It's a Good Saturday

After returning home from school with Bryan on Friday, Selena felt a little calmer this morning. That doesn't mean their relationship is back to how it was.

The events in the UKS room yesterday still make it difficult for Selena and Bryan to open with each other. It's not like before. What happened to Bryan? Does he really want to forget Selena, or does he have a reason?

Now, Selena can only guess. At least they can talk to each other again.

Suddenly, Selena's HP shook. The girl casually checked her HP, then..

"Br-Bryan?" selena's eyes widened in shock, as she received a text from Bryan.

A little nervous and hesitant, the girl read the message.

Selene. Can I call you? 2 Minutes only.

Selena was surprised. Although they would talk on the phone as they pleased and for as long as possible, Selena now feels quite happy about this progress.

Selena also typed in a reply..

Alright. We'll talk. 2 minutes.

On the other hand, Bryan smiled gently. He could imagine Selena's slightly happy face when she accepted this invitation.

Selena's phone is shaking..

"Hello.." said the girl slowly.

"Hello, Selena."

"Ha-hello, Bryan."

The voice that Selena had longed for. Instantly, Bryan's voice makes Selena 'wake up from sleep', feeling given life after a long loss of passion for her life.

"Haha.. Selene. I miss you so much."

"Bryan.." Selena's cheeks are red.

"Selena. listen to me. Don't expect us to be back anytime soon. However, once in a while we can talk like this over the phone for approximately 2 minutes."

"W-what?! Bryan, don't try to play me huh! I'm really gonna-" rampage Selena all of a sudden.

"I love you Selena." Bryan said.

"Bo-liar." said Selena softly, but her face blushed slightly.

"I'm not lying, Selena."

"..."

"Even if I love you so much, you can forget me, if that is your will" Bryan said in a soft tone of voice.

Bryan's voice instantly also managed to soften Selena's heart. The girl could feel the pain implied in Bryan's voice.

"Bryan.. Are you okay?" selena asked, instinctively.

Bryan was a little surprised. He paused for a moment, then replied; "I'm fine. Don't worry, Selena."

"All right then."

They were silent on the phone for a few seconds, then..

"Celena. I'm sorry, but I have to hang up now" Bryan said.

"Whatever." Selena replied briefly, like a little disappointed.

"Haha. Selena, you're really sweet, as always. Don't be sad. See you soon."

Before Selena could answer, the call was ended by Bryan.

"Huh, you don't know yourself! But.." Amuk Selena alone.

Surprisingly, although the words spoken by Selena were a form of protest against Bryan, the smile did not stop on the lips of the girl.

"What would happen if I couldn't talk to Bryan again.. AH~~ I must always be grateful for the situation. Maybe God is testing me." said Selena, as she threw herself on the bed.

Because today is Saturday and the school happens to be closed, Selena plans to take Ben for a walk in a large mall in the city of Surabaya, namely Sunway Mall.

However, as both of their parents are busy, Selena thinks of taking another person to take turns to accompany and watch Ben.

Finally, Selena called someone..

"Hello. What's up, Selena?" marianna said, a little surprised because Selena was not used to calling her.

"Hello, Mary. Are you busy today?" asked Selena a little awkwardly.

"Not really. Why why?"

"That's.. Actually, I intend to take you for a walk together at Sunway, if you want." Selena said without making small talk.

"Ah.. You may. I am bored at home too. Let's meet there. What time?" answer Marianna.

"ah! Do you really agree?!" call out Selena suddenly.

"Hm? Why why anyway? You don't have to be so excited, do you?" marianna said, a little surprised.

"Hide. Of course I'm happy, because it's the first time I've been able to walk with Mary" Selena said sincerely.

"Stupid. hmm. but I'm happy too. Aren't we weird friends, Selena?" marianna.

"Any?"

"Yes, weirdo. It's so weird."

For a moment, Selena's mind somehow turned to Bryan and herself.

"so apparently.. Thank you, Mary." Selena said with a smile, though invisible to Marianna.

"Hm? Thank you what? You're a little weird, Selena."

"Haha."

Although she rarely spoke, Marianna was actually very worried about Selena who recently became very lethargic and increasingly thin.

"Celena. Are you all right?" ask Marianna.

"You mean?"

"Ah. no. Forgetit. I think you're okay."

"Always take good care of yourself, Selena" said Marianna.

Selena was slightly moved by Marianna's attention to him, then she replied; "Yes. You too, Mary."

"Oi, Selena."

"Nh?"

"What time is~~?" marianna.

"Oh yes. Hehe. At 2pm. So, you have lunch first." replied Selena.

"OKs. See you later."

"Bye, Mary."

After she finished talking to Marianna, Selena immediately talked to Ben, then told her sister to take a bath before herself.

Ben was only 5 years old, so Selena helped him clean and tidy up a bit.

"Silver take a shower now. Ben can wear his own clothes." said his little brother.

"Alright, sister take a shower first. Ben just put on a neat shirt, then dry his hair." Selena replied.

"Yes, brother."

The little boy faced himself in front of a large mirror high in Selena's room, while wearing his clothes.

Ben is quite independent and smart for a child his age. He can do a lot of things alone well, although sometimes still not perfect.

A few hours later..

"Done." said the boy.

Ben looked at the reflection of himself in front of the mirror with satisfaction, as if saying 'you look cool' to himself.

"Well, Ben is smart. Come on, we're leaving." said Selena, stroking her sister's head.

Ben chuckled, then followed Selena out of the room.

"Father, Mama. We go first." said Selena, saying goodbye to her parents.

"Yes, Son. You have to be careful" said both parents, waving their hands.

Selena has ordered a taxi service that is popular and safe, dubbed Indo Move. Shortly after, the taxi in the form of an ordinary car arrived.

Before letting Ben enter the car, Selena quickly confirmed the license plate number by observing him for a moment. They also went to Sunway Mall.

Shortly thereafter..

"Mary!" call Selena.

"Celena. Oh, you're taking the little guy." said Marianna, bowing and slapping Ben's cheek with both palms.

"Ben, let's say hello to Sister Mary" Selena said.

"Hello.. My name is Ben.." said Ben timidly.

"Geez. That's so cute your sister, Selena. Sister's name is Marianna. Just call Mary sister. What's Ben gonna buy at Sunway?" ask Marianna squashy.

"Ben.wanted to buy milk and bananas." replied the boy plainly and frankly.

"Oh, hahaha. If it's in the supermarket, Ben. Later after we go for a walk, brother will accompany Ben to the supermarket on the ground floor ya." said Marianna with a smile.

"What would Selena buy?" the boy asked his brother, unexpectedly.

Selena felt anxious and happy because her little sister was also paying attention to her.

"I don't want to buy anything Ben likes" Selena replied.

"No. Can't be!" contact the boy.

"Eh, why Ben?"

"Sister has to buy something nice, like that necklace that brother is wearing!" Ben pointed towards his brother's neck.

Selena and Marianna's eyes were immediately fixed on the small heart-shaped golden necklace worn by Selena.

The necklace was Bryan's gift during Selena's birthday..

"Well, if that's your brother doesn't have enough money to buy it, Ben. Come on, let's buy something delicious for starters." take Marianna, distract Ben.

Marianna realizes the change in her best friend's facial expression, so she accidentally invites Ben to buy food. Then, while holding Ben's hand, the girl occasionally glanced at Selena who was walking dreamily behind them.

"Oh yes." said Marianna, stopping to step.

Unknowingly, Selena hit her friend's body slowly as she walked while thinking in her own world. Marianna deliberately did so so that Selena re-thought of this happy walking event.

Maybe Selena still can't forget Bryan. I hope he's okay in 2 or 3 months later.
