It was getting late afternoon, as the dry and dusty twilight wind hit. In a shopping courtyard, a young woman was still standing observing the atmosphere inside the shop. His face looks so sour. The drink bottle that was held, was already hidden in the trash can as an impingement medium.
"I can't take it anymore, just look at it!" skink.
Then the girl turned on her motor and left the place.
On the other hand, the four people were almost simultaneously, coming out of a shop.
"Yes, pretty boy. Yuyum went home first yes, same Mas Sakha. Goodbye!" Yumna cried out when she was sitting in her arms. He smiled broadly as he waved a hand that was still holding his favorite round fan.
Mesha and Zafia retaliate for Yumna's hand. Later, Mesha hugged Zafia's arm as was his custom when he was in school.
"You wanna come by my house first, Fi?" ask Mesha.
Zafia raised her wrists, glancing at the timepiece that was coiled there.
"I'm going straight home, Sha. You will also be working tomorrow. Need a break."
"Okay, if that's it. See you next time, Fi!" Mesha took off Zafia's hand, kissed each other on the left and right cheeks, then walked towards the sidewalk.
"Wait, Sha!" Zafia's call stops Mesha's move.
The beautiful girl turned her body.
"What's up, Fi?"
Zafia ran over and pulled out a bag of maroon-colored groceries.
"What is this, Fi?"
"That's ... Sakha bought it. For you, Sha."
"Ta—but, Fi ...."
"Udah. Just take it, Sha! I don't feel good about this."
Mesha exhaled quickly.
"Yes already. Thank you, Fi."
"Eh, don't thank me, Sha. I'm not the one who bought it."
Mesha smiled, then said goodbye and waved at his good friend.
Arriving at home, Mesha opened a bag of maroon-colored groceries. He was so surprised, when he saw a sky blue shirt his favorite brand folded sweet in the bag earlier.
Mesha put the shirt on his body, then looked at the reflection in front of the glass. The shirt is so fitting. His skin looks brighter.
"Well, it turns out this color is good for me, too" he murmured.
Then, the beautiful-eyed girl pulled out her phone from inside the bag. He pressed a name from the contact list on the box object.
A distinctive sound was heard from across there as the call was connected.
"What's up, Ma'am?"
"Thank you for the shirt, Mas" said Mesha.
"Oh, that's .. equally, Ma'am. Isn't that right, Mommy?"
"Yes, Mum."
Then silence enveloped the two men.
"Sorry, Ma'am. Not that I'm degrading .. but, I just ...." Sakha started talking, breaking the silence.
"It's okay, Mom. I accept the gift, but I can't give you anything more, just a thank you."
"You mean, Mommy?"
Mesha. He wants to reveal that he is afraid Sakha misunderstands his attitude. But his tongue is so funny. He was even more afraid that his words would hurt the kind man.
"Eh, ma—maaf, Mas. There's nothing. Thanks again. Yes, Mas Sakha just rest. Oh yes, the report problem, tomorrow we talk again at the office."
"Oh .. yes. Yes, Ma. Happy resting!"
"Mas too!"
Mesha threw his body on the bed. He lay on his back, staring at the ceiling. His mind was so fucked up. Over time, he began to fall asleep.
Mayang went into Mesha's room. He shook his head when he saw his daughter close her eyes, but both of the girls' legs dangled to the floor. Gently, the middle-aged woman patted Mesha's cheek.
"Sir, wake up .. ndak ilok sleep at this hour," he exclaimed gently.
Shortly after, Mesha opened his eyes.
"Yes, Mom."
"There, wash your face first! The sky outside was getting dark. Don't forget to help me prepare dinner."
Mesha simply nodded to reply to the mother's words.
After cleaning the dining table and washing the dishes, Mesha returned to the room. He began to do some tasks from the take-home office. Feeling like someone was watching, the girl looked around. However, empty. There was nothing, just himself and a stack of papers in front.
Drowsiness began to attack Mesha. But he still hasn't finished his job. Girls who are tenacious and diligent like him, prefer to finish the job first, rather than sleep. So he decided to make a cup of black coffee. It worked! That black liquid, capable of relieving drowsiness.
At exactly eleven in the evening, Mesha had already finished the pile of papers before him. Strange, he was not sleepy. Gadia stood up, stretched for a moment, then walked towards the kitchen to put down the empty cup.
The night was so quiet, there was no sound whatsoever. Mesha to the back of the house and sit by the pool. His favorite place when he feels bored, worried or even sad. The movement of the girl's eyeballs, following the motion of the swimming fish. Even observe the flippers and tail twitching.
Mesha was shocked, as a hand patted him on the shoulder. With a reflex, the girl turned her face.
"Why haven't you slept yet, Nduk?" A heavy voice typical of men, heard from a man in a glove and wearing a white tee shirt.
"Can't yet, sir. Echa had done something. Uh, it's not even sleepy."
Then the man sat down next to Mesha.
"Working there, Nduk?" ask Bagas.
"Yes .. how else, sir. Echa has chosen, yes it must be pursued. right?"
"Yes Nduk. You know, that's a trait you like. Keep it that way, take responsibility for what you've chosen."
Mesha nodded his head repeatedly.
"Yes already. I want to go in again, you too. Don't be outside!"
Mesha nodded again.
The night is getting late. Realizing that tomorrow still has dependents, Mesha forces to close his eyes. He was lying on his bed. The girl began to fall asleep when the first cock crowing sounded.
Mesha dreaming. In his dream, he once again saw the figure he thought was Zay. Only, he always saw the silhouette of the man. Can't see his face. The thing that made him think that it was Zay, a circular bracelet on the figure's wrist.
"Zay! Zayy!" Mesha began to call out the figure in the dream. But as if not hearing, the figure continued to walk far away. Mesha's hand kept trying to reach him.
When Mesha managed to reach the figure, he was stunned. The girl instead recognized the figure as Sakha with her trademark smile.
"Mas Sa—" More surprisingly, that face quickly changed into a pale-skinned, black-head-bound male face. Mesha retreated in fear. The grin on that face, made Mesha even more horrified.
"Go! Don't come near me!"
Mesha's shout made Mayang and Bagas run closer to his room.
Mayang banged on the door of the room while calling out the name Mesha. A few beats, but no answer. That made Mayang worried. In the end, Bagas broke down the door.
Mayang saw Mesha lying with his eyes closed, but his mouth kept screaming. He roused his daughter and hugged the girl.
"Wake, Nduk! Wake up!" he said it sounded full of worry.
