The memory of Jacob's actions at that time was still clearly remembered in Jane's mind.

‘What's with him? Why is he here?’ inner Jane was-was.

“How so? You're at home in Amrik?” ask Xavier who started their conversation back with Jacob.

“You could have. You know it wasn't my decision. Grandpa decided it. But, did you manage to save the company there?” ask Xavier.

“Yah. I managed to save a company that's more worthy of being said to be the warehouse. Just wait, surely after this will be yours,” circus Jacob with a smile.

Honestly, Grandpa Xavier always let Jacob take care of his company. It's just that, somehow the elders in the Lawson family always let Xavier as their owner.

This made Jacob feel jealous all along. He could not struggle, to fight because he was a descendant of the second wife of the Lawson family.

Everything was given to Xavier. Therefore, his return this time, Jacob actually wanted to take his right back.

“Do not like that. All of these companies still have Grandpa. Belonging to us together,” said Xavier soothingly.

Jacob just smiled. He then looked towards Vanessa who from earlier was looking at him sharply with a shrunken forehead. This clearly invites curiosity.

“Hey, why look at me like that? We haven't seen each other in a long time. What are you, completely forgetting me?” jacob asked to make sure he came back.

Jane also realized and immediately shifted her gaze. Seeing his wife acting strangely like this, Xavier even became less and more unpleasant towards his cousin.

"Sorry Jacob, Vanessa had an accident that put her in a coma. So maybe the response is a little different" Xavier explained.

"Oh so ..” Honestly, Jacob just found out about this. Alexa and Xavier didn't even tell the story before.

“Ah, yes. What if you stay here tonight? You're still here a long time, right?” Xavier has now deliberately submitted his proposal.
