THE PASSION OF THE CEO

THE PASSION OF THE CEO
CHAPTER 289. UNFOLDING

Ezha closed her eyes and opened them slowly. He was powerless even if only to utter a rebuttal sentence. In his heart he cursed and cursed Olivia all out. He swore to avenge all Olivia did to him.

“You want to catch Olivia, right? I have all the evidence of the woman's crimes. He works with Edo and Dirga.”

“You lied to escape your punishment, I'm not sure you have any evidence. Even if there was, Olivia would have destroyed it.”

Ezha shook her head while grimacing withstanding the pain in her head. “Olivia doesn't know I have proof of that. The only thing he knew was the video of his meeting with Edo and Dirga that I edited. He didn't know I still kept the original video,” explained Ezha.

“OK! If all the evidence is there, tell me where you hid it.”

“I want to make a deal first,” Ezha shook her head.

Of course Ezha is not willing to give up so easily, he knows the prison sentence is already waiting for him but the result might be different if he manages to persuade Verrel.

Ezha knew that Verrel was a powerful man and could influence the legal process. Who does not know Verrel Aditya Ceyhan? One of the richest men in the country.

“I reiterate once again, you will not get anything if you want to be free from prison. Tell me what do you want?” verrel asked, resting both arms on Ezha's side.

“I know. I do not ask for freedom, only I beg to give me the lightest punishment. In the murder case in that apartment I was just a witness. Olivia is the real culprit.” replied Ezha.

“So you want your punishment to be lighter than Olivia?” ask Verrel again.

Ezha moved her eyelids twice in response, “Iya.”

“Alright! That can be arranged. Now tell me where did you hide all that evidence?”

“In the safe, under the bed Olivia,” replied Ezha.

“You hid the evidence in Olivia's room? Huh! Doesn't make sense.”

“No Sir! Precisely that's the safest place because Olivia would never suspect that I was hiding something in her room that was never locked.” replied Ezha.

“OK. My men will take the safe immediately. Just prepare yourself, lest I find out you're lying! Just so you know, I hate traitors! And I am a human being who knows no mercy for such a thing!” verrel then ordered his men to go to Ezha's safe house. Like an arrow that escaped from his bow, Jack and Bram darted in Verrel's command.

Meanwhile, Verrel returned to Seno's room. He decided to wait there until Jack and Bram returned with the safe while the other bodyguards stood guard outside the room. Late at night the clock on the wall already showed twelve o'clock in the morning. Verrel had already started to get sleepy but he was fighting his drowsiness with all his might.

He turned on his phone to ward off sleepiness and read the hottest news of the moment. His breath was heard reading the news of his cement factory burning as well as Luke's nightclub.

There was a slight sense of disappointment as the news was written without confirmation from his side of the matter. There was even news written that made no sense linking inside it to Verrel's personal life.

While he was seriously reading the news, suddenly there was a breaking news notification that appeared on his phone screen. The news was clearly written the title of an article that made her body freeze in the blink of an eye [Stress and depression, Olivia Lee committed suicide in a cell]

Verrel clenched his hand until it turned white. The title of the article really made him angry. The Olivia-looking woman is the only witness she wants to present in court later to fight the real Olivia.

Verrel blinked his eyes repeatedly to make sure the news he was reading was true. Yani killed herself in a cell? No way! Verrel also looked at his phone screen to see the time of the article's release. Just below the title listed the number twenty-three through twenty-five. Releasing the news in the middle of the night?

It's weird, Verrel thought. He scrunched his forehead in wonder, Why didn't Sergeant Fahrezi say anything to him? Though clearly the officer said he would transfer Yani to a special cell so that his safety is more assured. ‘Something went wrong. There's no way Yani killed herself, she must have been killed!’ verrel said in his heart.

Verrel stared at the wall clock nervously. Expect the needle to move faster so early in the morning. He could not wait to come to the rutan to confirm the truth of the news. He wanted to ask Frans to check but his assistant just fell asleep in a sitting position.

Grat tired of being drawn on his face, the handsome face was not maintained as usual because of the busy work and the many problems that must be resolved. Seeing that, Verrel did not have the heart to wake him up. His phone vibrates with a call coming in from Jack.

“Iya Jack! Hows it? You found the safe?”

“Already Sir. Still intact and smooth, it seemed like the man was not bebrohong. Olivia did not know the existence of this safe.”

“We have not been able to ascertain the extent of their cooperation. The answer we will find after the safe was opened.” said Verrel. “Quick return! We have to solve this problem as soon as possible.”

Verrel hangs up the phone, waiting for the morning feels like a long time for Verrel. All the fatigue and coughing that whack since last night disappeared somewhere. Now only a curiosity remained that demanded to be immediately given an answer. At dawn Jack and Bram return with a safe in their hands. Without wasting any time they took the safe to Ezha's room.

The man was still fast asleep, he had no idea that he was currently surrounded by Verrel and Luke's men who were impatiently waiting for him to open his eyes.

“Wake up bang! If you wait for him to wake up alone must be long,” said Lintang.

Bram approached Ezha reaching out a hand to shake his body.

“Stop! Don't wake him,” Verrel says prevent.

“But Sir if we wait for him to wake up will definitely be long, we need this safe password.”

“I know but now he's a patient. The hospital will sue us if anything happens to him because we woke him up,” Verrel said.

Hearing Verrel's words, Bram retreated and returned to where he stood.

“Frans! Wait here until this man wakes up,” Verrel orders Frans who just woke up.

“Gentleman where you going?” frans asked in a hoarse voice and heavy eyelids to open.

“I have urgent business. You replace me here get all the evidence that was in that safe.”

Verrel also darted towards the parking lot. Soon he wants to find the truth of the article that contains the news of Yani's suicide. The sun had just left his complaint when Verrel's car moved out of the hospital.

The driver drove the car quickly because Verrel ordered to get to his destination immediately. Luckily, the morning road was still not crowded so that the car could go smoothly.
