Lunch Noey and Mariana

Mariana returned to her home after she returned from the hospital. How surprised he was when he got to his house.

“A-what are you doing here? Didn't you go to the police station?” mariana asked with a surprised face when she saw Noey was cleaning up her messy house because of Sean

“I'm just helping to clean up this mess. Once this is done, I will return to the office” Noey responded with an indifferent attitude

“Te-thanks” replied Mariana with her head bowed. She helps Noey tidy up his messy house

“Sama-sama” Noey also responded to Mariana. They continued to clean up Mariana's house without talking to each other and just focused until it was all over

“It's done. Then I will return to the office” Noey said when they were done with their work

“Ehm .. Would you like to have lunch with me first? Think of it as a thank you” said Mariana with a little hesitation.

“Alright .. but I don't think it's good if we eat out. How about a service message just drop by?” Noey suggested with his attitude

who was calm after seeing the condition of Mariana's face that was bruised and still slightly swollen. It would not be good for his reputation if there was someone who was aware of his existence with such a face.

“But .. I don't have enough groceries for both. Oh look, how about you wait here and I'll go briefly to a super market near here?” mariana asked with a gentle smile.

“I will accompany you to shop” said Noey who immediately put on his suit again

“But ..”

“Let's go” Noey did not give Mariana a chance to refuse and she immediately walked first

“Haah .. alright” Mariana put on a mask to cover part of her face and grabbed her little bag.

They both went to the super market which is located not far from Mariana's house and is still around the residential area.

“Do you have something you cannot eat?” mariana asked as they began to choose the groceries to buy.

“No, I can eat any” Noey replied briefly

“Good” Mariana smiled hearing that. Even though he was wearing a mask, it could still be seen that he was smiling.

“What do you want to buy? Let me help you choose it” said Noey who is now pushing Mariana's shopping trolley

“Vegetables, shrimp, hmn ..spice kitchen as well, and maybe some fruit for extra. Oh meat also” Mariana said with a soft tone. They looked relaxed and not like they had just met

“Alright, I'll help select it for you” Mariana nodded and they started choosing groceries. Mariana picked the item on the right and Noey on the left. They kept doing it until it didn't feel like their trolley was full

“Waah .. Why is it so full? Looks like I was just intending to buy groceries that we will just cook” Mariana looks confused when she saw the goods are very much

“Now, I don't understand” either Noey responded with a flat expression and both shoulders lifted together.

“Can I ask?” Noey looked a little hesitant as she wanted to ask Mariana

“Tell me!” mariana replied with a cheerful smile

“Why do you stick with your abusive boyfriend like that?” Mariana's steps stopped immediately. His facial expression changed immediately. He lowered his head after hearing the question from Noey

“We've been in a relationship for 2 years. At first he was not such a rude person. But a few months ago, she got a dismissal letter from her workplace. Since then he has started to change. He always thought that I would leave him because he wasn't working. She also started getting angry when I acted with male co-stars. Every time I come back from filming or he sees me doing scenes with male co-stars. I've wanted to end our relationship several times because of his rude attitude. But he'll get angry and hit me even more. A few days ago, I also asked her to end our relationship. He beat me up and told everyone that I had an affair with another man to the point that the release of my new movie was delayed. Luckily, Risha's mom helped me. If there is no him .. maybe I won't be able to get rid of him”

Mariana told me with a sad face. He also let out tears that could not be dammed again over the pain he felt so far. He also smiled brightly in the roar of tears that still continued to flow profusely.

“Not to be remembered anymore. Fucking guy like him doesn't deserve you to cry” Noey spoke while thrusting the handkerchief he took out of his pants pocket.

“Thanks. I'm sorry I told you this. We just met. You have helped me too. Once again, thank you” said Mariana after she wiped away the tears that ran down her cheeks.

“Hmn ... let's pay and get back to” Noey talks as he goes first to the cashier's table and pushes their grocery trolley. Mariana sped up her pace to be able to catch up to Noey and compensate

his big footsteps.

They returned after paying for their groceries. Noey brought his grocery office without letting Mariana carry 1 bag in his hand.

“Do you not need my help? This is a lot of money and it is definitely heavy. You brought 3 bags of groceries” Mariana tried to persuade Noey to let him carry one of their grocery bags.

“No need. It's nothing. I can still take her alone” Noey remained indifferent whenever responding to Mariana

“Good. Thanks"

“Until when will you thank me? You have said that many times to me” said Noey who looked at Mariana with a questionable gaze

“Ehm it .. because I am very grateful to you. I don't know what else to say to you other than thank you” Mariana responded shyly because she did realize she had repeatedly thanked Noey

“Already, let's go in and start cooking. I still have to go back to the office”

“Iya” Mariana nods her head accompanied

smile in response to Noey's words. He went straight into his house and walked to the kitchen to clean up his groceries.

“You can sit there first while I'll cook” Mariana pointed to the living room for Noey to wait there while watching television.

“Hmn ..” Noey just nodded his head without saying anything. He was waiting in the television room. He saw every photo of Mariana on display there.

“Cantik” muttered after looking through the photos, but the look in his eyes instantly turned sharp as he recalled the video from the surveillance camera that Risha had installed

“Stupid! You fucking jerk! 2 Gunshot wounds is still not enough for you. Men like you should also feel what it's like to be beaten all-out. How dare you swing your hard hand at a girl. Basic man doesn't know himself” murmured Noey with both hands clenched hard

"I'll definitely make you feel what it's like to be slapped and beaten. Just look at it later!"
