CHAPTER 235. VERREL'S YEARNING

“Build Deandra...wake up baby. Don't you miss me and our kids?” softly, Verrel's voice said as he stroked his beloved wife's head gently as if persuading. “Tell me what you want. Whatever I'll give you as long as you wake up. I don't need anything else, baby. I just want you, Deandra. Wake up, baby.you've been sleeping a long time. I missed you.”

Ayu stroking her son's hair gives her strength, in fact she also feels sad and afraid if she will lose her favorite daughter-in-law. Deandra is a woman who has made her son turn into a good man.

In the silence inside the room, Ayu noticed her son who looked disheveled and sad. “Pray your children and pray Deandra.” Ayu told Verrel. A husband's prayer is his wife's reward field”

Verrel just kept quiet and answered his mother's words with a nod of his head. As strong as he is but he is always weak if it comes to his wife and children.

The day changed quickly. One day passed and there was still no significant development from Deandra, he was still unconscious as well. This morning several nurses and doctors came just to check on Deandra's condition and make sure there were no more complications post-surgery. Because Deandra was not aware at all, the doctor could only see what his development was like.

“There has been no more bleeding and scarring operation also no infection but the patient will still need blood transfusion again because previously too much blood loss to lower the risk of complications.” The doctor who treated Deandra explained the extent of his development.

It seems that Deandra will need a very heavy recovery period. “Good doctor. I will do my best for my wife.” Verrel said.

She sat back next to Deandra's bed after the doctor and nurse left the room. His hand held his numb and pale left hand. Anyone would be desperate in a wait like this.

Ayu and Yahya and Viktor could not stand watching Verrel getting worse, they knew if Verrel would not be able to if he had to lose Deandra. No one knows who will go first, the young or the old, the healthy or the sick. Even those who are not expected can leave at any time.

“Verrel! Don't be like this. Deandra definitely doesn't want to see you like this. You have to be strong and keep the spirit.there are five children who need you.” Yahya said.

“Opa, I can't keep seeing it like this. He's been in this condition for so long. When will he wake up? What should I tell the kids later?”

“Already, don't you think about the no-no. A lot of responsibility is on your shoulders and the whole family depends on you. How long haven't you seen the kids? Do you think they don't miss their papa? Go home and play with Nathan and Naomi, hopefully they can cheer you up.”

If he wakes up later opa will tell you.” said Viktor. After hearing her grandfather's words, Verrel realized that for a few days he had not seen the twins and played with them.

Even though they were small and did not understand anything yet but they must have felt homesick for him. Verrel agrees to her grandfather's request and leaves the hospital, albeit with a heavy heart. After Verrel's departure, Arion and Juan arrive at the hospital and head straight to the floor where Deandra's treatment room is located.

“Good morning Mr.” greet the guards standing guard at the door.

“Master Verrel just got home. Inside there is the Grand Lord and Mr. Viktor.”

“Oh alright. We enter first.” said Arion immediately enter after the bodyguard opened the door.

“Good morning Opa.” said to both parents who were sitting on the sofa.

“Hei Arion!…….” Yahya's eyes were wide open to see someone walking behind Arion.

“Basic brat! Comehere you! You can never call opa. Suddenly you're here! Why didn't you call me?”

“Ssttttt...opa don't be this angry at the hospital.” Juan chuckled while avoiding Yahya hitting him with a roll of newspaper.

“How not to be angry if you never want to obey parents. Why are you home now, huh? Are those women holding you back?” yahya said annoyed.

“Opa...why angry? I was young and enjoyed my youth. What opa forgot how Verrel was?”

“Eh! Look at him now he's changed a lot. When are you going to change and get married? Did you wait until I died?”

“Waduh don't talk like that opa! I also want to get married if there is a match!” juan joked, he turned to Deandra, who was lying in a hospital bed. “How is it?”

Juan Athaya is a handsome and humorous man, he has the same hobbies as Verrel used to. Spending time looking for satisfaction with paid women and never having a serious relationship with a woman. The only difference is that Juan is humorous and jolly while Verrel is cold and cruel.
