chapter 22's

So it looks like everyone went south with Joseph and John this time. They went by sea because there was an entire fleet of Morgan families going south to do their trade and it would be much safer with the group. Plus it will save time and reduce tolls by sea. The only problem was the pirates that Noble funded but were safer with the fleet this time around. Therefore they were all busy in preparation for their trip the next day. This time Melanie's grandmother doesn't nag when she hopes Eva and John get closer while John also learns at a very alarming pace so he wants to take a break in teaching her because he thinks John will learn everything in a short time. Because there is no time everyone is in a hurry to make preparations for the trip. Sally always joined them when she didn't I didn't want to miss, while Josephine had no doubts about the matter. This makes Sally very sure that something is going on because Josephine and Eva seem proactive at the moment, but she can't figure it out but knows that it has something to do with John. However, he was more interested in the food served at John's house this time so he didn't care much about other things and thus began to make preparations for the trip.

The next day Jay, Eva, and his team and everyone else went to the eastern port. John also took most of his money because he was going to make a big deal this time.

They left with Joseph because he had prepared the carriage for the trip this time. They reached the Eastern sea city within a day after they traveled from the Northern border Town. John automatically becomes the chef for the group this time.

After they reached the port they saw the various fleets of various nobles this time around. Yet only the Morgan family has recently traveled with a large fleet here in the North due to their Soap business with John.

This time the Fleet was led by Captain Eric who served in the Morgan family for a long time. That's so he can protect the merchant fleet and Joseph.

Captain Eric is a tall middle-aged man with sharp features, white skin color, and brown hair. He had a bit of chocolate probably because of all the sailing he did at sea. He looked like any other Navy man from the middle ages but he had a jovial nature unlike most strict men from the army or navy. This is because he believes in having fun and not being serious all the time. So he was like a handsome navy man with a jolly nature. The woman had a good impression of Eric after meeting him.

The fleet was with 5 ships with 1 main large ship and 4 medium-sized ships. The fleet was fitted with the Morgan family flag. Soap was loaded on the Main ship while other materials for trade were loaded on the other remaining ships. The fleet had a total of 110 people with 30 people on board the Main and 20 people on board the other ships. These men were sailors and hunters because they perfectly met the criteria for Navy combat. Knights were not favored in the Sea where mobility was important as they would be considered more of a burden.

The fleet also has 2 magicians as support to heal men in times of danger.

Captain Eric was having a drink and having fun with his friends on the ship because there was nothing to do and all the preparations were already made and they were just waiting for Joseph to come back for the last two days. Joseph is fond of Eric for his jovial personality, unlike the strict men from his family who only put importance above everything else.

After being told by the guards that Joseph had arrived with someone else. Eric stops the chatter and starts giving orders to his men to prepare for the trip. He then came to invite Joseph to the ship.

“Joseph, you have finally arrived. I'm bored for two days waiting for you. Well, we're still ready to go, so will you rest first or should we leave soon?”

“Well, I think it's better to leave early in the morning now because the sun and sea are clear,” said John and Jay.

“We have no problem with early departure. I think it's better if we leave now, what do you think captain?” Eva said to Joseph and asked Eric for his opinion.

“Well, it is true that now is the right time to go,” Eric said of his opinion to everyone.

“Because everyone agrees. I shouldn't be a party hater and ruin everyone's fun. Eric, we're leaving after all the preparations are done. Prepare the people and load the ship,” Joseph gave the order to Eric.

Joseph then introduced everyone to Eric after the Fleet sailed. During these days on board Eric is caught trying to steal women's clothes but they don't think about it and it is only later discovered from Joseph that Eric is a pervert. Joseph sighed as he said the harsh truth regretfully. However, this does not change the fact that Eric was the person Joseph trusted the most.

After watching all of Eric's chaos, the appearance of all the women changed from handsome men to obscenities with looks of burning scorn from their eyes.

The sailors on the ship all laughed as they had long known how the views of the women would change after staying together for a few days because they had seen this scene a few times.

“People don't understand me,” Eric sighed as he left. Before he left he glared at Joseph, it seemed like his eyes were saying the words ‘Traitor’ to him.

People became accustomed to the atmosphere on the ship. John also teaches the Chef the ship some of his recipes because he has been very tired lately from all the cooking. During this 3 day trip, they suffered an attack from the pirates only once but after witnessing a large fleet of pirates only tried to investigate and left after they witnessed the firepower of John's team from the main ship. They thought the Armada was well armed this time around and they would most likely lose if they did not have enough firepower to defeat and occupy the ships.
