The Old Tree Dwellers

The Old Tree Dwellers
Start Deflating

Madi just fell silent, not knowing what to do. The atmosphere around the forest was so quiet. No one passed by.

“Wait a minute, Madi! Soon the game will start.” Jaka, the hunchback grandmother and a number of invisible creatures of the forest dwellers laughed loudly.

Madi was shocked and soon woke up. Cold sweat flooded his back and the rest of his body. What the hell is going on? Madi never expected to face such a problem.

His intention to ask for protection and solutions to escape from the interference of the creatures of the old tree dwellers was dragging him to other problems. So vengeful Jaka to him, so willing to cooperate with Nini who clearly has false teachings.

Getting out of bed, Madi glanced at the clock that was on the wall. ‘Before asar prayer,’ whispered Madi. Then take a towel, then walk to the bathroom. Maybe after bathing and cooling the body, Madi hopes to be fresher.

“How did you sleep, Madi? Yappy?”  Madi smiled faintly, then sat down next to Kyai Sarwa. Looking at the face of the leader of the boarding house with doubt. However, after weighing, Madi finally ventured to answer the question kyai Sarwa first, just told the contents of her dream

earlier.

“Alhamdulillah, quite soundly, Kyai. It's just, just now, Madi had a strange dream.” Kyai Sarwa just looked at Madi without commenting. Then Madi continued his story.

“In a dream, Madi had seen Nini the hunchback grandmother, Jaka and some fine creatures of small forest dwellers. Madi and grandma

the hunchback seemed to be working together and their science both developed rapidly. There's Kyai

also channeling energy in.” Madi stopped again, breathing out

starting snarling. Kyai Sarwa still remained silent, not commenting, only hearing Madi's story with seius

“The one thing that scared Madi was, Jaka's threat to Madi, Kyai. Jaka said that soon the game will start and he will attack and render Madi helpless.” This time, Kyai Sarwa began to shift her seat, staring at Madi lekat.

“Not to worry about such a dream, Madi! As Kyai said earlier, just focus on your training. They will also not act rashly.” Madi could only bengong hear Kyai Sarwa's response. It seems he is not too

worrying about this.

“So, yes, Kyai?” ask Madi. Just curious, why the attitude of kyai like this. Is that because Kyai doesn't want to make Madi's concentration split? I don't know. Madi raised her shoulders.

“Yes, now we go to musala, soon prayer ashar. After that continue your training. In the meantime, cut back on your meeting with Jaka. And, never tell me the practice that Kyai has taught him!”  Kyai Sarwa said

Madi was a little confused. What exactly is going on. Why did Kyai forbid them to meet? Despite not knowing what he meant, Madi was following Kyai's strict orders

Sarwa.

Since dreaming that strange, Madi a little shy away from Jaka, especially when walking with kyai Sarwa. Madi just finished training so she could go home soon. She was worried about Aulia's health and well-being.

The long-fingered Kuntilanak often teases the men who happen to pass by there by showing his beautiful face. After being successfully seduced, the victim was led to an old tree which in their vision was a nice and luxurious house.

Fortunately the citizen who was taken to the old tree was not until his life was taken, just could not speak for a while. That too they must be helped by kyai or someone who can neutralize the evil influence of kuntilanak.

Not only the kuntilanak that act, also a pair of midget grandparents who have a creepy face. They sometimes disguise themselves as children who ask to be delivered home, because they are separated from their parents. It really began to unsettle the actions of the old tree dwellers.

Aulia is also made dizzy by the disturbance of the astral beings brought by Nang to disturb and break down the magical fence that

it was made Madi.  Several times Aulia

he often heard his name being called by someone who resembled him. It can even be several times a day. That made Aulia a little scared.

As Aulia told through the message she sent. It turned out that only a few days were in the pesantren, there were so many disturbances that Aulia received. Aulia told me,

that this morning, after the dhuha prayer, Aulia heard a voice like Madi calling out to her from the front. This time it's exactly the same. No longer calling names but

with the usual call Madi made.

“Neng, Akang home. Please open the door!” Aulia. The feeling of longing that is felt makes the logic no longer play.

“Akang is home?” Aulia subconsciously answered the call. As hypnotized he walked to the door and intended to open it. However, like there was power, made him realize, so as not to open the door. Many times Aulia read istifghar, asking for God's protection.

After calming down her pounding heartbeat, Aulia peered out through the window. Apparently there was no one there. What if he was tempted and opened the door. Maybe something bad will happen to him.

Madi could only take a deep breath, reading all of Aulia's messages. Fortunately, until now, Aulia could still survive the interference of Nang and his astral creatures. Madi only took a few more days to perfect his training so that he could immediately repel the inhabitants of the old tree.

It has not been felt for a few days Madi was in the pesantren. His training has entered the final stage. Now Madi

it is increasingly sensitive to feel the presence of astral beings even though their existence is still far away. Not only the original creature, the presence of humans can be felt. His inner energy is also strong. Kyai Sarwa seemed very grateful to see the development of Madi.

“Looks like your training went well, Madi. Later tonight, after the prayer isya, follow Kyai to somewhere.”

Madi smiled at the words of Kyai Sarwa who said that his training had begun to be perfect. What intrigued him, however, was Kyai's last words. Where will he be taken tonight? What business is it?  Mysterious really.

“Iya, Kyai. Madi is grateful to have been given some practices to repel the inhabitants of the old tree and make the energy in Madi stronger.”

Kyai Sarwa t smiled broadly at Madi's words. While patting Madi on the shoulder, Kyai Sarwa passed, without any explanation about the departure later tonight. Actually Madi wanted to ask, but, Kyai Sarwa had gone to carry out her duties, touring the boarding house.
