The Rising Of The Mage

The Rising Of The Mage
Chapter 15's

"Revenge you say?" Goruru said with eyes almost out.

The other Goblins had the same face, they were so shocked by what Yudi had just said.

"Yes, I don't accept people from my friends being slaughtered like this. I hate people like them."

Goobu, who had heard the conditions proposed, and heard the Mage's words, said confidently.

"I accept all those conditions, if any of you want to protest raise your hands!"

All the Goblins who heard Goobu say, whispered to each other. Everything was still undecided as to whether to trust someone from the Race who had slaughtered them.

"They still doubt you because they are from the Race that has slaughtered us, I still suspect you are targeting the position of the king's adviser. But since King Goobu accepts I will accept, what about you?"

Goruru glanced at those who were still confused to decide after saying that, after a while they finally found a decision and immediately replied.

"Wanting the position of the King's adviser invites concern. In fact, we were against the King for being too rash to take such a decision. But after rethinking it, seeing him accept your terms immediately means that you are so trusted by him. That's why we don't mind."

A Goblin elder representing the others expressed an opinion, Yudi was very happy because the terms put forward by him were acceptable. He was also determined to respect the trust the Goblins had placed in him.

"I'm happy that you're willing to grant me three terms, and then for the plan I'll convey. First! We'll make Starch Alas our territory, second I hear from some Goblins. If there's still a lot of Goblins out there in small groups scattered, right?"

Goruru immediately responded to what Yudi said.

"So you're planning on sending an envoy to them to join us, so that the village can be built quickly and we have a lot of troops!"

Yudi nodded with a smile, as Goruru could guess and explain what she was going to do. He nodded and added.

"What you're saying is very true, we must have a lot of energy to build it. We should also train them, because less than a month of the Holocaust is coming."

Everyone seemed to agree with what Yudi was planning, but Goobu immediately raised his hand.

"Sorry correcting, gathering energy is good but share it with the food supply. With the current amount we might last less than 15 days, how could we fill their stomachs while we're starving."

Gathering more people means increasing the number of pockets to fill, something like this cannot be underestimated. The stomach is a very important problem.

It is not uncommon for people of any race to kill each other to fill a pouch called the Stomach.

"I've considered it, if I don't have a solution. There's no way I'm telling you to gather them."

Goobu who understood the meaning of the word chimed in.

"If you have the solution, then don't hesitate to run it."

Goruru who had accepted the terms only shrugged, a sign that he also agreed to the Mage's plan. Then he conveys.

Getting a sharp statement from Goruru, Yudi smiled stiffly and replied.

"Yes, I'll do my job well."

After the atmosphere stiffened due to the discussion to decide on the appointment of Goobu, now normal again and they chatted again. Yudi got away from the Goblins and sat under an unsavory tree.

"For everyone, I thank you!"

It was Goruru who expressed her gratitude for the Mage, using the slave seal and asking Goobu to be king again as he wished. Although he felt stolen, because the mage immediately asked to be made an advisor to the King.

"I was planning on letting go of Goobu just like that, but I'm sure he wouldn't. I therefore take this way so that he will remain on both sides, to give you hope and be a source of strength for me."

Goruru grieved when he heard what Yudi had just delivered, the Goobu captain felt he had been cheated in the game he had made.

"In the end it all went your way, so explain to me why you wanted to be the King's advisor?"

Yudi who heard it immediately answered what was asked of him.

"I'd love to help her, to make amends for the mistakes she's made."

As the wind blew when Yudi said that, Goruru was stunned by what Yudi had just said. His mouth was too faint to insinuate the Mage, who thought he knew all about Goobu.

"The first time I saw her at the slave sale, her eyes showed that she was really depressed. At the time, I didn't know why he was showing it. I actually have the same eyes, but they're much emptier than I have."

Goruru who was upset because she had the thought that the person next to her was presumptuous, now fell silent when she heard the words spoken by Yudi.

"My first conversation and he happened while we were doing Grinding. He said that if I was better than a slave seller, I wanted to laugh and beat him up. But I saw that his eyes warmed, so I answered that I was not the same as the slave-seller who had caught him."

A strange sense of excitement stretched in the heart of Goruru, when he heard the speech or rather the outpouring of the heart of the mage who told about his king.

"She asked to see you, and I granted her. When he first revealed that the mound was a tomb, I wanted to laugh big but it was not because he was looking at him so gratefully. I finally realized that it was true, there I was annoyed by what the Merchant had done. Then the next thing you came and got here. I decided to help him rebuild the village, so trust me, Goruru!"

Yudi who had finished conveying his outpouring of heart, looked at Goruru who had a guilty face. Because I misjudged the person next to me.

‘I didn't expect a few days with Mr. Goobu, he could know that much. It is only fitting that Mr. Goobu trusts him so much.’

"Yes because I have also agreed to it so how else, you should keep the promise not to use your power arbitrarily."

"I promise to honor what you have entrusted."

After hearing that Goruru stepped away from the Mage, his face revealed a smile after knowing the true intentions of Yudi

'Mr. Goobu has met a really good person. Thank you Dewi Sri, for bringing the two of them together.'
