Chapter 21: The Auction

“It feels like a long time since we enjoyed tea together.”

In the family room of Kirana's house, a blonde woman wearing an all-white dress was enjoying the tea Kirana made for her.

Regina had originally intended to make tea for the woman, but Kirana prevented her, arguing that the Commander only drank the tea that Kirana made.

Kirana introduces the Commander as the person she trusts the most. Serving as the right hand in the organization, everything related to the guild will be taken care of by the Commander.

“So they are two new members that you choose yourself Master?.” The commander looked at Regina and Cecilia as he still sipped tea on his cup.

Regina and Cecilia felt a strange feeling from that gaze, they felt being stared at by a ferocious beast that was ready to pounce on the two.

Fear filled them until the Commander finally turned his attention to Kirana.

‘Almost my heart stopped for not being able to breathe as she kept looking at me.’ Inner Regina.

‘She is very strong, just with a gaze alone has made my whole body tremble with fear.’ Cecilia looked at the Commander in awe.

“So how, did they pass your selection?.” asked Kirana to Commander.

“Hem...” The blonde haired woman only nodded small. Regina and Cecilia breathed a sigh of relief after learning that the Commander had just tested their mental resilience.

The four of them began to talk about many things especially the plan of auctioning the sack treasures they had obtained from the dungeon conquest.

“Getting money is not the main thing at the auction later tonight, but rather we have to get a connection with the higher-ups of the big guild.” Kirana said the main purpose was following the auction.

By getting connections with large Guilds then they would get a lot of work, along with that the name of the guild would soar.

“Deliver me Master, I will make sure that no one present at the auction can forget the guild name BlackBone Company.” Commander said.

“Oh I'm so happy to get you back by my side. If it is not possible I will always be preoccupied with various unnecessary things.” hearing Kirana's words makes the Commander so flattered.

Kirana plans not to attend the auction later tonight, she leaves everything to Commander and Regina, while the curious Cecilia takes part in the operation later that night.

The Slums, Bloody Gear.

There are two major events held once every two months at this place. The first is the Colosseum fight and the second is the auction event.

The auction event at was a prestigious event at Bloody Gear, where every time the auction was always attended by 7 guilds of the territory's rulers.

Therefore to keep the good name of this place, the auction organizing committee will not accept any items for auction.

“I...this is truly a treasure box of level 17.” an appraiser was so shocked upon seeing the item handed over by Regina for auction.

“At least this box will cost a thousand gold coins for the initial price.” said the appraisal officer.

Hearing the price of the golden box found by Kirana made Regina swallow her saliva. He had not expected that a box that held random treasures would be given such an expensive price.

‘I should have kept the treasure box I found.’ Regina was so sorry for using the 13th floor treasure box she found. From the contact of the treasure Regina obtained a ring that had the effect of strengthening her magic and Mana capacity.

Not only the treasure box that Regina brought, some other items such as weapons and potions were also given to the assessment officer.

“That's no big deal Mr. Victor, we understand our own condition which is a nameless guild. Naturally Mr. Victor is careful with what we bring.” Regina said as she put down the teacup she drank.

“Hahaha..mrs Gina must be joking, everyone in the city is talking about the prowess of one of the BlackBone Company members who defeated A-level monsters with just one extremely incredible magic.” Victor talks about Kirana defeating the Slime monster.

Currently Regina was in the VIP room, where the guests of honor of Bloody Gear watched the auction. Regina is not alone in the room, other than herself there are four other people, namely Cecilia whose appearance has changed as she conquered the dungeon, then the Commander and two guards.

Viktor gulped in his mouth when he saw the beauty of the five women who were in the room.

‘Where did these people come from? I cannot know their strength. Did they use the magic blocker item [Appraisal]?.’

Victor fixed the round glasses that the two wore. He gave up on figuring out the strength of the five women he was currently with.

‘BlackBone company, they are so mysterious. Where did they get the items they were going to auction?.’

He did not care much about the 17th floor treasure box, because although Victor rarely ever assessed and auctioned the treasure box with a higher floor level.

But he was so interested in healing potions with excellent effects. If it was only one or two potions, he would have thought that a reliable herbalist was selling his best results, but this reached 200 bottles of potions. It was impossible for all those potions to be made by one person.

‘There must be a potion factory with good quality that I do not know.’ thought Victor.

After that Victor intended to leave, but the blonde woman wearing all-white clothes called out to him.

“Can I register this trash for auction?.” Commander said as he showed the sword with a red blade as if it were made of Ruby. “I think this weapon is still quite good if at this world level.” he added.

Victor doesn't understand what the Commander is saying, but he does his job of judging.

The door was broken suddenly so that it made the people inside so surprised. A 54-year-old old man with white hair and beard who was the occupant of the room immediately took the weapons he had stored under the table.

The old man cocked his gun preparing to shoot whoever just broke down his office door.

“Bos boss wait for this boss me!.” the person who broke down the door is none other than the employee in charge of doing the appraisal on the item to be sold at auction.

“Victor, damn boy. I told you not to break down my office door every time you get a good item for sale!.” Knowing that the enemy was not coming in, the old man lowered his weapon.

It's not the first time Victor has broken down his office door. Irritatedly the old man picked up the fallen cigar as he was shocked.

“Better the item you brought this time is really good son, or I will cut your salary 25%.” heard the threat from his boss, Victor did not show any fear at all, he strongly believed that the item he had obtained from the woman would make the old man fall out of his chair.

“Item will be the main item in the auction this time.” Victor said as he opened the cloth that wrapped a sword. When he saw the sword, the old man's eyes opened.
