Chapters 6.7

Aish came down from her room after entering lunch time. Under everyone had already gathered at the dining table for lunch and had no intention of calling Aish to join. Not because they were cruel but because they wanted Aish to reflect on all his mistakes yesterday. They also feel awkward talking to Aish because of the cold attitude Aish showed yesterday.

"Family harmony, huh? Am I no longer a member of this family?" Ejek Aish with a bitter smile on her face.

"But yes, I don't intend to join them either. Where would I eat food out of Grandma's hands, cih." Ejek Aish suppressed his painful feelings.

He's always been like this. Actually, he does not really hate his father or stepmother because after all he grew up and was raised by them. His attitude was like this because he finally understood why his mother died and therefore he did not want to accept the fact that the person who had hurt his mother was, Father and Stepmother who had raised him.

Aish disappointed. Starting to stay away from them until finally his heart and soul seemed betrayed when he realized that Dad's attention was greater for Aira.

From there Aish becomes a marginalized and alien within his own family. His attitude changes, he likes to make trouble and is ostracized by many people at school and around him. Everyone looked at him wrongly and even, Dad was no different from them. He was always misunderstood and scolded, but never did anyone ask him why he suddenly changed and why did he have such a terrible attitude?

No one questioned it, this was what made Aish very disappointed.

"Aish finally woke up. Come on, kid, come here for lunch." Mother's soft voice immediately spread Aish's daydream.

Aish just glanced at him coldly and immediately left without saying a word to Mother. He stopped a taxi in front of the compound and entered after giving his destination address.

Just like Auntie, the others were also upset by Aish's behavior which had yet to show any signs of change after being given a hard slap by Grandma. Because for them Grandma was the most respected elder other than Grandfather in this family. So when one of the family members get a reprimand from Grandma or Grandpa, they will definitely be very embarrassed and immediately improve their attitude. This was just a reprimand, not including physical actions like those experienced by Aish.

Aish should instantly turn into a better girl - that is if she has good self-awareness.

"Stop talking about it again. If you don't bother him first, Aish won't make trouble." Grandma said with guilt in her heart.

Aunt pouted, "Is Mom now blaming me?"

"Look at your age now. You are no longer a girl but your behavior is worse than a girl. If you feel like you're an adult then don't look for Aish in the future anymore. He became like this also because of all of our mistakes. To him, losing his mother was a wound that would always imprint in his heart." Grandpa finally interrupted the conversation of his wife and daughter.

From the beginning he was silent to see his children harassing the poor grandson. But not now, she felt so guilty when she saw the wistful look on Aish's face.

Grandfather's words immediately triggered an awkward feeling in the hearts of Father and Mother. They are the cause of Mama Aish falling depressed and ending up leaving this world.

"Dad, it wasn't our fault. But it's wrong that his own mother who insisted on wanting to marry Brother. Even though Brother was dating with Sister-in-law." Aunt is not to blame for this.
