The Old Tree Dwellers

Start over

After successfully overcoming the interference of Jaka's subtle creatures, tonight Kyai Sarwa and Madi can rest enough. The atmosphere in the cottage looks calm. Meanwhile, Aulia's situation at her parents' residence seems to be fine. Aulia has already begun to adapt to Madi's departure. For more than a week, Madi left him, visiting Kyai Sarwa at the cottage.

Disturbances in the form of calls resembling Madi's voice, can no longer fool him. Moreover, he always practiced the reading given by Madi before leaving for the cottage.

However, the figure of Nang, still often supervises the house of Aulia's parents. Indeed, the young man, the hunchback granddaughter, was only able to see Aulia from a distance, paying attention to Aulia's movements. I don't know, what was in the mind of the granddaughter of the hunchback, so that almost every time always peeked at the movements of Aulia.

Like this morning, from behind a large tree that was opposite the house of Aulia's parents, Nang saw Aulia was sitting on the terrace, breathing the morning air casually, the breeze feels so cool, along with the start of the sun's movement from the eastern horizon.

“Lia, don't sit too long on the terrace!” I heard Aulia's mother speak from inside.

After sweeping the courtyard, for a while Aulia stared across the street, feeling like someone was paying attention. Many times, Aulia stared at the tree across the street, reassuring herself whether or not someone was watching her.

After being convinced that there was no one to watch over her, Aulia immediately finished her work and immediately

get into the house. His feelings were suddenly bad. Something suddenly made him goosebumps. Apparently, with Nang, now there are invisible creatures, who come from the inhabitants of the old tree, accompany Nang.

There are a pair of creepy-faced midget grandparents who still hold a grudge because they cannot damage the magical fence in Madi's house. In addition, there are still some other astral beings that do come from the area around where Aulia's parents lived.

“Let him alone for a while!” said Nang while staring at the flour creature.

“Yes, we will wait for the right time. Now, the occult fence that her husband installed is still quite thick,” replied the creepy-faced midget grandfather. Actually he wants to disguise himself as a beggar grandfather who asks for alms, but, because there is still a magical fence that protects Aulia and her parents, but, astral beings like them would feel the heat of being in Aulia's house.

Nang nodded, observing Aulia's departure, entering the house. This morning, he only wanted to pay attention to Aulia's movements, while waiting for the right time to get in there.

In one of the huts, Kyai Sarwa and Madi walked around some of the buildings, while looking for Jaka's location. He must be somewhere that has been fortified with negative air that is so thick, so it is not easy to find.

“Kyai, is it possible that Jaka will use the santri to mess up?” Madi asked shortly after they started walking away from home.

“Most likely, yes, Madi. The sooner we tell them, the better. So, the santri and ustad who are roughly targeted by Jaka, we can protect!”

Madi nodded, strongly agreeing with Kyai Sarwa's opinion. It was the right action, so that later there will not be many victims who fall, possessed or afraid because they are disturbed by nosy and evil creatures that will be told Jaka.

“Iya, Kyai. We better get to the dorms now. There, many students who will get ready to undergo activities today.” Kyai Sarwa agrees with Madi's suggestion. The two of them rushed towards the dormitory of the students which was located around the limaratusan

Along the way to the dormitory, suddenly Madi's inner eye sight caught something around the dormitory. It's just that the results of his vision are still faint. Not sure what creature was in his vision.

While the shadow that had been seen by Madi seemed to stop, it did not continue its movement. It seems, something Madi saw earlier only wanted to observe their condition.  The negative air

enveloping, it slowly began to fade. Apparently, the figure started to drift away.

“What, Kyai felt something watching our movements?” Curious, Madi asked while still walking with a wide enough step. Kyai Sarwa, did not immediately answer Madi's question. Men

the elder, just kept walking, tried to keep pace with Madi's increasingly fast path.

Seeing Kyai Sarwa who was beginning to be overwhelmed following his steps, Madi slowed down the road. However, Madi's actions instead of making Sarwa's steps slow down, instead remain normal as before.

“Iya, Kyai felt it too. They did not dare to move now. Jaka's strength isn't very strong yet, Madi. He's still waiting for reinforcements!”

Madi took a deep breath from her nose, then threw it slowly out of her mouth. The feeling of worry was so stifling to the chest. His departure to this cottage turned out to be beyond the original estimate. Supposedly, by this time he had already returned to Aulia's parents' house and
