When Eva got home,
Melanie asked Eva in a seductive tone, “It looks like you even learned from John now. Hah, I wish I had a filial grandson and learned pharmacy from me, I guess love wins all.”
“Well, it's okay because I keep hoping you and John come together. ”
” Grandma is not like that, I only train with John so I can improve my magic and combat abilities. You just think too much. “Eva was a little nervous and said to Melanie in an irritated and calm tone. Even Eva is only beginning to realize her own feelings for John now that she is irritated about John's training with Josephine.
“Huhuhu .. I understand the most about young people. You don't have to hide from Grandma, you know,” Grandma Melanie said as she nodded her head as if she knew all before she came back to prepare the table for dinner.
Eva did not bother to continue and changed the topic of whether she would attend the banquet tomorrow. Melanie thought about it and said that she was busy experimenting with her medicinal plants and wanted to observe as many changes as possible and write them down for reference later on.
Meanwhile, John helps the servants to prepare for the banquet at the mansion.
The next day at the dinner was very nice,
Most of the people from the village arrived including Sam, his family, and the Ten leaders because they wanted to thank John for his earlier help in farming.
John invites Ron, George, and Paul as well. John thinks he should invite George as well because he has helped him in making the Soap machine and this will foster good feelings. George already knew about Antonio's problem but he still thought the business relationship was more important and he had no problem with John so he decided to accept the invitation and arrive at the Mansion.
Finally Jack and Joseph arrive together while Eva and Jay's team arrive early. The factory workers arrived as well.
Most of the people who arrived here were amazed by the Mansion because they had never seen such a large house with such furniture. The same thing happened to Jack and Joseph.
John already knew about Melanie not coming so he didn't wait and hosted the guests.
All the guests were amazed by the delicious food provided by the servants in the Mansion. Especially for the newly created Ice-cream that takes the show. An ice house was made in the Mansion using saltpeter that he brought for powder.
During the Banquet, even George and Sam's wives asked about the recipes of various items provided in the mansion.
“John, you have a lot of new dishes here that I haven't eaten before,” Jay asked in a very happy tone.
“Yeah, this time I want to surprise everyone so I decided to get the waiters to learn a new dish and prepare a banquet this time. I hope you all like the food provided.” John answered everyone's questions.
He even let the servants give some recipes to everyone while he kept some recipes so that it remained a specialty of his mansion.
The banquet ended successfully and John thanked everyone for attending the banquet and starting important talks with the people.
He also handed blueprints to George and Ron for the machine on Guns and the paper.
“So, have preparations been made for the trip and have you got any news about the Baron from your family?” John asked Joseph seriously.
“Well, they're done and it looks like we thought Baron was just stalling for time because he wanted more money for the northern border town. So during the Journey, we can meet him and conclude our business with him after the terms are agreed between the two of you. “Joseph said to John seriously.
While they are talking Eva's team and Jay also hears that John went to the South with Joseph.
“Hey, Hey, you're going south and you didn't even tell us. Don't you consider us a team?” Eva asked John angrily after he heard their conversation.
“Yeah, I actually wanted to buy slaves for my factory operation so I wanted to go south with Joseph because he knows the market better. I'll tell you today. Do you want to join me? Plus win you guys bored? ” John replied because it was not important.
After a while,
“We didn't have anything important today plus it will affect our training if you leave so I guess we will join you” Eva is still angry but she thought about it and agreed to John's proposal.
“OK we will leave tomorrow with Joseph via east” port
Then John asks Jay to join him because he wants Jay's opinion of the hunter and archer he is going to buy. Jay thought for a moment to agree to it because the pay was good and he was eager to travel because he was tired of the monotonous Hunting life.
Jack does not join them because he has other jobs so they will meet when John will return from the south via train in Dolores to negotiate with Baron Mendez. Jack wants to prepare as much as possible for this winter disaster as the northern border town is his territory within his family and he doesn't want to lose it.
So it looks like everyone went south with Joseph and John this time. They went by sea because there was an entire fleet of Morgan families going south to do their trade and it would be much safer with the group. Plus it will save time and reduce tolls by sea. The only problem was the pirates that Noble funded but were safer with the fleet this time around. Therefore they were all busy in preparation for their trip the next day. This time Melanie's grandmother doesn't nag when she hopes Eva and John get closer while John also learns at a very alarming pace so he wants to take a break in teaching her because he thinks John will learn everything in a short time. Because there is no time everyone is in a hurry to make preparations for the trip. Sally always joined them when she didn't I didn't want to miss, while Josephine had no doubts about the matter. This makes Sally very sure that something is going on because Josephine and Eva seem proactive at the moment, but she can't figure it out but knows that it has something to do with John. However, he was more interested in the food served at John's house this time so he didn't care much about other things and thus began to make preparations for the trip.
