The Wild And Flower

The Wild And Flower
A Step Closer

Mia turned around leaving Diantha who was in the middle of the crowd. He was tired of feeling sorry or even caring for the girl. He stopped sitting on concrete in the middle of the garden of his faculty building. Sighing empty, he closed his eyes. The girl smiled thinly. He never felt like he was ignoring someone. Deep in his mind, he was relieved to no longer pretend.

Shortly after, a man approached her. He stood waiting in front of Mia until the girl opened her eyes.

“There's still something we need to talk about, right?” ask the man to the point.

Mia clenched her mouth, then turned her eyes away. “What to talk about?”

The man snorted. “You already know that our relationship is a gossip material?”

“Terus?” reply Mia defiantly.

“It's not good. Not good for our relationship, not good for Diantha who does not know anything,” said Angga firmly. “And again, this is the campus environment. There are no such rumors, Mia. You also know for yourself, right, how heavy Diantha surrounded by a lot of rumors is not true.”

Mia breathed a heavy sigh. “What do I need to do, brother? Those who exaggerate problems, those who make the campus environment dirty, those who carelessly talk about people. Am I also responsible for Diantha's problems? Though obviously here I am also sick!”

Angga clenched his mouth, looking at the girl with a frustrated look.

“Why diem again?” ask Mia to challenge.

“You can not adult a little?” The guy sighed in despair.

Mia looked at Angga disappointed. The girl chuckled little. “Why do I always have to grow up? Why do I always have to understand the idealistic thoughts of my brother? Why don't you ever think about how I feel? All this time, every time I tell stories, I've always been busy with the same projects Brother. All this time, actually Brother never really thought of me? Even when I asked the reaction of Brother when I shot Brother, Brother can-can forget. Actually big Brother really can't I'm a girlfriend or just nemen nugas the same eating doang, huh?” Mia looked at Angga with explosive rage.

Angga ruffled his hair in frustration. “Mia, we never fought like this before. I think we should break first. Love Brother time.”

Mia held her breath. “No!” reject it. “Now Brother just needs to make a decision. Choose me or Diantha's sister project?”

Angga looked at Mia with the look of her tired eyes. He breathed heavily. “Sorry, Mia. We better break up.”

Mia held back the tears that spilled on her eyelids. “So that's how Big Brother prides our relationship that has been running 4 years.”

......................

Mia was standing in front of the exit of her faculty building, waiting for someone who had been continuously raging in her head. Dianthas. Only Diantha could turn her life around 180 degrees. Mia hates that fact.

Until then the girl he was waiting for brought up his nose. They looked at me from a distance. Diantha looked surprised, but then the girl hurriedly approached Mia.

“Mia?” Diantha greeted Mia doubtfully.

Mia smiled a little. “Gue here is not sorry you,” he said cold.

Diantha was stunned for a moment. Mia who was in front of him at this moment, was unlike Mia whom he had known all along. He did not expect that the beautiful girl could change so quickly.

“But I want to thank you lo,” said Mia continued her unfinished words.

“Means?” Diantha frowned confusedly.

“Denger,” Mia sighed for a moment. “First of all, thanks for being present in my life for one year.”

He looked at Diantha sharply. “Secondly, thanks for your presence for one year it managed to damage the relationship that I have maintained 4 years.”

Then he turned away. But Diantha this time no longer let her just walk away. The girl held her hand.

Mia grunted in annoyance. He then threw Diantha's hand firmly, until accidentally the girl fell to the ground.

“Lo don't have to whip me anymore!” snapped Mia annoyed. “Gue is tired of lo!”

Mia was really gone. And Diantha was forced to give it up with her heart broken into pieces.

Mia walked towards the parking lot where her car was. But then he was surprised by someone who was leaning on his car. Mia looked at the man wondering.

“Udah satisfied?” chirped the man, making Mia suddenly furrow her eyebrows.

“Udah satisfied angry with Diantha? That's what you want, right?” The man insisted.

Mia looked at the man doubtfully. “Lo Damar's name, right?” Who is Diantha? He never told me anything about a guy like lo.”

The man smiled faintly. “Gue who Diantha is not important. The important thing is, I will not forgive anyone who hurts him.”

......................

One day Diantha passed empty. He could barely do anything, before he recalled that he had to find money to pay for his many needs. Today, the girl was asked to face Tama, her supervising lecturer. He could already guess the problem he was about to discuss.

“Diantha, why did you withdraw from the race?” tanya Tama was disappointed.

“Please excuse me, Sir. I can't continue this race because of personal issues.” Diantha looked down bad.

“Are you backing out because of my same team?” Out of nowhere, Angga suddenly came. His words made Tama look at the two of them confused.

Diantha could not deny, but she was at a loss to say how. In his heart he secretly cursed the words of Angga that made him go awry. He knew very well that the man would find every way to be able to follow his project.

Until then Angga ventured to explain subtly. “Please excuse me, Sir. We cannot be in a team because we have personal problems. But Diantha can stay ahead in the race without me.”

He looked at them both in wonder. “But this race should not be done individually. And you have to form a solid team in order to win.”

“Excuse me, Sir. Then Diantha will have to find another team member, right? Means I can apply myself in that team.” Someone suddenly came to interrupt their conversation.

Diantha glanced at the person, then she was forced to think. While Angga and Tama looked at the man confusedly.

“You ...?” Tama pointed to confusion.

“Ah, previously introduce, I am Damar, classmate Diantha.” The man gave his greetings.

Tama chuckles. “Sorry, I rarely met you before.” He paused for a moment. “But, are you sure you want to take part in this race? Have you had any previous experience?”

Damar smiled faintly. “I'm not like that, sir. But I will try my best if given the chance.”

“But this is no joke, loh.” Tama warned.

Damar was about to give a sentence of denial that was already at the end of his lips. But then his words were swallowed back, due to one declaration from Diantha.

“I agree, kok,” said the girl. “The room will be part of my team.”
