Chapter 42. Overseeing the Elders of the Cu Clan

Lin Chen was now already outside Goa where Ancestor Cu was, immediately darting at full speed to return to the city of hot clouds.

Up to half an hour later, Lin Chen had finally arrived at the outskirts of the hot cloud city.

Immediately walking towards the gate, after conducting the inspection, Lin Chen then headed towards the oceanic restaurant to explain his next plan.

Lin Chen watched the city of hot clouds that looked very crowded quietly, until not long later it finally arrived at the oceanic restaurant.

" Young master." Greet the waiter upon seeing Lin Chen's arrival.

Lin Chen smiled kindly in return for the servant's greeting.

" I want to meet the manager." Said Lin Chen to the waiter.

" Alright, it just so happens that the manager master is already waiting for the young master in his room." The waiter then immediately led Lin Chen towards the manager room of the oceanic restaurant.

While heading towards the manager's room, Lin Chen could see the sight of everyone who looked frightened.

" Servant, has something happened in this place?" Asked Lin Chen who was no longer able to hold back his curiosity.

The waiter immediately quickened his pace. " The young master will find out later when he arrives at the manager's room."

Lin Chen only smiled wryly looking at the mannerisms of the maids and hearing the reply from the maid.

Not long after, Lin Chen finally arrived at the doorstep of the room he had previously been to.

" Young master please come in, I say retreat." Said the waiter respectfully opening the door of the room.

Lin Chen nodded his head, then stepped his foot into the room.

In the manager's office.

The manager of the oceanic restaurant who saw Lin Chen's arrival immediately got up from his seat.

" Young master, please." The manager respectfully, then directed Lin Chen towards the seat.

" Thank you." Said Lin Chen with a smile.

After Lin Chen occupied his place, the manager then turned his facial features into seriousness.

" Young master, just a moment ago there had been chaos in this place." The manager then explained the arrival of the Cu Clan people who were looking for their young master.

Lin Chen who heard the manager's explanation fell silent trying to find a way.

" I'll try to keep an eye on them."

" But young master." The manager hesitates.

" Be calm, while not dealing with the warrior God I can still handle it." Lin Chen calmed the manager down.

" Alright, then let the servant deliver the young master upstairs."

Lin Chen agreed, until the door of the room opened revealing a servant.

The manager then explained to the servant to drive Lin Chen towards the top floor where some of the people of the Cu Clan were still there.

The waiter then asked Lin Chen to follow him.

Finally Lin Chen and the waiter left the manager's room towards the top floor.

Top floor of the ocean restaurant.

Arriving upstairs, the maid immediately brought Lin Chen to occupy a table not far from the three elders who were enjoying the wine.

" Young master, I will prepare an order soon. Please young master wait." Said the waiter, then left Lin Chen.

Lin Chen sat quietly staring outwards, himself trying to listen to the three elders talk.

" It's not a bad idea, even though I've never tasted wine, but I understand if the drink is able to make someone lose control, talk digress and much more. This is my chance to get information from them." Inner Lin Chen

Until while watching the three elders, came a servant who had previously delivered Lin Chen to the top floor with his order.

" Young master, please enjoy." Said the waiter respectfully after finishing serving Lin Chen's order on the table.

" Servant, I want to order the best wine in this place."

The waiter frowned, as if Lin Chen had not drunk wine yet the young man before him had ordered it.

Lin Chen himself who knew the contents of the servant's mind only smiled, then explained if the wine he ordered to give to the three elders of the Cu Clan.

The waiter finally understood, then immediately paused to pick up Lin Chen's order wine.

At another table.

The three elders who were enjoying the wine suddenly turned their eyes towards Lin Chen.

" When was he in this place?" Asked one of the elders confusedly unaware of the presence of others upstairs.

The other two elders turned their eyes towards Lin Chen.

" Let it be, just a labile young man we don't need to think about." The other timpal, then immediately poured the wine into his glass back.

While the elder who had not yet opened his voice was still staring at Lin Chen curiously.

Until the moment he tried to examine Lin Chen's consciousness, suddenly an extremely dazzling light struck behind his soul force.

With an irregular breath, the elder immediately turned his back to look at the two comrades.

" I have a bad feeling about this." The inner elder who had previously tried to enter Lin Chen's consciousness.

Until they were chatting, the waiter came with five bottles of wine.

" Older, please." The waiter put the wine bottle on the table.

The three frowned staring at the five wine bottles that were on the table.

" Servant, looks like we didn't order this wine." Say one of the elders.

The other two elders nodded their heads.

" Older, this was all given by the young master who was at the table." Said the waiter with a gaze towards Lin Chen.

The three elders looked at Lin Chen, then one of them started not to get along with what Lin Chen was doing.

They feel underestimated because they get wine from the young man they consider still unstable.

" Hm... What's all this mean?"

Lin Chen who felt the atmosphere become changed immediately got up from his seat, then walked towards the table of the three elders of the Cu Clan.

" Sorry elder, I heard earlier that this room is not open by the public. Therefore as my thanks for the willingness of the elders to allow me to be in this place, I want to give this wine to the elders." Said Lin Chen in a friendly manner.

One of the elders snorted at Lin Chen's words.

" We don't need it, I can order it myself." Said the elder arrogantly.

" really? The wine I ordered was the best wine and certainly had a pretty expensive price." Said Lin Chen with a smile in his heart.

" Cih! Do you think I'm poor." Said the elder, who then asked the servant to bring him ten bottles of wine.

The waiter who heard that immediately bailed to prepare the elder's order wine.

Lin Chen was getting more and more happy to hear that.

" Stupid!" Inner Lin Chen, who was initially confused on how to get the three elders drunk, had now ordered more from Lin Chen's previous intentions.
