Chapter 79 - Give me some time

The flashback

One year ago, after learning of Meira's pregnancy, Elnan was out of town flying straight from that city to the city where Meira was.

Meira cried, in that cry she tried to explain everything.

Elnan brushed off that hand. He leaves in front of Meira and does not meet Meira again except in court.

After listening to it all, Elnan looked down. He cursed his stupidity which is dominated by emotion alone.

Meira continued her story.

"So you've never cheated on me and purposely aborted the contents?"

Meira shakes.

Elnan could only sigh violently. He was really stupid and upset with himself.

"But everything is just the past. It's been so long too. So you don't have to feel guilty anymore. We have lived each other for a year. And we're fine, aren't we?"

"I'm never okay without you, Mei. I'm just pretending. I don't want to look pathetic in your eyes when you're happy with another man" she said, smiling wryly.

"But, as it turns out, you've never been with another man? I'm so stupid! Ahaha!"

Suddenly Elnan laughed. Regretting what happened.

"I don't know, can I be said to be self-informed, or greedy. But I can't forget you. I can't stop loving you. I'm always thinking of you. I went as far away as I could for a year. Can we get back together like we used to?"

Yes, Elnan does not know himself, has hurt women with his words. Then come back and invite the woman to knit back their love story that has run aground.

Meira doesn't budge. He did not even resist the touch of Elnan's hand in his hand. He looked into his heart.

Elnan walked away from there, waving his hand.

The car that Elnan was driving was no longer visible. While Meira, she was still sitting on the spot earlier. He looked up at the sky and tried to close his eyes.
