Pras was pensive after Cheva left him alone. He was still impressed by what Cheva said
"Without feet and no money?" Pras muttered with blank eyes while staring at the light blue blanket of the hospital that covered his legs which was now only half part. He gripped the blanket tightly while starting to shed tears
"What should I do now? He must have lied. It's impossible for my family to go bankrupt. Well right, he must have deliberately lied to me. I'd better get out, I'm tired of always being in the room. I'll be leaving this hospital soon anyway"
Pras wiped his tears and pressed a button near his bed to call the nurse to help him get closer to the wheelchair
Teeett
"Do you need anything?" A nun entered her room and asked politely to Pras
"Yes, I want to go for a walk, can you help me move to a wheelchair?" Pras asked the sister in a calm manner
"Sure" Sister immediately helped him bring the wheelchair closer to Pras' bed. Then slowly and very carefully Pras began to move his own body into a wheelchair
"Want me to drop off?" Ask the nurse who was still standing behind her wheelchair and wanted to help Pras by pushing her wheelchair
"no need. I can be on my own, I'll just take a walk for a while" Pras replied with a cold attitude
"All right then. I'm going back to my job" Sister left Pras alone and let him push her own wheelchair
"What did you say?! it is impossible for such a large cost to be incurred! You guys must be lying, right? My son is only here for almost 1 month only and the cost is almost 300 million? It's called blackmail"
As Pras was crossing the information table to go to a part of the park, he saw people crowding with a commotion. He recognized the voice that made the commotion
"Isn't that your mom's voice? What's going on?" Pras who was curious began to approach the crowd and find out what really happened
"Mrs, forgive us. Your son occupies the VIP room and it costs up to several million for 1 night only. Not to mention the medicines and tools your son uses. It is not cheap equipment and not a drug that can be found in public pharmacies. And also your son is in therapy so he can get used to his current situation"
The nurse tried to explain to Astria the reason why Pras needed the cost is very expensive
"But how can this cost be paid off as soon as possible? If I don't get paid my son can't get out of this hospital right?!" Astria seeks clarity of what might happen
"Because your son can already go home, so you have a deadline for his payment. If not, then your son's hospital costs will swell" the nurse spoke in a calm manner. He tried hard not to get emotional
"Alright, I understand" Astria left the information desk to contact Adnan
"Are you crazy?! Where can we get that kind of money while the company is also on the edge?!" Adnan was quite surprised by what Astria said. Because the company's shares are now increasingly plummeting and the deadline for bank payments will soon arrive
"But big brother, I don't have that kind of money either! My money and my husband's money I've put into the company to add to the lack of our previous investment!" Astria was heard to panic after hearing that there was no money to pay for her son's medical expenses
"You calm down, we'll figure out a way to get that money"
"Sister had to help me get the money I still needed a lot of money for Pras therapy so that he could do the activity without the help of others"
Without Astria knowing, Pras listened in one corner of the hospital. Her tears started to flow and her hand holding the wheelchair wheel started to tremble violently
"So ... What does the woman say is true? If my family is having economic difficulties and soon will go bankrupt? What am I supposed to do? I can't go to college, I can't find a job like this either"
Pras returned glumly by staring at his feet which now can only use a wheelchair. He continued to roll his wheels aimlessly with tears constantly flowing. He did not care about the people who started to look at him curiously
Slowly and with the wheels of his chair continuing to roll, he arrived at the elevator and went straight into it. In the elevator there was only Pras himself, no one else knew that he pressed the button to the top of the building, Pras rolled back his chair wheel slowly until he arrived at the edge of the building, From there it was seen many other buildings and many vehicles that were carried. Both parked and passing in and out of the hospital which is one of the largest hospitals in the city.
"Why would I live if I live like this? How do I live in a wheelchair with no money and nothing to do on my own? I can't do anything on my own and no one will want to help a disabled person like me. I survived because I thought you could find a way out for me, but if you don't have money either?" Batin Pras began to doubt and worry about what would happen after his family broke up
Dirty thoughts also began to penetrate Pras' brain that is confused
"Based on disability, now you can't be arrogant anymore. What will you boast of after your family has no money and influence? You don't even have a kakl"
"really. How can you survive without legs and without money? You're just gonna be the trash of a society that can't do anything without someone else's help"
"Are you going to beg on the street to get the mercy of others? Or will you be a scrap collector? Including waiting for leftovers?"
"No! That's not gonna happen?! That can't happen to a Pras!" Pras shook his head many times refusing what he thought to be true.
He kept imagining the scorn of the people towards him when they found out that his family was broke. Even he thought about how people would ostracize him and demean him. He started to fear himself for what he was thinking. How people look and what they will talk about about it that has always been respected for having money and power
His mentally unstable due to losing a leg, coupled with hearing that his family who had always given anything he asked for was now on the verge of bankruptcy, make Pras mental fall and can not think clearly. Slowly he pushed his wheel to the edge of the building. The barrier that only used a wall with an adult knee height, could still be reached easily even though he used a wheelchair. Pras uses the power of his hand to climb the barrier. With tears she stared down the building. Seeing people passing by and cars that occasionally also in and out of the hospital
"I can't live like this. While everyone can walk and chase the dreams they want, I'm stuck in this wheelchair with nothing to do. I don't want to live with the scorn of people. They will humiliate me and insult me for not having money and legs. I don't wantuuu!!! Aaaaay!!!"
