The Desire of the Hidden

On Friday the next day, Bryan began teaching his 2nd grade friends after school.

Unexpectedly, everything was going smoothly and much easier than he had imagined. Maybe because it was still the first day, so all the children felt awkward and obedient listening to Bryan's teachings.

Unsolicited, Hanaya High School's 2nd grade kids really made Bryan their idol and favorite teacher of the whole year.

Bryan doesn't like this much. But he can only let it. After teaching a few subjects, answering a lot of questions, correcting mistakes, and so on, they still plan to get more teaching from Bryan.

Their plan is 2 hours early gathered at school, then the remaining 2 hours they will move in a fairly large cafe. However, because the seating in the cafe is still very lacking, some of them are forced to decide to go home first.

They admire the way Bryan teaches. Somehow Bryan can teach very well, even though he was first trying. They wanted to imitate Bryan in words, actions, etc. But they also know it is impossible.

A friend named Darren asked Bryan.

"Bryan, where did you learn to teach like this? Your words are like a motivator or a very experienced teacher. And again, you can be humorous when you teach us. You're really unique and great" Darren said, praising Bryan.

"Ah, not really." replied Bryan casually and kindly.

"What is not? I also acknowledge your ability to speak and inspire others. By the way, is anyone your role model, Bryan?" timpal Sammy's.

"Hmm. inspiration? If that is certainly the case in this world there are a lot of them. Maybe I just sort through the best and most reasonable for me. However, we should all know that anyone can inspire others, not necessarily famous people or prestigious public figures. If you find it hard to find inspiration, look at yourself first. What kind of person do we want to create through ourselves" Bryan replied.

"Hmm. everyone certainly wants to be a successful person or be the best person possible" said Sammy.

"That's true, but often people fail to imagine or act rashly. Without the right motivation and enough understanding, people like anything will fail. Whether it fails at the beginning, middle, or end. Therefore, we learn from experience. And, even if the experience does not have, we must be willing to humble to learn to others. On the contrary, if we choose to be indifferent and haughty, we will not grow but degenerate."

"Oh, so so. How can you always have humility? Though you are so perfect and versatile" said Sammy honestly, still keep asking Bryan as if he was the one who wanted to give the work or appreciation to the intelligent.

"Hmm. humility cannot be forced. However, I can give you some tips."

"Will you share those tips, Bryan?"

Bryan sighed. In fact, he himself had never been asked or answered these kinds of questions.

Looking at Bryan who sighed, Sammy did not dare to ask any more and quickly said; "If you feel any objection, you do not need to share those tips. You seem to be tired of Bryan, we've just finished it for today."

Finally, at exactly 6 pm they ended the learning and question and answer session. Before returning home, they thanked and said goodbye to Bryan.

Arriving at home..

"Who..! So tiring. More tiring than menial work." said Bryan single-handedly by throwing his body on a long sofa in the living room.

"Bryan's. You came home late" said Joseph, Bryan's brother. He just came out of the bathroom and looked at his sister with the view 'you have to take a bath before lying down anywhere.'

"Sister, cut me up" said Bryan as he got off the sofa and was about to hug his brother.

Bryan chuckled, then he said; "My brother is really cleanliness crazy."

"Yes, it's not like you're just taking a shower after a workout."

"And I exercise almost every day" Bryan said.

"I.. slovenly!"

"Haha. I'm clean too, brother. I shower every day, so you don't have to worry. If you continue to have OCD tendencies like this, how will you have a boyfriend?" joking Bryan.

"...It's none of your business. Take a quick shower there." said Joseph ketus.

"Yes, yeah. Alright." Bryan followed his brother.

After taking a bath, they ate dinner with solemnity and did not talk anymore. This is due to the rules that must be obeyed by the brothers during their stay with the father who had just devoured his food with a serious face.

"Papa." suddenly Bryan idly called out.

His father did not answer or look at his son.

"Father." call Bryan a second time.

"Stt. Shut up, you'll be scolded." whispered Joseph, nudging his sister's arm.

The father was not always able to be spoken to by his two sons. Sometimes when the father's mood is bad, he will suddenly get angry and punish his two sons. Fathers tend to be dominant from the time they are young, even when their mothers are still alive. In fact, once the mother was made completely submissive and often scolded if they made the slightest mistake by their father.

The father named Antonio or Anton is a middle-aged man who is still dashing, perfectionist, mysterious, and attractive to women like or women younger than him. Fortunately, the father did not remarry or establish a covert relationship with a woman other than the late mother. His two sons would not have been able to accept it if it were so.

Joseph, the first son, grew up inheriting his father's perfectionist, slightly haughty, hard-faced nature. His face is very similar to his father. Only, he is not as hard as his father and has its own uniqueness in terms of cleanliness.

Bryan, the second and youngest son, was completely different from his father. Not only the face, but its nosy, witty, and less submissive nature is somehow inherited from whom.

If you look at this family formed and arranged by their father, no one should feel as free or as cute as Bryan.

Their late mother often advised her two sons to obey her father, if they wanted to be successful and blessed by God.

Although Joseph could accept all of these things, Bryan did not. He actually harbored a feeling of dislike and disappointment for the actions of his father who was always hailed by others.

According to Bryan, the father never appreciated his mother and did not play a role in her happiness all along.

However, Bryan was able to hide all his feelings for his father without complaining or talking about the mother he had always missed so much.

Because of all the things that have been pressing and limiting him, now Bryan wants to find his own happiness. One of them is through his beloved girlfriend, Selena, whom he has never discussed with his father or Joseph. For Bryan, Selena is a girl who should be treated differently, valued, and protected at all times.
