defended Zia before him.

'Chew, how brazen is Rama. In front of me he dared to defend his first wife. How's it behind me? Perhaps, I would never have been considered to exist if not for this guilt. Just wait and see what I can do. I will make you bow to me with that guilt, Laila said in her heart.

There is no warmth in this house. At dinner, no one goes out to dinner together. Like family in general. Rama was busy tidying up all the things he was going to take with him. So is Laila. He also took care of the things he wanted to carry.

Meanwhile, Zia was silent in her apartment. He decided to return to the apartment after talking to Rama. He was not prepared to stay one house with Laila nor Rama.

When Zia was still pensive while thinking about the love story and her household that ran aground. He was shocked by the sound of a knock on the door of his apartment. The knocking made Zia have to get up from her seat.

Lazily, Zia lowered her legs and stepped towards the door. The knock grew stronger, forcing Ziana to make a sound to calm down someone who was out there.

"Yes, wait a moment," Ziana said in a lazy tone.

Ziana opened the door. When the door opened, a man was smiling sweetly at her. Beside the man, stood a woman with a sharp look at Ziana.

"Hi, good night Ziana. Sorry to interrupt," said the man still with a sweet smile on his lips.

"Zeein?" ziana asked as if she could not believe what her eyes were seeing.

"Yes, i. Why see it? I'm a big nuisance, aren't I?" asked Zein with a guilty face.

"Oh, ngg-no. Not bother at all."

"Are you sure you're not interrupting your break?"

"No. Come on, come on in!"

"Thank you very much. But it looks like next time. I'm just here to make sure, if it turns out, you're really my neighbor or not."

"You mean?" zia asked still did not understand what Zein was saying.

"Yes, from now on, I will also be living in this apartment. And, my apartment turned out to be your neighbor. That," Zein said as he pointed his index finger at the door not far from them.

"Oh, so you live here too? Same .... "

Zia did not continue her words, she only saw the woman next to Zein who had not spoken a word. The woman just fell silent while looking at Zia with a sharp look as if something was wrong with Zia.
