Jocelyn smiled and greeted every customer she met. His jovial attitude makes him easily liked by colleagues at work.

He also never complained about the work he did, even still helping other employees when there was trouble.

As he had just done, the co-worker who was supposed to work on this shift had to go to the hospital to accompany his sick sister.

And now Jocelyn is replacing her friend's shift, but for some reason, she doesn't feel overwhelmed at all.

The door opened, ringing the bell that was on the pinty for the umpteenth time, a sign that a customer had come to the cafe.

Jocelyn again put on her friendly face to greet customers and give them the best service, both corners of her lips she pulled up to form a smile.

But the smile slowly dissipated, replaced with a surprised face. The sturdy fortress he had built long ago felt crumbling. Jocelyn didn't even know what to react to.

"It turns out my guess was right,"

That one sentence alone was enough to tear down the entire defensive fortress he had built all along. The person he did not want to see again came to him.

Jocelyn's common sense seemed to have disappeared, the tip of her eyes slowly and without aba let out a pure grain. He was eager to shout in front of this man.

But this he could not do, the face of another customer who looked at him with a confused look he realized. Jocelyn held back her tears and tried to go back to being professional.

"May I take your order, sir?" Jocelyn's friendly prefix gives as a greeting to the person she considers the customer.

"Can I talk to you for a second?" The answer that came out from the person before her did not match the question Jocelyn had asked.

"Sorry before. But I'm at work, so can I take your order now?"

Jocelyn refused subtly, trying to stay focused on her activities.

"Joe..." A voice and a call he had not heard for a long time. Makes Jocelyn a little homesick.

"If you don't order, please don't interrupt the queue, there are a lot of people waiting for their turn while you waste my time with your personal affairs."

Jocelyn again throws the sentence of rejection, she is not ready to melt again if she has to talk about the past.

"I'll wait for you to finish work,"

Jocelyn exhaled slowly, she still could not believe the man in front of her was still persistent.

"Can you just.......Leave....Jason"

"I'll wait for you outside" Jason's final was like nothing to argue with.

Jocelyn clenched her hands annoyed, among all people, why she had to go back to meet the person she kept avoiding.

Deep breath joe's.. Deep breath's. You're working right now - Jocelyn

After calming herself down, Jocelyn finally resumed her work and thought nothing of Jason at all.

Time passed, the clock showed at 6 p.m., Jocelyn had finished work. He changed his uniform with casual clothes.

Jocelyn gets out of work and finds Jason still waiting for her. Jocelyn was just about to leave, but somehow she approached Jason.

"A jeans and a hoodie, this's always you. Never change"

Jason opened the conversation by commenting on Jocelyn's style, the first thing that made him fall for the woman. Simple!

"People changes, but I guess I don't!"

Jocelyn's cynical words sounded quite hurtful to Jason, but he did not comment on this further. Jason didn't want to add to the murky atmosphere.

Jocelyn had been willing to meet and talk to him alone, it was more than enough for Jason.

Moreover, if considering his actions that hurt Jocelyn all this time, it feels like to just ask for it is like opening an old wound for Jocelyn.

"So tell me, what do you want to talk about until you have to wait for me like this,"

Jocelyn spoke to the point. The attitude he usually shows when he is angry.

"I.., just want to see you,"

"Should I be supported?. Do I have to hear what you want to say?. After more than three years you left without telling me anything,"

Jocelyn laughed loudly upon hearing the reason put forward by Jason waiting for her.

Jason said calmly and this made Jocelyn even more upset.

"Don't be silly, that would never happen for whatever reason it is,"

"And even if you had your reasons, it's not like I'd take my own time to listen to you, either,"

Jocelyn again added her statement and in the end Jason did not give any objection.

Jason sighed softly, he also did not know what else to say if Jocelyn did not want to hear it.

"In that case, I'll take you home. I hope you don't reject it, at least this is all I can do to show my goodwill,"

Jason offers his goodwill by offering to drive Jocelyn home, but it seems Jocelyn is in disbelief.

"It won't be necessary, I can go on my own,"

Jocelyn rejected Jason's good intentions with a lazy look, she no longer wanted to bond with this man for the umpteenth time.

"Can I have a hug? I've been missing it,"

"........"

Jason's random request, making Jocelyn surprised and confused what to react. His hands were stretched out ready to wait for the past to come.

With a deep breath, Jocelyn went into Jason's arms. Enjoying the warmth that he had long since missed.

Can Jocelyn hear, Jason's heart rate is getting hardened along with a hug that Jason slowly moaned on Jocelyn's body.

"I really miss you" whispered Jason slowly as fast as a kiss that also floated at the top of Jocelyn's head. But there is no reply.

Jason returns speechless and tries to make sense of the decision Jocelyn has taken with her

not questioning his misses further.

"Ah, before I go, let me warn you!. When you get home, don't drink wine or alcohol,"

"......"

"Drink a lot of warm water and go to bed. Otherwise, tomorrow you'll wake up in the flu. Especially if it's cold tonight,"

Jocelyn's spontaneous speech was enough to make her smile, she did not know if the woman still remembered all the things about herself well.

"Do you remember?"

"I'm used to it!"

After saying that sentence, Jocelyn hurried to take off their embrace and left Jason staring at her with a pushy look.

If only I had been a little quicker to see you, I would have explained well the reason I did all this - Jason

Jason picks up his phone and presses a string of numbers before finally connecting to a call.

He spoke to someone connected across the call with a flat tone and an uninterested look.

[F]

[UNKNOWN]

"Are you going to take me for a drink tonight?, I'm ready and I'll be waiting for you here. So come quickly!"

^^^[Jason]^^

^^^"I won't come, you'd better get another man to accompany you. I'm not in the mood right now,"^^

[UNKNOWN]

"What made you change your mind that fast, I can help you get your mood back. Also this afternoon, you were still teasing me,"

^^^[Jason]^^

^^^"It seems you misunderstood me, I obviously didn't tease you at all. Aren't you crawling into my lap of your own accord?"^^^

^^^"In addition, someone has also told me to rest and you can only know that. So don't bother me anymore."^^^

[END CALLS]

Jason turned off his phone call and went straight back to the mansion.

Before he actually left the meeting location he and Jocelyn, Jason had already contacted one of his subordinates and told him to monitor Jocelyn home safely.
