The Stupid of Laweyan's Shoulder

The Stupid of Laweyan's Shoulder
Chapter 14: The First Night.

"I accepted his marriage and marriage, Mesha Indira bint Bagas Pramudya with the mentioned mascawin, paid in cash!"

A loud, firm voice and in one breath Giyan blared through the loudspeaker. Moments later, the ruler asked the witnesses, "How is the audience, legitimate?"

"Well!" answer witnesses and attendees simultaneously.

"Alhamdulillah ..." said the ruler who then recited the prayer.

"Well, now, please call the bride yes, to fill out these documents," asked the ruler after he finished reciting prayers for the two brides.

Mesha walked gracefully, towards the place where the Ijab-kabul took place, accompanied by Mayang and Maryam on the right and left.

Mesha kissed Giyan's hand, as she sat next to the man who had become her husband. Giyan's eyes really can not be separated from the figure of Mesha, he was getting excited when he kissed Mesha's forehead.

"Sik to Mas, patience .. kecap kecupnya later tonight only," kelakar penghulu make the audience laugh boisterously.

As Mesha's eyes looked at Giyan's blissful eyes, he felt even more guilty towards the man. His heart has not yet melted, love has not even grown, even though he has heard Giyan's voice loud and firm, when kabul earlier. Mesha quickly lowered his head, he could not stand it anymore, looking at the two eyes that glowed with love.

After pairing the wedding rings with each other, the two brides signed several documents and marriage certificates. Then, they took pictures together while showing off a small book with a different color. Of course, Mesha smiled, even if forced.

The event then continued with a custom procession, Mesha and Giyan were led into the house, to change clothes with a wet model.

Mesha again felt the stinging heat on his left back, when the paester began to change the clothes he was wearing.

"Ouch!" moaned Mesha, which made Giyan hurriedly turn her face away.

"Why, Deck?" asked Giyan from a distance.

"It's okay, Mum."

Paes observed a sign on Mesha's left shoulder and began to ask, "Sir, this ... has there been a long time?"

"What, Mom?" tanya Mesha did not understand.

"Birthmark, Ma'am. The color is reddish-brown," replied the paes while gently pressing the birthmark in question.

"Aww, yes, ma'am. It's a birthmark, but lately it's been hot and painful, somehow ..." cut Mesha.

"But if you use basahan, this will later look like Mbak, I just close ya use makeup?"

"Yes, Mom."

Then the interpreter continued his work of pairing up all the attributes of the wet, and fixing Mesha's makeup.

Meanwhile, Giyan was already sitting facing Mesha who was being polished, he was actually falling more and more in love with his wife, Mesha.

Mesha felt that someone was watching, as the paesan was affixing something to cover his birthmark. Slowly, he turned his head and found Giyan looking at him with a smile.

"Why the hell, Mas? Is there anything strange?" ask Mesha in a troubled tone.

"There's nothing, just being happy and lucky to have a wife as beautiful as you, Mesha."

"What, anyway?" sahut Mesha's.

The two fairies smiled at the conversation of the newlyweds. To them, Giyan's words sounded romantic, and Mesha's reaction was considered reasonable, as it was still timid.

Gending Kebo Giro accompanies the traditional procession held at the Bagas residence. The audience with hidmat watched the procession step by step until it was finished. At the end of the event, guests began to greet the two brides, and enjoy the dishes that had been prepared.

Some of Giyan's office friends, even donated special songs on that happy day. As for Mesha, none of his friends had come but Zafia who had accompanied him since yesterday.

"Sir, your friend was taken pictures, right?" sela Giyan after some of her office friends took pictures together.

"I don't have any friends, Mas" Mesha replied briefly with a dislike expression. "No, friend!" he pointed to Zafia.

"Sorry, Dek .. I don't mean ...."

"No need to apologize, Mom."

As a child, Mesha did not have any friends. Only Zafia was willing to make friends when she went to Wijayakusuma High School. Although Mesha's face is fairly beautiful with high academic value. However, again, only Zafia is what makes Mesha comfortable with "friendship".

The day is getting late, the frenzy begins to decrease, guests are rare, even some chairs have begun to be cleaned. Mesha sat in his room, sipping a cup of ginger tea that he requested from the kitchen, with the help of Zafia. He feels unwell, or may be tired, and hopes a cup of ginger tea can be refreshing.

"Shaaaa .. I say yes," interrupted Zafia who had changed clothes.

Mesha turned his face away, who was still wearing makeup, put the cup on the dressing table, and stood up to welcome the cipika cipiki from Zafia.

"Not looking forward to the night, Fi?"

"Weh, how to? I'm disturbing the newlyweds" replied Zafia.

"What the hell?" mesha Tukas.

"Once again, happy new life, Sha. I can only pray for happiness for your married life .." said Zafia while holding Mesha's hand.

"Thank you, Fi. Thanks for everything. Uh but if I want to play with you again, even though I'm married, it's okay?"

"Our husband allows, no problem ..." concluded Zafia while hugging Mesha, then waved and walked outside.

The night was getting late, the Bagas residence was getting quieter, only a few people were still staying to clean up the trash, and the utensils were dirty. By midnight, the atmosphere in the house was getting quieter.

In the living room, the few remaining people were still chatting, including both Mesha's parents and her husband, Giyan. As for Mesha, he had already bid farewell to the room first, to rest.

"There, Le .. rest with your wife, talk tomorrow again, don't you want your wife's nemony? Kasian right, the first night, left alone ..." kelakar Mayang as he mocked his son-in-law.

"Yes, Mom. If so I say goodbye, want some clean first and rest," said Giyan timidly.

In the room, Mesha lay in pajamas, his face and hair as clean as usual. He was so nervous he played his fingers. The heat on his left shoulder reappeared, but he held it back.

As the door of the room opened, Mesha closed her eyes, pretending to be asleep. Long closed his eyes, he found no one approaching or going up to the bed. He opened his eyes, curious.

Mesha was aghast, he saw Giyan standing in front of the door as if frozen, in front of him, stood another figure, dressed all in black. The figure then turned towards Mesha, his pale face adorned with a cruel grin.

"Who is that?" ask Mesha in fear.

Instantly the man dressed in all black pulled out something that looked like a dagger, and thrust right into Giyan's chest.

"Ja—jangaaaann!" shout Mesha.

But too late, Giyan had already collapsed while holding her chest, even though no blood was pouring from there.

The man dressed in black laughed triumphantly and said, "This is my reply, for daring to marry my bride!"

Then the man turned into smoke and vanished.

Mesha leaped from the bed, approaching Giyan who was in pain holding onto her chest. Strange, no daggers or anything stuck in there.

"Dek ..." muttered Giyan as she reached for Mesha.

"Mas! Gi Mas! Please ... anyone, please!" yelled Mesha who began to sob.

Mesha held Giyan's head, then the man muttered softly, "My wife ... I. love .. mu!" Then Giyan closed her eyes.

"Mass? Gi Mas?"
