Hearing his wife's question about this, Xavier frowned even more. He stared at Vanessa sharply, feeling inexhaustible with what his wife had just asked him.

"Why are you suddenly asking about this?" sahut Xavier tried to look around.

Actually, Xavier didn't think Vanessa would ask this question. It felt like it was beyond expectations, because Vanessa should understand what her relationship with her best friend was.

Vanessa's getting nervous. But he was still curious and tried to research the answer from Xavier, in order to understand the current situation.

Regardless of what Jane says this time is true or not, but Jane feels if this can make Xavier explain their relationship.
