After saying that, Zia left Laila. He walked to get into the house. Meanwhile, Laila clasped her hands very tightly. He was really hurt by what Zia had just done.
"Wait!" Laila shouted in a high voice to hold back Zia's steps.
Zia's steps stopped. He stood straight right in the middle of the entrance. Zia took a breath to hold back the annoyance as well as the emotions so that she would not spill on Laila.
"What else is it?" zia asked as she turned her body.
"I'll call Rama. I'll tell Rama what you've done to me" Laila said as she pulled out her phone.
"Oh, please. Just call who you want to contact. Do I care? It seems .. no," Zia said with a mocking smile, then continued her footsteps entering the house.
Laila did what she wanted to do. He contacted Rama quickly. Meanwhile, Rama who was in a hurry, just entered the meeting room door. His steps stopped when he heard the sound of his phone.
Rama picked up the phone that was in his pants pocket. He looked at the phone, then picked up a call from Laila.
"Hello mas's. You can go home now, right? Help me mas, I'm so scared" said Laila while in a frightened tone and pretending to cry.
"Why are you, La? What was? Tell me what happened!" rama said in panic.
"Mas, Zia came and got angry with me. He's raging at home right now. He doesn't want me to live in this house. He said it's his house, not mine."
"What's? Zia came home angry?" rama asked in disbelief.
"Yes, Mas. Zia's mom is angry at me. He kicked me out of Rama. You better go home now. If not, I'm really leaving this house because I don't want Zia to hurt me anymore."
"But Laila, right now I may not be able to go home. Because there's an important meeting I have to attend. This is all I'm a dozen minutes late," said Rama was all wrong.
"But, which one is more important to me than your meeting? You want your first wife to hurt me again. Have you forgotten your promise. You know, I don't accept your offer to stay in this house. Instead of me hurting your first wife again, mending me disappear for good" said Laila trying to threaten Rama.
Hearing the threat, Rama's guilt re-emerged. He didn't want Zia to do things he didn't want anymore. He did not want Zia to repeat the same mistake. Inevitably, Rama was forced to follow what Laila said. Go home and leave the important meeting.
"All right, I'm going home now."
"I'm waiting for you at home, ma'am. Hurry home or Zia will hurt me again" Laila said before she closed her call.
Rama's new assistant comes out of the meeting room stopping Rama's steps. Rama looked back to see Santi who was at the door. Santi looked at Rama with a sharp look as well as a panicked face.
"Where is Rama going? Don't we have an important meeting with the client? We were waiting for you eleven minutes ago. Our clients from out of town are also inside. They have been asking for the presence of Mr. Rama since."
"Maa-sorry, I can't attend this meeting. I leave everything to you. I ask you, you take care of everything. Because I have a very urgent business, which I cannot leave behind" said Rama as he left Santi.
"By-but sir."
Rama did not listen to what Santi said. He kept walking quickly to the car. What was in his heart at this moment was, the fear of the quarrels of his wives in the house.
He was afraid that Zia would catch her eye again. He did not want Zia to act rashly by harming Laila just because of the heartache that was in his heart. Because really, the pain that was in Ziana's heart, it was not purely Laila's fault, but also her fault.
Santi who was left by Rama tried to face the clients in the meeting room. But unfortunately, Santi's efforts were not successful at all. The clients were angry at him.
"Sir Rama what the hell? We waited a long time, but canceled the meeting. He thinks we have nothing else to do."
"Yes, you're right. I regret coming to this office. My biggest mistake came to this office."
"I'm sorry too. I will cancel my contract with this company."
"Fathers of all, I ask you please do not cancel the contract of cooperation with the company. Mr. Rama has very important business. Otherwise, he would definitely be present in this meeting room," Santi said trying to defend Rama.
"Sorry, Santi, we can't work with people who don't respect us. Santi did not think about how much time I spent coming to this office, just for meetings with clients like Mr. Rama. It sucks."
Santi can't do much. He had no more words to defend Rama. Because the treatment of Rama not only upset the clients, but also made upset and disappointed in his heart.
Santi could only stare at the clients moving from their respective places. One by one they walked out of the meeting door, until Santi was alone in the room.
"Oh my God, why can Mr Rama behave like this? This is tantamount to ushering this company to the doorstep of bankruptcy" Santi told himself.
He sat down while holding his head. Santi no longer knows what to do. He was confused by his boss's treatment.
