The Rising Of The Mage

The Rising Of The Mage
Chapter 13

Food and drink were served in front of them, the Goblins happily filling their mouths with food that Yudi and Goobu had brought. The atmosphere seemed so lively, because there was a figure who they longed for the arrival of their King.

"We're very happy, you survived!"

"Praise the goddess Sri! He's still giving his blessing."

Goobu looked at them kindly, her hand rubbing the head of one of the little Goblins who asked like that.

"Thanks to your prayer, I can endure thanks for praying for my salvation."

The little goblin that was rubbed on his head by Goobu concluded his lips. He was very happy when the King spoiled him. However, the female Goblin was next to him. Puffing his cheeks cutely, when he saw his friend got such treatment.

"That's not fair! Why is he the only one to wipe, I want to!" Grumpy the girl Goblin boy.

Sweat dripped on Goobu's temple because it made the girl envious, so she also immediately rubbed the child while saying.

"I also thank you, for praying for me!"

"Hahah Yeah, same Master! I'm glad to be able to help, when you need help I'm ready to help!" Say the girl happy!

"I'm ready to help, too, sir! If it's against the enemy, I'm ready to fight on the front lines."

The interaction of the three is very exciting and invites a smile among the Goblins. Then some of the other children came closer and they laughed together. Yudi who saw the children was happy, and her friend had such a face joined in smiling.

'You finally showed me your smile, but now I'm confused. Because it must take you away, it must invite the sorrow of your people. What am I supposed to do?'

Yudi was immersed in his contemplation, the warmth that the Goblins showed here. Makes it hard to take Goobu away, because he is the King.

"As soon as my business is done, I'll appoint a new king and after that we'll go around fighting the Holocaust."

The Mage recalled what Goobu had promised, when he granted his wish to meet his people again.

Indeed, he knew that Hobgoblin would not break his promise but still, there was a disturbing feeling when he had to take Goobu away from them.

"Well! What-"

"Do you see there the friend of the King. Never have I seen those kids laugh so loosely since we got away from that fucking slave dealer."

The words of Yudi who was about to complain because he did not know he had to make a decision, in sambar by Goruru who was suddenly beside him.

The captain's face from Goobu looked happy, his eyes even showed warmth as he stared at Goobu's interactions with the children.

"May I ask?" Yudi.

The Captain turned to look at him and replied, "Please!"

"The children, where are their parents?"

Suddenly Yudi felt the aura of happiness emanating on Goruru's face become gloomy. The Mage concluded that he had just pressed the private button in the question.

"I'm sorry if that question bothered me, could you forget it?"

"It's okay, I'll tell you!"

Yudi could see that the captain of Goobu was looking far away, as if trying to dig up the memories he had. Then his lips began to convey.

"I always told them about the prowess, bravery and courage of Lord Goobu. Then give them hope that Lord Goobu is alive and will return, to become King again and lead us to rise."

Yudi can imagine how the struggle carried out by Goruru, in order to keep the children who were playing with Goobu.

Always smile and have hope in the midst of emotional and physical pressure, as a result of the attack carried out by the seller.

Now he feels selfish if he has to take Goobu to go against the Holocaust, because it will make the children lose hope. So he finally found out what decision he had to make.

'A king should always be with his people, I don't want to take a king that his people love so much.'

"You're a good man, Goruru!"

Saying that Yudi got up from where he was sitting, patting the dust that tapped on his butt. The Mage conveyed.

"You fought well!"

After saying that Yudi sauntered, to chat with some Goblins who greeted him. While Goruru himself clenched his hands because his efforts to persuade the Mage, so as not to bring their King failed.

"I won't let you take away our hope so easily!" His vow.

After being content to entertain the children until they fell asleep coiled around him, Goobu immediately told the other Goblins to take the children to move into the Lodge hut so they could rest comfortably.

The adult Goblins do what Goobu tells them to do, they immediately bring the children into the Hut Lodge where the Goblin sleeps.

After seeing that everything had entered, Goobu immediately came to Yudi who was discussing with some Goblins.

"Sorry to keep you waiting, those kids won't let me go even if I explain."

"It's okay! We're not bothered by that either. Spending time with family is fun. So don't be afraid!"

Some of the Goblins including Goruru who was talking to Yudi also nodded their heads, they agreed with what the mage had said.

"Once I see them laughing it's so much fun, I'm sure that if you stay here they'll always be happy!"

'I'll take the initiative first.'

Goruru immediately took precautionary measures, so that his master did not come with the Mage. His mat glanced at Yudi who was just staring at him.

"Yes, I also love spending time with them. I don't think I can just let go."

Goruru smiled brightly when her King said that, she was very confident that this time she would manage to keep him from going with Yudi, so she added excitedly

"Right, I already know. That's why I hope you will return to be king and guide us, so that we can build our kingdom again!"

'I will win, I will not let the king go again.'

The reason why he knew that Yudi was going to take Goobu, was because of his status which was a slave of the Mage. In order for the mage not to forcibly bring their King, Goruru accidentally tells the closeness of the children's relationship with Goobu to make Yudi hesitate to take Goobu away with him.

However, amidst the excitement of having managed to persuade the King not to leave, Goobu looked at him gently and said.

"Master! I leave them to you, you will be the king in my place of this failed me!"

"Gee!" The voice shot out from Goruru's mouth along with a shocked face.
