The Part 114

After the departure of Fahri and Evan, Zian continued his hectic work. The man was seriously reading one by one the maps arranged on his desk. Until the arrival of Anita disperse his concentration.

"Good morning," Anita's greeting that morning sounded uninspired, making Zian frown.

"What's wrong with you? Looks like you're not excited" Zian said without turning his gaze away from the file in his hand.

"Are you okay?" ask Zian.

"Alex.." she replied in a barely whispering voice. Zian placed the map in his hand onto the table hearing Anita mention the name.

"What information did you find?"

"I didn't find anything. But you and Naya need to be more careful. I'm sure Alex is preparing revenge for you guys" he said.

Zian only smiled faintly at the words of the woman who had accompanied his days for eight years.

"I'm more worried about you, Marissa!" zian said, "Before reaching out to me, maybe he'll plan something to get back at you."

"I don't care about him. I can face even ten Alexs. I just..." Anita hung her words as the door of the room opened. Dimas emerged from behind the door stopping the conversation.

"Good morning, Boss!" greet Dimas and go straight in. Dimas sat on the sofa not far from Anita.

Zian, who saw the look of the thunder from Anita's face, stood up and sat down next to Anita. He held Anita's hand tightly.

"I know, you're very tough. You don't let anyone step on you. But really, I really don't want anything to happen to you. You know, you're very valuable to me" Zian said.

"Whatever to you, Boss!" said Dimas with his leisure.

"You know, right... Besides Naya, Anita is the most valuable person in my life. Never let Anita go alone. I give you the task of always being with her wherever Anita goes! Even if you need to, you become his shadow!"

Dimas widened his eyes hearing the orders from his boss. Orders that were to him like a death sentence.

"You serious, Boss? You don't realize what a monster woman is? He's gonna shoot me if I'm talking a little wrong."

Zian only chuckled at Dimas' words. "You don't know him very well. If you get to know her more closely, your opinion of her will change. Anita is just a girl who needs protection. I've been hiding Marissa for eight years, and shaping her into Anita."

Zian then sat down on the sofa, then took a spoon and gave it to Naya.

"Please bribe me!" pinta Zian to his wife.
