The Substitute Husband's Love
Chapter 9
Lewis Residence.
The car driven by Nathan, has arrived at his parents' residence. Nathan immediately parked the car, then turned off the engine and removed his seatbelt. Nathan looks up at Elle, the girl is seen taking off her handset and putting it in her little bag. Then Elle grabbed her seatbelt and let it go, it did not escape Nathan's current sight.
After finishing removing the seatbelt, Elle slowly grabbed the car door without caring for Nathan. Elle was still upset, she still did not want to talk to her husband. Nathan who saw Elle not caring about him immediately let out his voice.
"Are you still angry?" Nathan asked to stop Elle's intention of getting out of her husband's car.
Elle turned around, smiling. "Why am I angry? Have you made a mistake so I should be angry?" Elle turned around and looked at her husband. While the husband looks to take a long breath.
"Yes, I made a mistake that made you angry. And I'm sorry." Nathan's words softened his tone.
Again, Elle smiled as she shook her head. "You don't have to apologize, Ren. I'm not angry at all with you." Tukas Elle without letting go of the smile on her beautiful face. Even the look in the eyes of this girl seemed warm and soothing to make Nathan again feel strange things in him.
"We'd better get down, maybe Mama's waiting for us inside." Invite Elle when he saw the husband who was just silent without answering his words earlier. After that, Elle rushed down from the husband's car, not to forget Elle also closed the car door slowly.
Nathan rubbed his face rough, he looked at Elle who was outside his car, then he smiled wryly. "No! I can't possibly fall in love with that girl. Yep! It's impossible." Baitn Nathan while trying to neutralize his heartbeat which suddenly thumped. "Damn! What's wrong with my heart? Why is it like this? It's impossible if I've.... Aaarghhhh! Awake, Nath. She's your sister's woman, you can't fall in love with her." Nathan turns back on his feet while hitting an innocent steering wheel.
Nathan knows very well what he feels right now, because he used to feel it when he fell in love with Viona. However, Nathan must quickly dispel those feelings before they grow too deep.
Nathan rubbed his face again violently, smiling wryly. "It's only been a day of marriage, but the girl has been able to make me this way. Stupidhead! Why is he so easy to get my attention? Am I a good guy now? Goddamnit!" Nathan snorted angrily, he again hit the innocent steering wheel. After that Nathan grabbed the car door, then he went down and rushed both feet towards the trunk of the car.
Nathan opens the trunk of the car, then picks up the suitcase himself and Elle. Elle, who saw this, immediately approached Nathan. "Let me carry my suitcase." Elle surprised Nathan.
"God... Why are you surprising me? You deliberately want to make me hang!" Nathan exclaimed as he looked at Elle in annoyance. Temporary, Elle. He laughed and found it funny to see Nathan's face at this time.
"Darling, why is your face so funny? Gee whiz... " Say Elle while pinching Nathan's cheek.
Nathan immediately clasped Elle's hand, he looked at Elle with a changing gaze. Meanwhile, Elle was still laughing, she did not pay attention to the eyes of the husband who had changed. "Stop laughing, baby. This is not funny at all!" nathan said, making Elle immediately close his mouth tightly. "Good Girl. Come on, let's go in." Nathan continued while showing a smile on his handsome face.

"It's okay." Said Elle while shaking her head slowly.
"If there's nothing, we'd better get in." Tukas Nathan who just got a nod of his head from Elle. After that Nathan immediately rushed both feet to the main door of his parents' residence.
While Elle, she is seen sighing violently, while looking at her husband's back. "Good Girl? It's weird, usually Rendra never says that. Why is he a stranger? Is this really just my feeling? Ah, never mind, I'd better catch up with him." Inner Elle while stepping both feet following the husband to the main door of the mother-in-law's house.

The arrival of Nathan and Elle was of course welcomed warmly by the mother of Melodi and the servants of the Lewis residence. The servants lined up neatly, while mama Melodi was seen walking towards Elle and Nathan who were currently inside the mansion.
"Nathan, Ellie. You've arrived." Melodi said as she stood in front of Nathan and his daughter-in-law.
"Yes, mah." Nathan said as he put the two suitcases near the table. While Elle, he just smiled while nodding his head slowly.
"Mama's cooking?" Nathan asked while removing one button from his shirt.
"Why? Are you a laper?" Mama Melodi turned around while looking at her son.
Nathan shook his head, then he glanced at Elle. "I'm not hungry, ma'am. But my wife." Nathan answered, looking back at his mother.
"Alright, mama will tell the aunt to prepare a meal for you two. Now you guys sit down, rest, ok." Said mama Melodi while gently rubbing the head of her daughter-in-law.
"Later, mah. I'm not a laper yet, just thirsty."Elle made Mama Melodi immediately frowned confused.
"Loh, that was Na.... Emm I mean Mama Rendra said you were laper, baby." Melodi's mom said, who was close to falling asleep, mentioning Nathan's name in front of Elle.
Elle was silent at once, she felt something strange about her mother-in-law. Elle remembered very well, when this morning even her mother-in-law called Na's name as it is now. So, who was Na to whom her mother-in-law meant?
