The Stupid of Laweyan's Shoulder

The Stupid of Laweyan's Shoulder
CHAPTER 19: Two Worlds.

"What does Grandpa want from me?" ask Zayan a second time.

Nirwasita developed a smile on her lips. His eyes stared softly, then he laughed.

"What do you have, so I want it?" Nirwasita stroked her beard which was also white, still with a hint of laughter on her lips.

"Let's see, Mother, who I know of beings like this Grandfather instead of always asking for rewards for every request granted." Zayan averted his gaze from the figure standing in front of him.

Nirwasita's laughter grew louder, Zayan jumped in shock.

"Is Grandpa not offended by my words? Laughing even harder. Surprise me, Cake!" zayan said while stroking his chest.

"You are a funny man. But yeah, a good question, why am I angry?"

Nirwasita was still stroking her beard, this time her laughter stopped. He walked then opened a hole glowing like a portal, with a wooden stick he was holding.

"Come, come with me again!" bring Nirwasita.

"Ta—but, Cake ...." Zayan still hesitated with Nirwasita's invitation, he seemed to be looking for an excuse to avoid.

Suddenly Nirwasita pulled Zayan's hand into the hole.

"Thank the pancen kebangetan boy! Still can't believe it!" his gerrick.

Zayan was forced to follow the old man in front of him, because he had already entered it. He was amazed to see the passage through, the walls were like they were made of a colorful glow. It's amazing, and hard to believe.

Before long, Nirwasita stopped her steps, and so did Zayan. Now, Zayan was really more captivated by the sight that was presented before his eyes. A small wooden hut that stood firmly under a huge towering tree. The surrounding land looks so beautiful with a stretch of green grass. The hallway of light behind them, had already disappeared.

"Hmm, welcome to my home!" Nirwasita walked ahead of Zayan who was still standing dumbfounded behind her.

Nirwasita laughed, then continued the previous saying, "Yes, humans are the highest beings, but this is what our nation can do with the grace we have."

Zayan remained silent and followed Nirwasita to a bench in the courtyard of the log cabin.

"Don't ask where this place is, obviously, not in the world you live in. But the world is side by side with the human world" added Nirwasita.

"But what did Grandpa mean to bring me here?" Zayan looked around still with a feeling of admiration.

"Just want to show you who I am!" sahut Nirwasita, then suddenly his body turned into a large Alap-alap bird, with white feathers grooved gray in the neck and wings. He flew at high speed. Zayan raised his head to look at another sight that was no less magical.

After Nirwasita, who was in the form of a flying eagle and circled above Zayan, he swooped down and landed, then changed to his original form, a silver-haired grandfather. Then, he walked up to Zayan who was still sitting on the bench with a stunned facial expression. Again Nirwasita laughed.

"Have you seen anything like this before, Le?" Nirwasita asked Zayan as she took a seat next to the young man.

"Yes, Cake. Was Grandpa always that way?"

"Snap, depending on the conditions. But I like the form of my Godhead" said Nirwasita.

Then Nirwasita continued her words again,

"Then, when I took this form, a man was aiming at me with something that made me fall and limp. But Arsyanendra, managed to expel the man, and saved me. The man took care of me until I could fly again."

"ah! So the bird that saved that ... Apparently Grandpa?" sela Zayan's.

"Yes! I was indebted to him, Back then, my strength was limited. To save yourself you can't!" nirwasita.

Unintentionally, Nirwasita's eyes caught a circular object on Zayan's wrist.

"The bracelet ...." Nirwasita pointed at the object that shifted her focus earlier.

"Oh this, Cake? This is a loving mbahkung" explained Zayan.

Nirwasita laughed softly.

"We made it together, and it was supposed to be a pair, right?"

Nirwasita. Then he said, "Yes .. I know that, Arsyanendra told me that. I hope it's not a waste."

"I mean Grandpa, what?" ask Zayan again.

"Hmmm .. If the time comes, you'll know, Le!" Nirwasita again stroked her beard with her eyes closed.

Moments later, Nirwasita opened her eyes and stood up, then said, "It's time for you to go home, Le. It's not good for you too long here."

Nirwasita raised her wooden stick like drawing a large circle. Then a passageway of light was created from a circle made by Nirwasita.

Zayan walked into the hallway, and waved, Nirwasita replied with a nod and a smile.

"Bro, wake up bro! Why would you sleep here anyway?" Karman shook the body of Zayan who was sitting asleep under a tree.

Zayan woke up with a confused expression.

"Sleep? Me? How can?" ask Zayan.

"No, my neighbor sleeps under a tree!" karman replied sarcastically, then he continued, "Yes, yes! Who else!"

Still confused and astonished, Zayan stood up with Karman's help.

"So, I don't sleep anymore. But why sleep here?" revealed.

Karman shrugged both shoulders, a sign of not understanding what his friend was talking about.

"What was that, just a dream?" Zayan Mummings.

Zayan looked up, he saw a flying Alap spinning far up there. He smiled, while Karman was more astonished by the pain.

"Further class, Ms. Fatiya, Bro. Sampean want to come in?"

Zayan replied with his head still looking at the bird that was flying up there, "Yes, I'm coming in!"

"Wouldn't you expect yesterday's assignment?" ask Karman again.

Zayan's smile grew wider, then he looked at Karman.

"Udahlah! Although I often leave absent, the task is not left behind!" the answer.

"Kan .. I see to!"

"Can. Come on, find a place that you can hang out!" Zayan left Karman behind him.

"Hubliness! Heel!" gerutu Karman ran after Zayan as usual.

Zayan enjoyed a cup of black coffee with his favorite Javanese sugar, while Karman was busy writing something on a striped sheet of folio paper.

"The time has advanced, kok ya still told to write the hand anyway, ampuuuun!" sulk Karman.

"You don't know? That handwriting, sometimes reflects a person's character. That's what makes me salute Miss Fatiya!" timpal Zayan's.

The air around the campus cafeteria was cool and pleasant, and the type of drinks served matched Zayan's interests. No wonder, the canteen became another favorite place for Zayan.

"Geez, what dream did I have last night, until I met this cute guy!" pekik a girl who made Zayan and Karman compact turned her head in the same direction.
