“He's my son, ‘kan?” Morgan once again asked because Jova was silent. She is very sure that Sean is the baby, besides Helen who had mentioned Jova with her mother, Sean's eyes and face are similar to Morgan when he was a baby.
Jova was confused and lowered her head, wanting to lie but knew for sure that Morgan would not believe her.
“Don't think of lying to me, Chloe. He's my son?” asked Morgan once again with such a sharp look.
“Do not involve him, I beg.” Jova thinks that Morgan might not be happy if Sean is with her. She was afraid that Morgan would hurt her son.
Morgan gasps, Jova's plea proves that the baby is her son. She smiled inwardly, not expecting to have a child from Jova, especially the baby was a boy.
“How old is he? I like kids,” Morgan said casually.
Jova was flabbergasted at Morgan's words, raised her face and now looked at the man.
“I want to see it.” Morgan suddenly stood up and was about to walk into the house.
Jova was so panicked as to whether Morgan would ask her to take Sean as well. He followed Morgan because he didn't want anything to happen to Sean.
“What will you do? If you don't want it, I won't demand anything either. But I beg you not to involve him, he is still a child,” said Jova full of anxiety and fear.
Morgan stopped the move and made Jova stop, then turned her body to face Jova.
“Do you think I'll hurt him? I'm not that cruel,” Morgan said with a grin in the face.
Having a boy was his dream, how could Morgan not want and want to hurt the baby.
Jova was stunned to hear Morgan's words, until a feeling of anxiety crept up in the chest.
Morgan walked to find Sean, to see the tiny baby was playing with Helen in the living room.
Helen saw Morgan who was already standing staring at Sean, so she turned her eyes to Jova who looked anxious.
Morgan approached and immediately held Sean, making Jova panic and bite the tip of her fingernails when she saw Morgan holding Sean.
Helen is confused by what happened, the woman approaches Jova who looks panicked and anxious.
“Hei, boy. You look so much like me,” Morgan said while carrying Sean.
Sean, who used to be a henchman and did not cry easily, looked at the face of the man who was now carrying him, before then returning busy with the toy held.
Helen was surprised to hear Morgan's words, to look at Jova who looked riled up.
“Jo, what does that man mean. What is he ..?” Helen paused her speech, looked at Jova and asked for a definitive answer from the woman.
Jova turned her head and looked at Helen, understanding what she was saying. He nodded as if confirming, to make Helen very surprised.
“Package, I'll wait in the car with my son.” Morgan took Sean out of the house. Jova and Helen will not be able to prevent the man.
Both of Jova's legs limp, thinking why Morgan was so happy to know that Sean was the man's son. Is now there a possibility to make Morgan bored, what if the man did not want to take it off, making Jova really frustrated and confused.
“Jo, what does it mean? What does it mean to pack?” helen panicked.
Jova leaned against the wall, really why her life was being played back like this. His head felt heavy, both legs felt weak to support the body.
“Aibi, I have to go,” replied Jova in a soft voice.
“Go? Go what do you mean?” ask Helen to make sure.
Jova covered her face with both palms, then her body fell on the floor, crouching while hiding her face.
Helen was very surprised to hear Jova's words, then joined her knees and hugged Jova's trembling body.
“Is there no other way? You don't have to go if you don't want to,” Helen said as she rubbed Jova's back constantly.
Jova shook her head in Helen's arms. The accident that befell Edmund had made him very shocked, what if something bad happened to others, what if Morgan did something to Helen and to his employees.
Jova tried to strengthen her heart, trying to stop crying and waking up from Helen's embrace.
Helen looked compassionately at Jova, why women who had just gained happiness after suffering, now had to go back to suffering again.
“Then what will you do? You're going with that guy?” helen asked while looking at Jova's wet face.
Jova nodded while wiping away the tears that soaked her face.
“I can't let them hurt you,” Jova said.
“But you don't have to sacrifice either,” reply Helen did not have the heart.
“Everything that will happen to you is caused by my problem. I didn't want you guys involved, so I chose to agree to go with him,” Jova said later.
Helen was truly feeling pity, rubbing Jova's cheeks gently.
“Are you going to be okay?” ask Helen to make sure.
“I will definitely be fine,” replied Jova, trying to smile even though her heart ached.
Helen could not prevent, and then helped Jova to her feet.
“I'll help pack Sean's stuff. Jo, if anything happens, call me immediately,” Helen's request.
Jova nodded, though unsure if she could get Helen involved if she needed help.
Helen also packed Sean's belongings, while Jova was in her room and now packed the necessary items. Until Jova's gaze was fixed on the picture frame beside the bed, there were photos of her, Edmund, and Sean who were only a few months old.
Jova remembers Edmund forcing her to hold Sean, saying that he was learning to hold the baby so he could take care of Sean. There was a faint smile on Jova's face as she recalled that day, but it faded as she recalled how Edmund had been in an accident, and was hospitalized. Jova was not sure how Edmund was doing, although the man said he was fine.
“Ed, sorry can't keep your promise with you. I can't let that man destroy you, I hope you understand my decision.” Jova spoke to the photo of Edmund, his fingers gently rubbed the glass frame of the photo.
Helen had finished packing, followed Jova into the room and saw Jova sitting on the edge of the bed while daydreaming.
“I will miss you,” said Helen who made Jova aware of daydreams.
Jova turned her head, until it did not feel the roundness of the clear crystal back shed from the eyelids.
Helen approached, then sat down next to Jova and hugged her.
“I will definitely miss you too, Auntie. If there is a chance, I will definitely call you,” Jova said while hugging.
“Hm .. take good care of yourself,” said Helen and immediately get a reply a nod from Jova.
“Auntie, can I ask for one thing?” ask Jova.
“Ask what?”
“If Edmund asks me where I am, tell him not to look for me, I don't want him to get involved with my problems. I'm worried about his safety.”
