Thorny Love

Thorny Love
*Bab 2

"Where are we going, ma'am?" the taxi driver asked Ziana from a daydream about all the life she had been through with her husband Rama.

Zia wiped away the tears that fell on her cheek before answering the taxi driver's question. He was trying to gather his consciousness that was almost lost due to the pain that was attacking his heart at this moment.

"We're going down the pineapple road now, sir!"

"Good, mbak."

Zia canceled her intention to return home. He decided to go back to his apartment now. The surprise plan that he prepared for Rama, he canceled just like that.

Zia would also not accuse Rama directly even though he already knew what Rama had done behind him. He will make Rama confess for himself what Rama has done. Zia wanted Rama to feel guilty, as well as regret all his deeds that had betrayed the sacred promise of their marriage.

This is not because he is weak and submits to Rama in the name of love. But he wanted to give a very impregnable deterrent effect for Rama. Let Rama understand what he really is.

The taxi he was riding stopped right in front of the apartment. Incidentally, the apartment was located in front of the pineapple road. This apartment is the apartment of the Ziana family. Back then, when he was in school, he lived here. The reason is because he wants to be an independent child. Hence, he broke away when he was a teenager.

"Thank you, sir," Ziana said as she opened the car door.

After taking out the things he brought. Zia walked towards her apartment. Just now he wanted to open the door of the apartment, his cell phone rang, indicating that there was an incoming call that he had to answer.

Zia pulled the phone out of her bag. There was the name of my husband who was calling. Zia stared at the phone screen. The pain was too great, so he could not afford to talk to Rama for now.

After the first call did not get an answer, Rama made a second call. He tried to contact Zia up to a few times. But Zia still did not lift it.

Feeling unable to answer. Rama immediately sent a short message to Ziana.

*Honey, where are you? Busy again now? Later, if you are not busy, call me. L waited. I love you, baby.*

Such was the content of the short message that Rama sent to Zia. He behaved as sweetly as possible so Zia felt even more ill when the short message came. I don't know what is in Zia's mind at this time, he suddenly chose to contact Rama.

"Hello dear," said Rama across the street.

"Ha-hello, mom. What are you again?" zia asked as she endured the pain she had in her heart.

"I'm just sitting around, baby. If you were, baby?"

"Either." Zia answered briefly.

"Darling, you're okay, right?" Rama asked in an anxious tone. You see, Zia had never spoken in such a short and short tone.

"I'm, okay." Zia bit her lips so that the sobs of crying could not be heard by Rama.

"Mas, where were you going? Why didn't you answer my call?"

"Oh, that, I'm going to my mom's house, baby. My mom is not feeling well. So I took my mom to the hospital. I forgot to bring my phone. Sorry yes."

'Did you say you went to your mother's house? Heh, that's right, Rama. So, all this time, this is how you lied to me, mas?' ask Zia in my heart. Now, his heart just got broken.

"Dear." Rama called Zia because after that answer, he did not listen to Ziana's voice anymore.

"Darling, you're okay, aren't you? What the hell is it, honey? Don't make me worry, dong?"

"Yes already. Do not forget to eat and also do not forget to rest, yes dear. One more thing, don't forget, you're here. I miss being so much with you. Hurry home yes," said Rama spoke in as sweet a tone as possible. As if, he is indeed the best husband who misses his wife very much.

"Yes." Yeah." Zia answered briefly, then turned off her phone connection.

"Darling, you forgot .... "

"Well, you forgot the kiss, baby," Rama said as he looked at his phone screen.

Rama felt that there was something strange about Ziana today. As long as he recognized Zia, his wife Zia had never been like this. Despite Zia's success, he never ignored Rama. He always had the time and the way to make Rama happy.

Meanwhile, Zia was crying in the corner of her apartment. Hugging both knees, Ziana channeled all the sadness through the rushing tears.

"You are evil, Rama. You are so evil!" ziana said while hugging tightly onto her knees.

For nearly thirty minutes, Zia kept silent, hiding her face on her knees. A call came in, making Zia aware of what she was doing.

Ziana lazily got up, then picked up her phone which she threw on the bed earlier. There is the name Restu, secretary and right hand who Zia strongly believes. He's the right hand Zia can rely on all along. The task that Zia gave him, he could always finish well.

Ziana raised the call quickly. There was the voice of a man on the other side.

"Hello, ma'am Zia. Where is mom now?" ask Restu across there.

"I .... "

"Mbak, what's wrong? Zia ma'am why?" tanya Restu was worried.

"I'm fine, Kok Restu." Zia took a deep breath.

"Can you come here? To my apartment on Pineapple Street. I'm in the apartment now."

"Well-well, madam. I'll be there now."

Despite being curious about what had happened to Ziana, Restu chose not to repeat his question to Zia. After the phone connection was cut off, he rushed out of his house to the address that Zia had said.

Meanwhile, Rama was still sitting confused thinking about what had just happened. Zia's change just now, made her heart feel uneasy. He felt that something was wrong with Zia at this moment. Zia seemed to be hiding something from him.

In that confusion, Sinta came. Sinta is Rama's mother. When he saw his son did not welcome his arrival, he felt astonished. He approached Rama who was sitting on the sofa of the family room.

"Ram." Sinta called Rama while touching his shoulder.

"Eh, mama. When's mama coming?" rama asked somewhat surprised by the presence of the mother.

"New aja. Mama called you, but you didn't show up either. Fortunately there is a Imah bik who opens the door, if not, maybe mama can guarantee you outside," said Sinta while sitting next to Rama.

"Sorry, Ma. I didn't hear."

"Well, you didn't hear Ram, your man daydreaming here. Where might listen to mama's call."
