The Twin Seeds of the Millionaire

The Twin Seeds of the Millionaire
Let Zoe come to my house

Afonso heard someone calling him and caught a glimpse. He was shocked when he saw the little girl waving at him and he felt familiar with the girl. Neo takes the opportunity to break away from his embrace and escape, and he can only chase after her.

Winnie was covering her face and she suddenly felt someone holding her calf. He looked down and met a pair of watery big eyes. The little boy was hugging one of his legs with an excited expression.

"Master! We've met each other before!" Zoe stood by the table and blinked as she stared at Afonso with a pair of large, dark-colored eyes. Afonso thought back for a moment and only then could he combine the image of the reckless little girl who hit him at the airport with the girl in front of him. A gentle light appeared in his eyes.

“How do you get to know each other?” Winnie's still in a daze.

"This is the master who gave me chocolate that day, Mom!" Zoe turned around and explained to him with sparkling eyes. "It just so happens to meet the master here. Or does Mommy know this master too?" Hearing her question, Winnie's gaze froze and she replied, "She's.bos Mommy in the company."

Afonso stood beside the table and asked with a bit of arrogance, “So, this is your daughter?”

"Yes." Yeah."

After hearing his answer, Afonso had an unexplainable feeling. Is he married and has a child? He then deviated from the topic of conversation and asked, “How are your hands?” That's what Winnie was really afraid of. He then braced himself and stuttered while dragging Neo out from under the table and moving it in front of him as his shield, “This, had yet to fully recover. I can't use it now.”

“Then, take a longer break. You don't have to come to work that fast.” Winnie was surprised by Afonso's words. When did he become a relaxed person?

"My Mommy's hands are recovering now! He can go to work from tomorrow!" Zoe suddenly chimed in.

"Zoe Chamber!" Winnie glared at him for unlocking his secret. But Afonso did not take his words seriously and took them as children's nonsense. He then changed the subject. “I have to thank you for Neo. I didn't get to see you at the hospital. Now that I'm not busy, it turns out you're out. I've always wanted to thank Neo in person."

"It's okay." Winnie shook her head. "Now that you've given me a vacation, I take that as a thank you. Plus, it's my job as an employee to ensure the safety of my clients."

"A vacation is a thing." Afonso glanced at Zoe from the corner of his eyes and his gaze suddenly became serious. “But don't forget about the stakes. I do not intend to extend the time period of three months.” Hearing her words, there was a change in Winnie's expression. What the hell is this? Doesn't that mean he'll be wasting his time at rest? The good feeling he had towards Afonso just now instantly vanished. He is good at making others uncomfortable.

Without waiting for Winnie's reaction, Afonso gestured for Neo to approach. “Come away, Neo. Don't bother them lunch.” Yet as if facing an enemy, Neo grabbed tightly onto Winnie's arm and looked at her with a hostile gaze.

"Neo!" Afonso frowned. The stubborn appearance of the little one was exactly the same as the appearance of Afonso who stood before him. Seeing them at odds, Winnie immediately stood up to mediate the dispute. “Sit here if you don't mind. There are four seats.” The staff had arranged a larger table for him because the restaurant was not crowded, and he did not expect the table to be useful at this time.

Seeing that Neo had no intention of leaving at all, Afonso could only sit down sadly. His dejected appearance looked extremely cute in Winnie's eyes. He did not expect the man who is the president of ST Group actually had a weak point. Zoe could not wait to make Afonso a stay and she was forced to pull out a seat for him. “Please sit here, Sir. I'll take fruit.” Just as he was about to leave, he glanced at Neo and invited him sincerely. "Do you want to come with me too, Neo?"

Neo looked at Zoe's cheerful and pleasant face, Neo hesitated for a moment. He then releases Winnie's arm and follows her. He wanted to get along well with Madam Chamber's daughter. But Afonso was very surprised because Neo was willing to hang out with the little girl. His beloved son always had an arrogant and unapproachable personality and he had no friends among his surroundings. She had tried to let him hang out with the children of his friends from his circle of association but he refused to notice any of them. A mild autism that always bothered him. “Your daughter is friendly.”

"You mean Zoe?" Winnie smiled. "He's naughty, sometimes I don't even know how many bad ideas he has on his mind. But he still gets along well with the kids his age, should both be fine with each other, so you don't have to worry, Mr. Villares." Afonso initially wanted to make it clear that it was none of his business, but he gave up. “You don't have to be so formal. Neo really likes you, if you act so respectfully to him, he will lose his temper.” He then lowered his head to order a few more dishes and handed the menu to the waiter.

The two children returned with fruit. Seeing that the dish had not been served, they went to the children's corner to play the slide. The scenery there was good and the place where the children were within their visibility, therefore both parents were relieved. Rarely was there such a relaxed atmosphere and after chatting for a while, Winnie felt Afonso did not look as superior as he used to be at work and their conversation took place casually.

Recalling Neo losing his temper back then, he asked casually, "Oh yes, is the matter of Neo not being able to speak innate? Is it because of her mother's poor health?"

Hearing that, Afonso's calm expression suddenly turned grim. His gaze shifted from the children's corner towards him and there appeared vigilance followed by indifference. "Sorry." Winnie panicked from her gaze and soon realized she had crossed the line. He then quickly explained, "I just want to know." Afonso glanced at him coldly and replied impolitely, "You ask too many questions. You should stay away from other people's business."

Hearing that, Winnie clenched her fingers anxiously under the table with an embarrassed expression. Compared to the awkward feeling he felt, he regretted the mistake he made. No one should carelessly ask a parent about their child's disability, let alone an arrogant parent like Afonso. Silence was between them.

Because of his words, Afonso's eyes slightly glazed as he stared at the corner of the children in the distance. The reason Neo was unable to speak was not due to any congenital disease. She was able to say many complete sentences when she was two years old and was smarter than any child.

If not for him failing to take good care of her and causing her to almost lose her life due to a high fever, she would not have become like that. He had visited many doctors over the years and they all concluded the same-Since Neo's vocal cords were not injured, it was definitely him who was reluctant to speak.

...

All conditions have shown that, Neo is diagnosed with autism.

Winnie nodded and did not ask again.

Meanwhile, Neo was sitting in the middle of a sea of colorful balls. Having lost track of Zoe's whereabouts, she frowned and looked worried. Suddenly, something exploded before him and his balls scattered everywhere. Zoe got up from under the ball and looked at him with a laugh. "I'm here!" Neo was obviously shocked. He was astonished as if it was the first time anyone had played him like that.

Feeling a little surprised, Zoe asked, “What's up, Neo?” Neo shook his head and suddenly held his hand. He pointed towards the dining table, signaling that he wanted to return. Although Zoe had not had enough fun, seeing Neo's terrified expression, Zoe nodded understandingly. “Are you hungry? Come back.”

...

Neo insists on sitting next to Winnie during the meal, no matter how Afonso warns her. Fortunately Zoe was carefree enough that she went straight to the place beside Afonso and said in a childish voice, "Since Neo really likes my Mommy, I'll let her sit next to him. I can sit here." Seeing Winnie showing no dislike, Afonso then let it go.

While observing the adorable little girl beside him, she somehow found the girl to look attractive. “Name Neo Villares,” Afonso introduced. Zoe nodded obediently and a question came to her mind. He then asked, "Oh yes, how old is Neo? What if he's younger than me?"

"He's five years old. His birthday falls one day before the Moonlight Festival." Hearing that, Winnie's gaze froze. Just before the Moonlight Festival? It just so happens that he has the same birthday as Zoe. "What about you?" Seeing Afonso ask back, Zoe scratched her head and looked towards Winnie for help. She could not remember her birthday because she was only five years old. For some reason, Winnie deliberately lied that Zoe's birthday was one month before her actual birthday. "Zoe's birthday falls on September 14." Afonso no longer asked anything about it as if he was just asking for it without any purpose.

When eating, Zoe and Neo both have similar taste preferences: both love sweet foods. As the final dessert was served, Zoe ate it happily while Neo ate it in silence.

But from his clean desert plate after he finished eating, he seemed to enjoy it very much. Children always have an incredible energy and spirit. The two ran back to play in the children's corner after they finished eating. Winnie and Afonso waited for them for a while while accompanying each other. Winnie initially calmed down, but as their waiting time grew longer, she began to see time often.

He then reminded Zoe for the umpteenth time, "Zoe, it's time to go home." Zoe looked up from the sea of balls and caught a glimpse of it. “No, I still want to play with Neo for a while.”

"Zoe Chamber." Every time Winnie called out Zoe's full name, it usually meant she was on the verge of an explosion. It worked out well on ordinary days, but not knowing when Zoe became brave today, she dared to ignore it and continued to play battle games with Neo in the sea of balls. Winnie finally came down and dragged him out. “Do you know what time it is? You should come home with me now, Zoe.” One of Zoe's arms was gripped and she immediately used her other arm to grab the leg of Afonso's pants. "Help me, sir."

Afonso had already planned to accompany his son while he was playing and he did not care how long he played, much less did he find the little girl very attractive. He then lifted her up and held her up, saying gently, "Kids like to play, why not let them play longer?" Zoe wrapped her arms around her neck and looked at Winnie."Mom, since Mommy has nothing to do at home, why don't Mommy talk more with you to improve your relationship!"

Winnie almost coughed blood at his words. "What empty mouth are you talking about, Zoe Chamber? Sorry Mr. Villares, I didn't hit you..." Zoe clings to Afonso like a monkey and refuses to go down. Winnie used to pat her ass to threaten her but her trick didn't work out now that she had great support from Afonso. After causing a commotion due to their quarrel at the restaurant, Winnie then gave up and stood there angrily, looking sad."Mr. Villares, I think it's better that you put him down. I'm lacking discipline, and I'll lecture him when we get back."

"It's okay." Afonso smiled a rare smile. "Zoe is actually quite adorable, he's very active. And it's rare that he can play that well with Neo."

Zoe was sensitive enough to hear his words; she then immediately crawled into the pool through the stairs."Then, can Mommy take me to Neo's house next time?" With an angry expression, Winnie gritted her teeth and spoke, “Zoe, Chamber!”

How could an apprentice like him visit Afonso's house on a leisurely basis?

“Mom, I'll go home with you if you agree.”

As Winnie was about to use a difficult way to bring Zoe home, Neo who was at the side quickly took out a stack of sticky notes from her bag and lifted her up after writing something on it. He let Afonso see what he wrote and it turned out to be: Let Zoe come to our house.

Afonso was surprised because Neo rarely asked for anything from him, especially about friends. Given that psychiatrists mentioned the need for autistic children to establish more relationships with others, he became hesitant. After considering for a while, he then said with a serious look, "Why don't I send someone to pick you up next Saturday? You can come to my house with Zoe."

Winnie's eyes glared and she exclaimed, thinking she heard wrong. But Zoe had started to be cheerful and happy like a bird. He lands on the floor after escaping Afonso's embrace and grabs Neo's hand, forcefully giving him a tos. "Hore.I can go to your house now Neo." Since Afonso had given his permission, it was inappropriate for Winnie to reject the offer and she later agreed. The only joyous thing was that the children finally agreed to leave the Japanese restaurant. Winnie felt every restaurant staff would get to know her soon if she stayed there any longer.

...

After exiting the shopping mall, Afonso's driver drove his car and it was unusual for Afonso to behave like a real man. He rumbled, "I'll take you home." Without waiting for Winnie to refuse, Zoe stepped forward and rushed to the back seat of the car, sat in the car and waved towards Winnie. "Mommy, comein!

"It's safe here!" winnie said, her hand on her forehead couldn't talk. His instincts told him after today, Afonso would have thought he was an irresponsible parent who was very incompetent in educating his son!
