The Story of Sigma Men

The Story of Sigma Men

Zahid continued reading. In him still tucked folds of aggravation.

The letters she read were fighting with the voices of the women. The sound came without him inviting her.

His heart seemed to be intervening. He struggled to erase his memories, but could not. Which science lover is willing after his science is made fun of?

He stood up and started to leave the library which was starting to get crowded.

Other students filled empty seats. His third step stopped.

His eyes saw something that caught his attention. He was watching the book, the woman forgot to take him.

Zahid doesn't care. He swung back with the alon of both legs. Three meters away, his heart commanded something.

Its body rotates one hundred and eighty degrees in the direction of the Earth's rotation. He approached the former seat of the woman who was still warm.

He took the novel. Written Clear “Mega Best Seller”. Padang Bulan's. He thought “Andrea Hirata” was the title of his book, so great that writing. The name of the author is not foreign even for those who are not happy with literature though.

Zahid brought the book. His pity was covered with a sense of care. He wanted to return the book, but he didn't know where the lady's class was.

He never read a novel. Never mind that, even he never read poetry, beautiful words, and the like. He doesn't seem to know the term beauty.

His curiosity spilled.

He opened one of the pages of the novel, staking out the letters, trying to find the meaning that was revealed to him. For no more than a minute, he closed the novel.

The sun stands half sky, sort of a flag half mast. The light smelled the faces of the students.

The shine of the sun hovered over the earth. The heat that began to stir them. Many of them went out of class because the first hour was over.

The fir trees adorn the campus buildings. The leaves wander because of the wind. Rerumputan greening atmosphere.

The slightly blazing sensation combined with the coolness of the rushing wind. Zahid was entrenched around the campus building, both with his shadow, waiting if only the woman showed her nose.

He delves into his memory realm and digs into his memories. By her compulsion she finally remembered, that she had once been scolded by a woman, to whom she was: beautiful, sweet, elegant, well-proportioned, her lips red without any lipstick; lips that tasted with temptation; lips puffing with a persuasive touch, nose pointed for the class of Indonesian, eyes sparkling, chin quite taper, must be smart, and... FIERCE plus SANGAR!!!

Yes, the woman, he thought.

Zahid found something tucked away in the middle of the book. There are two folded sheets of paper. He won't read it.

But his heart continued to be pounced on by curiosity. The sense of wonder is increasingly bubbling.

He hammered, decided, and sure, read the contents of the two sheets of paper. He wished there was a woman's identity. Yep. That elegant woman! The woman who is able to get rid of the time-consuming problem, the woman who has been treating her heart, so that it is slightly free from the burdens of life.

Zahid read his reading. On the paper it says:

It turns out that guy's a bookworm.

Oh, I want to know what his name is.

But it's impossible. There's no way I'm approaching him.

After all, he had already been irritated by his taunts the other day.

He mocked literature.

Just watch. I'll reply later.

Today he wears a black shirt and black jeans. He is very handsome today, seen from his combed hair, a little neat when compared to the first time he met.

How come he doesn't exist?! Maybe after college. She must be eating in the cafeteria with her friends.

Why isn't he coming too?! Huuu.

For today he also did not come to the library. Where is that madman? Where is that freak?

Hmmm.. turned out he took the start first for the break time now. The Handsome Cheating. Just watch! Tomorrow is like the same hour I'll get here first.

He was always busy reading. Uh. look here dong. Maybe I should approach him? Ah. it's impossible. I'm a girl.

He again went to the shelf of books of pure science. Hmm. If not chemistry, it must be physics. He's a candidate for a scientist, maybe. Now, he was again sitting in the same chair, just like yesterday. Down again. Still looking down. And now, he tried to shift his gaze. Ah.. he just confirmed his seat, it turns out.

This afternoon he was wearing a T-shirt. Oh... a reflection of which major student she is? But, his face that looks innocent indicates that he must be a good person.

That crazy guy is a bookworm. What the hell is on his mind? I'm curious. Who are you, strange man?

Today he was not excited. He needs entertainment. Now is the right time. But, it's impossible

It is impossible to approach him. I'm shy. I am really ashamed.

I'm really excited for today. I'm sure I'll talk to him later. If not, until when my admiration is buried. Oh, I don't know who he looks like? He filled the emptiness of my heart. This hour pisses me off. He's not coming either. Where the hell is he?

Today he wears a batik shirt. Yep. On Friday. He rarely rests in the cafeteria. Spend more time in this library. Though he was a man. Oh. what a mysterious man.

Silence is charming. Does she have a boyfriend? Hmm. I hope I don't have.

I never caught his eye. Every time I looked at him he always looked down diligently with the reading.

So cute. Nevermind! I just continue reading. Nor did he know that I was watching him.

Huu... Who the hell is that guy? Relax Rani, that guy is just a crazy and weird guy. Stop thinking. Stop glancing at him. He's indifferent to you.

After all, he had once mocked the beauty of literature. The cold guy's a jerk. He's a loser. C'mon Rani! There are many college tasks that you must complete. Your novel has not been khatam. Your friends are willing to leave you in the cafeteria, while you are here alone, enjoying the indifference of it. Keep her! Keep him out of your mind!

Today he is different. Really am. How different! I was amazed by that crazy guy. Oh... When am I like this? I need to talk to him. But, still impossible! Comeon! How-how??

He has not come for two days. She how are you?

One hour he's here.

For today, it must work! Don't be like yesterday! I've been loving him. Pas! He and I have no class at this time.... Again, he kept silent. I never once saw him smile. I'll make him smile. Yep. He should smile. Go Rani! The spirit! ... But, still, she was indifferent, cold, not turning her head in this direction!.. Now!

***

Zahid smiled crisply, but the woman did not see him. He was flabbergasted, not expecting.

He did not know in the slightest that he was being covertly admired.

That lady. That elegant woman! The emotional woman seemed to hold a sense of awe, he thought.

The contents of his soul were filled with clumps of strange shadows, something that made his heart comfortable.

After reading the two sheets of paper, his heart suddenly flowered. Segalon's cheer poured down profusely and lingered on his white face.

An expanding smile thrives on both of his lips. Eyes twinkling.

The woman's face rolled in her eyes. The mockery and teasing of the woman was buried, some sort of evaporation of the sea water, the water evaporated, and the salt was like the woman's face with a million sensations of charm.

Zahid walked quickly, weaving among the murmurs of the students. He tucked away avoiding a body collision with another student.

Her half hair was floating. His eyes were shining on every woman around him. He looked excited, so energetic.

He still holds the book. He kept looking for Rani–the name on the paper.

Sometimes he asked the students who were there. But most of them don't know him.

All this time ragged to the corners of the building, he was exhausted, tired. He was stuck in a chair outside the classroom.

If she meets Rani, she immediately gives her best smile, which is what Rani expects.

Meanwhile in the library.

“Kok no?!” rani Gumam.

“So where did you put it?” ask friend.

“Yes on this table, Princess.”

“Lantas where is the book? Cook missing?!” said another friend.

“Cannot be lost.” Rani said to her two friends.

“You too, Rani, why not jump around anyway if you want to come here?”

“I'm sorry, Weny. I again want to be alone.”

“Now, do you still want to be alone?” princess ketus.

“Ya, sorry.”

Rani's face looks gloomy after being scolded by the man she considers kind and quiet and then must lose her novel. If the loan book is really gone, then he must replace it.

The three of them sat in series. Then alternately look at each other. Then stand still. Then wander around the library, if only the book was still there.

“That guy?” rani asked with a murmur. “Surely he stole it.”

“Who?” ask the curly-haired woman.

“Man earlier, Princess. But I don't know where his class is. For sure he's not on FKIP.”

“You know his name?”

“No, Put. But I remember his face. Not wrong again.”

This is the character of Rani: likes to assume, more precisely called free speculation. He was half-confident that the man had stolen it, since only that man was sitting nearby.

After a few minutes, they went outside the library. Right in front of his class, Rani sees Zahid sitting while reading his novel.

Rani walked quickly ahead of her two friends as if a runner twenty meters away touched the finish line. He was excited and impatient to put up with the man he was accused of stealing.

His eyes were glaring, the grin on his face was thickly wrapped.

Rani's distance is getting closer to Zahid. While Zahid was cunning while living his first novel. Rani suspects the man must be mocking her novel and laughing at literature.

Rani was just getting upset. Can't wait for him to launch his chat rocket right into the ears of guy–weird and crazy–it.

Zahid heard the sound of a decent foot grabbing his attention so that his eyes ran to the right. He caught the figure of a woman who admired him, and vice versa.

She began posing with her best smile to satisfy the desire of the woman wearing the blue rooster.

He saw Rani's long hair unraveling, there was a hemisphere in the middle.

Because it pushes the wind, Rani's hair snaps backwards and flies into the air.

Just like Kristen Stewart was standing on the beach, displaying an interesting spectacle at that time.

The third meeting of the eyes was warm. More precisely HOT!

Zahid uploaded his best smile right towards the two eyes of Rani. And Rani swerved, then replied with words, saying,

“BASIC JERK! A thief! Restore my novel!”

Zahid further developed his smile.

“Hei Crazy Man! You have no shame, huh?” rani Benthic.

Zahid relaxed his smile a little.

“Basic Strange Man! Scientists Fail! Here, give me back my novel!”

Zahid further removed his smile.

“You are! There's no feeling! Not content to make fun of it, you stole my novel. Now, what do you want again?”

Zahid's smile was completely gone. His mouth was like a lohan fish.

“Novelku.” Rani forcibly took her novel from Zahid's trembling hands. “It's gone! Your faculty is not here.”

“Sorry.”

Zahid sighed. He stood up, then swung both of his legs with an alon. He came over happily to bring a smile of his best to Rani.

But, he came home disappointed, and without a smile.

Rani highlights Zahid's back from a distance. She's a crybaby, “Ha ha ha.”

Rani lands her ass on the chair, then picks up the pen that was in the bag.

He took out two sheets of paper in the middle of his book, but the paper was no longer in the middle of the book, had already moved places, the mark had already been seen before. Then he wrote something.

Rani goes speeding after Zahid. He paid no heed to the two friends who stood up while denying it. He wandered through the path.

Her hair was back in the air. With enthusiasm, Zahid's spirit when looking for it earlier. He was energetic, as Zahid had been looking for him earlier.

“Hei!” peekit Rani's.

Zahid stopped his journey. He looked at the woman who had already cursed him. Mouth gasping.

“This.” Rani gave the two pieces of paper to Zahid. “Read!”

Zahid read what he had read. Of course not fun anymore to do what has been done before, plus again because of the events just now.

But willingly he obeyed Rani's will.

“The bottom. The end.”

Zahid held the second paper with his fingers. He flipped it over and took off his eyes to the bottom of the link, focusing on the sentence he had only seen for the first time. Yep. It was just written by Rani.

Zahid looked for the meaning of that last sentence. It didn't take long to look at him. The word slipped and knocked on the door of his heart.

He's stunned.

The order of words he had read ten seconds ago had already been scratched in the recesses of his soul.

It read: After weeks, I finally saw him smile.
