Edmund looked at Jova, the woman he loved was in sight, but could not be reached because Morgan was there.
Jova was adjusting her breath, looking at the threatening Morgan, before then looking at Edmund.
“One command, I only give one command, then he will not survive,” whispered Morgan while tightly gripping Jova's arm.
Jova's eyeballs are already glazed over Morgan's threat, wanting to fight back but that's unlikely because of Edmund's life stakes.
Marcel continued to notice, as Jova unintentionally turned to him, she gestured for Jova to follow Morgan for the safety of Jova and Edmund.
Morgan pulled Jova's arm slowly. Although with a heavy heart, Jova finally joined Morgan, he had looked to Edmund, but what power he could not follow the man.
Edmund wants to get close, but Morgan's men get in the way and threaten the man.
“If you fight or chase, not only your life, his life will also be threatened.”
Edmund flutters in his place, only to see Jova forced into a car.
“I have followed your words, you will keep your promise, ‘kan? You won't do anything to him, ‘kan?” Jova was very worried about Edmund. He looked back and saw Edmund who was still standing looking at the car he was riding in.
“Originally you don't act stupid, then he will be fine,” Morgan said without looking at Jova, even her voice sounded intimidating, her facial expression was so cold with such a sharp look.
Jova looked at Morgan, knowing that the man was angry to see Edmund in the city. He eventually relented, for Edmund's safety. Jova doesn't want anyone to get hurt because of her.
The car Jova and Morgan boarded eventually left the park area, while Sean and Ella boarded Marcel's car.
After the car Morgan was riding away from the park. Morgan is seen dialing someone's number and starts talking when the call is connected.
“Make sure he leaves this city and doesn't come back. If he messes around, just kill his life!” So easy Morgan wants to take people's lives.
Jova was so shocked that she tried to snatch the phone Morgan was holding because she wanted to prevent what the man ordered to his men.
“Do not mess! Don't you remember my threats?” Morgan stared intently at Jova while moving his phone away.
“Let him go. I'll talk to him and make sure he leaves and doesn't look for me anymore. Please, let me talk to him. There's nothing I want, except to make sure she's safe,” pinta Jova with glazed eyeballs.
“I promise, won't leave, won't run away, or won't argue, as long as you let me talk to him, then make sure he leaves safely. I beg.” Jova tried to be clear, she no longer knew how to persuade Morgan not to hurt Edmund.
Morgan is seen holding back his anger, until then back to talk to his men.
“Give his phone to the man!” morgan orders while looking at Jova.
Jova was visibly relieved when she was allowed to talk to Edmund, though her heart was still beating rapidly and her chest was heaving and falling irregularly for fear of Morgan doing anything.
“Five minutes.” Morgan only gave Jova five minutes to talk to Edmund.
“Jo.” Edmund's voice rang out from across the call.
“Listen to me, I'm here alright. Please leave here and never look for me again. Sean is with his father, he is happy and I am too.” Jova spoke quickly as she stared at Morgan, who kept looking at the watch for how many minutes Jova talked to Edmund.
“Don't lie, Jo. I know you're not happy.” Edmund's voice was heard.
“I'm happy. I'm happy here, Ed. Go away, and never look for me again. Please.” Jova continues to convince Edmund to leave the city without coercion.
“Ten, nine ...” Morgan began to count indicating that the time Jova had almost run out.
“Thank you for all your help during this.” Jova ended the call because she did not want to upset Morgan.
Morgan had not finished counting and Jova had ended the call.
“He won't look for me anymore. Let her go,” pinta Jova later.
Morgan did not say much, choosing to take the phone that Jova held, then keep it in his pocket.
Jova looks so sad, it has never been this sad since her chastity was snatched away. His gaze turned outwards, looking at the passing street towards a place that would lock him up like a criminal.
On the other side. Edmund looked so disappointed to hear Jova's words. However, she knows that everything Jova did was to save her.
“What should end like this, Jo?”
