Viola smiled lightly. That smile was every nightmare in Neo's childhood memory. "Come, give me your hand." He extended his hand. The well-groomed nails on his pale fingers were all painted pink. The jewel on his fingernails sparkled with a cold light as if it resembled some sort of warning piercing through Neo's eyes. Neo stretched out his hand while trembling and was held tightly by it. He was then taken out by her.
“I think he's just afraid you don't have time to play with him after we get married.” Viola held her hand and stood before Afonso with a gentle and sympathetic look. "She calmed down after I explained to her that I would cut down on filming, take care of her with you, and take her to the amusement park." Seeing Neo lowering his head as if he had controlled his anger, Afonso trusted his words. He was relieved and his thought that marriage was an urgent affair grew stronger.
It was Friday. Winnie came home from work and used to pick up her newspaper and magazine subscriptions that day from the mailbox downstairs. He flipped it over while heading towards the sofa after entering the house. Zoe rushed out of the bedroom and sat on the sofa, showing off the rope braiding skills she had just learned.
“Bilingual Kindergarten? (TK Bilingual Blue Palace?)” Winnie suddenly exclaimed. His eyes widened as he found a thick envelope sandwiched between the papers.
"What's up, Mom?" Curious, Zoe threw the braided rope to the side and approached him. Winnie opened the envelope deftly and a stack of paper documents came out of it. “Authorization letter?” He exclaimed again. "What?" Zoe only knew a limited amount of vocabulary and she frowned confusedly. “Free school charge?” Winnie almost yelled until the roof collapsed. "Mommy!" Zoe raised her ears in dissatisfaction. "You're scaring me, what's going on?"
With a look of disbelief, Winnie muttered, "Why were you offered an offer by Blue Castle? Do you know that Blue Castle?"
Zoe shook her head blankly. Winnie then patted her own head, as if she suddenly recalled something and she muttered, "Of course, how could you know."
Winnie grew up in Nanking since young and she is still very familiar with the famous schools in Nanking. Blue Castle is the most expensive and most luxurious kindergarten, the most top kindergarten that no public would dare to consider in Nanking. It is famous as Hermes in kindergarten, a noble among the nobles. It costs 400 thousand yuan just for school fees a year, excluding meals, uniforms, and school activities. By rough calculations, no one would dare to enter a school without an annual income of over a million yuan.
“I was offered to study in a good school without the need to pay money?” Zoe blinked and was a little confused.
"The point is we didn't register at all, how did they get your personal information? Winnie frowned and felt increasingly strange as she thought. "Could it be your foster Mommy?" Alayna has many friends and she once mentioned her desire to send Zoe to a better private school before. He also mentioned his desire to cover school fees and unexpected expenses, but was rejected by him. Could he have done so before asking his permission? After thinking about it, he called Alayna and upon hearing the news, Alayna exploded on the other end of the phone.
"Blue Castle? Am I brave enough to set you up? You overestimate me too much, brother. I do have the ability to enroll Zoe into that school, but you don't want me to pay the money, and I'm more afraid you can't afford the fees there!" He then exclaimed as Winnie told him more information. "What's? Free school fees, incidental fees and activity fees? Did I hear wrong? Did you just win the lottery?" Winnie would not want to keep her phone away from her ear because of her shrill voice. "Okay, since it's not you, I'm gonna hang up right now. I'll think about it later."
"Hey, have you been dating a rich man lately?" Before hanging up the phone, she heard Alayna teasing her casually. His words reminded him of something. Could it be him? Someone who had great and extravagant abilities, and even had a reason to help him, there would be no one other than him. After a hard fight, he decided to call his number. "Hi, Mr. Villares... Sorry to bother you this late." Other than Afonso, he could not think of anyone nearby who was able to spend several million yuan at once without blinking.
Afonso's voice sounded indifferent from the phone. "What's wrong?"
"I'm sorry, but I really can't think of anyone else but you. I just received a notification from Blue Castle's Bilingual Children's Park, and I just wanted to ask if you're helping me with that?"
Yea? Like those? In a slight daze, Hayden asked, “But why?”
“You have saved Neo, not nothing.”
“The help you give is too big, I can't afford it.”
"For me, it's just a matter of phone calls."
"But..." Winnie doesn't know how to explain her struggles. He stuttered for a long time and could not speak his words properly, afraid he would make Dough misunderstand that he wanted more. "Is there anything else?" There was a hint of impatience in his voice.
"NO..."
"There's still something I have to do, and I'm gonna hang up right now." Busy tones sounded from the phone. Staring at her phone in a daze, Winnie suddenly felt annoyed and moody. There was no problem in helping others, but couldn't he at least ask for her needs first? If he was willing to help on the matter of permitting government organizations to private kindergartens that he was interested in, he would already be very grateful to him by now. But why would he choose the Blue Castle from so many options? Even if he had already paid off the cost, could Zoe have accepted being in a school environment full of children from wealthy families?
“What kind of person is he?” Winnie dropped to the couch. "What's he thinking? He actually wants to send you to Blue Castle to study? Does Blue Castle belong to his family?" Zoe listened to his words openly beside him and she quite understood the situation. Secretly pleased, he said with satisfaction, "It could be that Mr. Villares likes me and he sent me there because he thinks I'm sweet. Who knows maybe I will be his daughter in the future! What's wrong with helping his daughter?"
"Now you're talking nonsense again!" Winnie patted his ass. "I still haven't talked to you about what happened last time in a Japanese restaurant, don't make me trouble again! I have enough problems now!" Zoe pouted and muttered, "I'm not talking nonsense!"
From every condition he witnessed so far, it was seen that Mr. Villares really took care of his mother according to the words of the old man, Mr. Villares had never cared for any woman before and in his treatment had already shown signs of a budding romance. Zoe continued to enjoy her excitement until achieving success. He glanced at his mother who was still sighing and frowned in slight disappointment. Oh Mommy! When can you care and try harder for your happiness? If you do not work hard in life, how can you enjoy life and stand out among other women to marry into a rich family?
Winnie was still in a melancholic mood and she threw the pile of documents at the tea table in frustration. The documents inadvertently touched a pile of newspapers and magazines, and all of them slipped and scattered on the carpet. A red card caught his attention which flew out from the pile of magazines in front of him and coincidentally fell right at his feet. Winnie didn't realize it because she had just concentrated on the registration papers. He leaned over and took it. Her eyebrows furrowed when she caught a glimpse of it because it was an engagement invitation card.
