After months of sadness, Mesha slowly began to rise from his slump. Smiles began to fill his lips again. His parents advised Mesha to get along with people his age. The girl began to get preoccupied with some youth activities in her village. Although his desire to study in college is still there, but he feels doubtful about the status he now holds. Who likes widows? Even the widow of flowers?
"Father has contacted an old friend of the father who works in the village. Later, you'll just meet him, Nduk." One afternoon Bagas did propose his only daughter to work, although only to make Mesha not constantly at home.
"But, Mr ... Echa still wants to go to college" Mesha said.
"Working while in college, you can. Anyway, what are high school girls for if the edges are just housewives, huh to?" Bagas was still adamant with his opinion.
"Already, Nduk. Just obey your father, after all there is no harm if you work and get your own money," Mayang said.
Mesha could no longer refute the words of his parents.
"Yes, tomorrow Echa comes to the village." Mesha closed the conversation, then went to the back porch.

Mesha looked at the silver and golden fish that swam here and there. The black haired girl sighed many times. For a moment he remembered his first encounter with Giyan near the fish pond. He smiled then as quickly as lightning his facial expression turned sad.
"It must be good so you are, fish. Just swim there, come here, eat, and bulge. No need to think about anything." Mesha's hand began to stir the pool water before him. The coolness of the water, makes her feel better.
Mesha's gaze came to a halt as he looked at the circular strand of beads on his wrist. Slowly he raised his hand, and gently rubbed the beaded seeds.
"Zay, do I have to keep looking for you?" he muttered to himself.

The next day, Mesha was tidy with a pastel-colored shirt suit and black pants. He grabbed a bag and walked out of the room.
"Breakfast first, Cha. You said you'd like to take you to the village office first." Mayang spoke in a loud voice from the dining room as he watched his daughter walk out of the room.
"Yes, ma'am," Mesha replied as she pulled a chair in the dining room for herself.
There was no sound in the dining room. Only the twang of the spoon clashed with the plate that sounded from there. It was as if everyone in the room was solemn' with food in front of each one.
After finishing breakfast, Bagas heated his motorbike on the porch of the house. Then he entered the house again to pick up the bag and tell Mesha, his daughter, to leave immediately.
Arriving in the village, Mesha got off the paternity motorcycle.tipped the middle-aged man's back hand, then walked into the office when his father left.
There's no one there yet. Mesha decided to look around. From a distance, a young man observed him and approached him.
"Good morning, Ma'am. What is there need?"
Mesha gasped when he heard the baritone voice behind him. He turned his face. There stood a man who looked authoritative, but saw from his face like not too far old age between men tesebut with Mesha.
"Ah, that ... Mr. Lurah hasn't come yet, has he?" sahut Mesha with a sweet smile curled on his lips.
"Maybe he'll be here soon. What interests are there, Ma'am?"
"I have a need with him, Mommy."
"Then, please sit down first, Ma'am!"
The man invited Mesha to sit in the front living room of the office.
It is true that, a few minutes later, a black car, entered the village office and parked smoothly in the corner of the parking lot. A middle-aged man in a khaki uniform got out of the car carrying a large black briefcase.
Mesha. The girl gave a short pause, so that the man who had just come was sitting in his work chair.
Mesha knocked on the door of Lurah's study politely. The man, who was sitting in the room, raised his head and smiled
"Lake in!" the man's orders.
Mesha reached out with a smile, which was then greeted by the man before him.
"Mr Mesha, huh? Please sit!"
Mesha nodded, then sat down at the designated spot.
"I'm Sutrisno, the lurah who served here. Your father called me last night. Incidentally there is a job vacancy here, it was held temporarily by someone, but when you are here. You're gonna take over the job."
Sutrisno lifts the intercom handle, then presses a number. Not long after, he spoke on the intra-room phone.
Before long, the young man Mesha had seen knocked on the door and entered the room. The man smiled at Mesha.
"Nah Mbak Mesha, this is Mas Sakha. He holds the administrative section of the temporary office, replacing the retired Ms. Norma. Well, since Ms. Mesha is here, the job is now your responsibility."
Mesha nodded after hearing Sutrisno's explanation.
"Please return to your respective workplaces, Mas Sakha alan show you your place, Ms. Mesha."
Mesha retreated, leaving the room following Sakha to where she later worked.
The employees of Karangsoka village office have started to arrive. Some of them, curious when they see the presence of Mesha in the room of their workplace. Sakha swiftly introduced the girl as a new employee when all the employees had arrived.
"Gee, Bu Norma's successor is young and beautiful!" yell one of them.
"Yes, walah .. walah, this is still drowning will be diligent work," said another.
"Hush, don't do that, later he doesn't even feel at home if digituin," another comment sounded.
Mesha just smiled in response to all the chatter of his co-workers.
"Don't take heart, Ms. Mesha. The people here are indeed lambe can not be braked. Oh yeah, meet me, I'm Risa. Marisa, take my seat." A girl approached Mesha and pointed to the table behind where Mesha was sitting.
"Oh .. i—iya, Ms. Risa."
Sakha approached Mesha's table with a few maps in her hand.
"Sir, these are some of the files that will later become the responsibility of Ms. Mesha." The man passed by after putting the pile on Mesha's table.
Mesha scrunched his forehead looking at the map in front of him.
"Ta—but, Mas .. sorry, can you tell me what to write or do with these maps?"
Mesha's words stopped Sakha's steps. Then he turned around, then smiled.
"Okay, I'll teach you later, Ma'am."
