Chapter 23 - Becoming a Pretended Lover

Aura came out of Mami Lena's room and approached Rendra back who was already sitting in his original place.

"What do you mean you're asking me to be your paid woman?" asked the curious Aura.

"You're done with work, right? Let me take you home," said Rendra who deliberately did not answer Aura's question.

"Answer question!" pinta Aura stared at Rendra's face.

"I'll answer it but not now. I'll answer tomorrow and explain what you do for a week" replied Rendra.

Aura no longer asked for answers, because useless Rendra is not a person who is easily persuaded as long as he knows the man.

"Let's go home!" take Rendra again.

"I can do it myself" replied Aura.

"As long as there is me why do I have to be alone? You said you could save money?" said Rendra tried to change the decision Aura who refused to be driven home.

"Tomorrow morning you should come to my resort and see me at 08:00. There is no word too late even 1 second," said Rendra with his flat face.

Rendra nodded then drove his car away from the Aura house area.

Aura walked into her house. Again his sister looked at him sharply and removed both of her hands on his chest as if intimidating Aura.

"Sister, who was that man? Why does it seem like lately brother is often escorted by the man? Even when he was drunk, his brother was carried by him. Is she brother's new boyfriend?" ask Alin.

"Hus! Don't just talk. How could a guy like him be sister's boyfriend. Big brother's world and he's too different. He was just a big brother's friend and is now a big sister's client" replied Aura who did not want to lie to her sister.

"Who knows he likes you. Even though his attitude was cold, he was the attention of his brother. That time alone, he took off his shoes, brother," said Alin about the incident that night.

"When she becomes sister's boyfriend, I agree. The important thing is that the person is kind and accepts the brother as he is" Alin said.

The next day, Aura was getting ready to go to Rendra's resort. He also waited for an online motorcycle he booked in front of his house. Soon an online ojek came and Aura went straight to the resort of Rendra with it.

Arriving at the resort, Aura asked Rendra where she was at the reception.

"Is there an appointment with Mr Rendra?"

Aura nodded.

"Is Miss Aura?" ask the receptionist.

Aura nodded again.

"Mr Rendra is in the park, you are told to meet him there" the receptionist said.

Aura walked into the resort and looked for the park where Rendra was. Upon seeing Rendra's whereabouts, Aura approached the man and sat down next to Rendra.

"Last five minutes. You'll get punished later" said Rendra.

Aura was flabbergasted because he realized he had arrived at the Rendra resort at 07:55. That means he's not late at all.

"I'm not late, even I came before 08:00" Aura said.

"You don't remember what I said last night? You should see me at 08:00. That means 08.00 you should be in front of me not just come to my resort" said Rendra, who did not want his decision to be disputed.

The aura could only sigh. He did not understand how the mind of the man who was before him at this time.

"Alright, I will take the punishment from you" said Aura.

Rendra smiled thinly, so thin that even Aura was unable to see it.

"Explain what I should do."

"For the next week you must be my pretend lover in front of my mama" said Rendra.

A flabbergasted aura of disbelief. How could he lie to a mother? He would feel very guilty if he did that. Because all this time the clients who come to him mostly hire himself to be a pretend lover in front of friends, ex or at business meetings not in front of his client's family.

I don't need you to pretend with your attitude and appearance. Just pretend to be my girlfriend. Do you understand?" said Rendra again.

"Yes understand" replied Aura.

"good. If you haven't had breakfast, you can ask for a meal at the chef here. Because after this, we'll go somewhere" Rendra said.

For matters of food, Aura would not refuse at all. Moreover, the food in the resort owned by Rendra tastes very extraordinary. So, Aura did not want to waste that chance.
