Inspiration

Since childhood, Selena's dream was to become a doctor. Moreover, after watching several Korean drama films, the teenage girl became more interested and inspired.

One of South Korea's most beloved medical films is the drama Doctor Romantic.

In the drama, it tells the story of a doctor's uncle who is very talented and understands well his goal to become a doctor, as well as two young doctors who were transformed and educated by him into a true doctor according to each of their characters and talents.

Through the drama film, Selena was inspired that to become a doctor, the most important thing is a noble goal.

The girl liked a few lines from the main character of the drama that read; "Whatever the position of a person or whoever that person is in the community, to a doctor, all patients are the same. All patients deserve to be saved, regardless of their condition. Then, a doctor must set aside personal reasons and struggles while at work, because the life of the patient depends on it."

Selena considers the character of the doctor's uncle from the drama film as a virtual role model. Later, it was concluded that his doctor father was his main role model.

His father was a general surgeon who was patient and able to calm the hearts of his patients who were afraid or worried in the face of illness or the reality of life.

As a doctor, Selena's father has healed many others not only through certain treatments and treatments, but also through the life encouragement he gives to these people psychologically.

The father who was also religious and pious made many patients queue to be helped and healed medically by him.

The words are always remembered and can be felt personally by Selena, although Ben has not been able to understand them because he has never experienced such things.

Meanwhile, Ben and Selena's mother is a housewife. He also performed his duties as a mother and wife well.

The best advice they have ever heard from the mother is; "If you are all grown up and each one is successful, you are still a child to us. When you are filial or return the favor to the parents, it is not because of coercion, but because of your obligations and affection to the parents. If you honor us until we are old, your blessings will not be diminished."

Both Selena and Ben grew up with similar principles. Although they are adrift with their age, gender, and character differences.

The brothers always prioritize family matters above personal interests. One example is; putting aside their schedule and personal desire to play or watch a drama when both their parents are bothered or ask for help suddenly.

Personally, the thing that is liked and hated by Selena is when she starts to be tempted to think or want a lover. For him, it was still early and a little embarrassing to tell his family.

However, there are many other girls around 16 years old like Selena who are much different from the girl. They have been a few steps faster when it comes to falling in love and dating, some have even fallen into relationships that were not supposed to be or not yet, and experienced bad events.

Through this and that incident that was observed by Selena during her infancy, the girl learned to be careful in taking action, responsible, at peace with herself, set priorities, and take care of herself, dare to evaluate yourself and accept good reprimands, and challenge yourself to be more advanced and successful.
