Farewell Kenzie And Meisya

"Sister Zie, can we meet for a minute? Brother must have heard from papa that I will continue to study abroad. Let's just say this is our farewell before I leave"

Kenzie was speechless reading the short message Meisya had sent him. He just stared at his phone without sending a reply.

“Meet? What else to talk about?” thought Kenzie was considering the message Meisya had sent him.

After quite a while, Kenzie sent Meisya a short reply and was willing to meet.

“Good. Send me the location. I'll meet you there”

“Yes, I'll wait for Kak Zie at the restaurant where we used to have lunch. The location is not too far from Kak Zie's office, so I guess it doesn't matter”

“Alright, see you”

Kenzie bathes every Meisya message with a short answer. He did not write pleasantries or try to prolong their conversation.

“Noey, I'll be out for lunch. If there is anything important you can contact me” directly

“Eh? Already changed your mind? Don't want lunch?” Noey looked at Kenzie in surprise.

“ I'll see Meisya briefly”. Kenzie spoke while wearing the suit he had placed on top of the hanger. He grabbed a cell phone placed on the table.

Kenzie immediately turned to leave Noey with a gloomy look. There was no sense of pleasure at all visible from his face, even though he would meet the person he loved.

“Go out of the country? Yes maybe this is indeed a better decision for all of us” Kenzie thought during the trip. He kept thinking about what he should do while being with Meisya later. However

he had absolutely no thought of re-establishing a relationship with Meisya.

Before long, Kenzie arrived at the restaurant Meisya meant. He walked in with a calm and dignified attitude. Kenzie swept every corner of the restaurant as soon as he walked inside. His gaze was locked on

a girl sitting in one of the chairs by the window.

Meisya who saw Kenzie's arrival immediately waved her hand with a smile on her lips. Kenzie walked right up to him.

“Sorry to make you wait” said Kenzie while pulling the chair in front of Meisya.

“No papa. I haven't been here long either. Brother Zie want to order what? Do I need to order the usual food you order?” Meisya was gentle and considerate towards Kenzie, but Kenzie responded with a cold and indifferent attitude.

“No need. After this, I still have a meeting I have to attend” replied Kenzie in a cold manner.

“So yeah? Looks like ... In some time we did not meet, Brother Zie has changed a lot?” Meisya smiled faintly as she looked at Kenzie who was acting coldly towards her.

Kenzie smiled cynically looking at Meisya with a glaring gaze

Meisya's tears were unstoppable at Kenzie's words. He lowered his head to hide his tears that were beginning to fall. His hands clenched tightly withstanding the pain he felt in his heart.

"Sister Zie, is there no chance? Can our relationship be repaired? We both love each other, why not waste a little bit of our selfishness on rebuilding everything?"

Meisya spoke on the sidelines of her sobs. He clasped Kenzie's hand on the table very tightly, trying to persuade Kenzie to mend their relationship.

Slowly Kenzie took off Meisya's hand with a sad look on her face.

"I'm sorry. I can't do that anymore. I hope you understand and accept my decision. This is the best for us. I'm sure there must be other men who are better than me and can make you happy".

Meisya's tears were flowing down her cheeks. His head grew even more bowed at Kenzie's refusal. She wiped her tears.

"Haah, yeah, I know. Maybe it can't anymore. I wish you all the best for Zie. I hope Brother Zie can find a girl who can accept Kak Zie as she is. I hope Brother Zie is always happy" said Meisya who tried her hardest to smile.

"Yes, thanks".

Not wanting to linger any longer, Kenzie immediately looked at his watch and reasoned that he could leave Meisya.

"Sorry, Yes. I can't stay long. I still have meetings, so I'll go first".

"Oh, yeah okay. Goodbye, Brother".

Meisya tried to smile despite the force and reached out her hand to shake hands with Zie.

"Yes, good-bye".

Kenzie immediately turned away leaving Meisya who was still staring at his departure with teary eyes.

"Sorry, Yes. I don't want to continue a wasted relationship. So, goodbye" muttered Kenzie without looking at Meisya one bit
