The supervisor vaguely did not answer all the rules when Antonio asked for them. He made sure that if things went differently he would use magic scrolls just to be on the safe side. John also noticed the rules were unclear but did not mention them as he felt it was more suited to him with his magic.

It was simply stated that it would be a knight duel with their swords. Many in the crowd understood what was going on between Antonio and the supervisor.

Once the Duel begins, John does not move instantly but waits for his opponent to make a move so he can gauge and understand his movements better only for him to be careful and strike appropriately later on.

Seeing that John did not move, he thought that his opponent might be cold or he might approach this duel very carefully. Having no choice, he first attacked John with his shield and sword with medium strength only to see how he reacted to his movements. For that reason John dodged his attack to the right with minimal movement and attacked Antonio from his side with his sword that reacted instinctively and raised the Shield to protect his ribs. After this attack, Antonio instantly understood that his opponent had extremely high reflexes. From his attack, he measured that even with the armor he would break almost all of his bones from the ribs and he would fight to win the duel later. After the first attack, Antonio firmly set the distance between him and John.

Many of the crowd were amazed by this especially those with sharp eyes and the same was true for Joseph watching from the outside.

This time John moves in as soon as Antonio moves back in. John intends to finish this duel as soon as possible. He is a man who does not like to bother much. As soon as he approached Antonio he saw a cruel glint in Antonio's eyes.

He was skeptical but he was still advancing forward. Antonio then begins to use his full strength and meets him for the first sword clash between the two. Immediately after the sword collided, there was the rumbling sound of Sparks between them and Antonio who retreated a few steps after this single power battle.

After this power contest, Antonio understood very well that John was a fighter strong enough and even stronger than himself that if he had to win against him then it would be in terms of technique, speed or magic scroll. John is faster than himself.

John didn't give her space for time and adjusted. John began to use a better version of Flower's swordsmanship. When Antonio was cornered, he, at this last moment he could not bear the humiliation of being in a passive position at this stage and hence he used the magic scroll of the Earth spear and used his full strength to attack John. This attack was filled with killing intent. Seeing that something was amiss after witnessing Antonio's actions, John moves to the left and barely escapes from the earth spear, then comes a barrage of attacks from Antonio. Seeing that his attack on the earth spear had failed, he was quite angry. This time John showed no doubt as he attacked him in his chest. His attack was filled with fire energy and so contacting Antonio's armor it still couldn't help him and his internal organs were injured. After the attack, Antonio landed outside the Arena and fell unconscious. This attack was not enough to kill Antonio, but it was still enough to cripple him for at least the next 2 months.

Seeing this, his bodyguards and his servants hurriedly went to Antonio and witnessed that he was just unconscious and had a wound on his chest.

Even Butler of Antonio looked angry at John and said to him after approaching him “Boy you have definitely offended Young Master after viciously injuring him. There was no need for such a ruthless attack. There will be consequences of this injury.”

The butler's name is James. His family had always served the Mendez family for a long time in his grandfather's day and hence from that position. He was an old man in his fifties with gray hair and a normal body.

John completely ignored him and said, “Weapons don't have eyes when bumping into people, Old Man. The same thing could happen to me if I didn't I wasn't careful with that cunning Earth spear in the end. “

Be thankful that you are the son of a living baron, John thought in his mind to Antonio. This was the first time John had seen aristocratic atrocities directly after coming to this world. He was very confident that if he was not careful he would at least be crippling.

After the duel, Eva and Josephine heaved a sigh of relief as if a stone was lifted from their hearts.
