...NIGHTMARE 18'S...
...Is This The Last of Death?...
The rain kept pouring down the entire villa area which now only four young people left from seven people staying there. Already many unwanted events occur in this villa that can be said to be terrible—and anyone will definitely not want to experience events that are similar to them.
A young man named Rizal was contemplating what had happened to his friends. His dark onyx eyes looked straight at the white-skinned face of a woman named Jihan who was resting considering that her body was again unhealthy. Rizal was occupying a chair while supported by his chin on the knees of his legs which he seemed to cross— forming a simple style when viewed as a whole.
Occasionally those sharp eyes blinked softly, but his mouth remained tightly clenched. Her breathing seemed calm, just like the atmosphere of her room right now. At present.
"Zal! I have something to talk to you about!"
The sound of Kurnia and the door that opened suddenly did not surprise Rizal who was pensive. In fact, Rizal only responded to Kurnia's arrival by turning his head ninety degrees to the left. The rest is only the iris of his eye that moves to see Kurnia through the tail of his eye. With a horrible look.
"What's up, Kur? Don't you see Jihan's sleeping quietly?"
Slowly, Kurnia again closed the door of the room that he almost damaged it and walked with half a foot and a little hasty approaching Rizal.
"Zal, there's a lot I want to ask you about." Kurnia set her breath slightly breathless as a result of climbing the stairs in a hurry. "Do you know who killed our friends?"
Rizal furrowed his brows deeply. "What do you mean?"
"No, it's nothing, I'm just asking. Do you know?" Kurnia asked her question again in a whisper.
Rizal grunts. "You think I'm paranormal? Well, how do I know who killed them," replied Rizal then also in a whispering voice.
Kurnia was silent for a moment. Think hard about what question he wants to ask next. "Was... Please don't take this conversation seriously—"
"Hurry and finish what you say, I don't like to beat around the bush."
"OK, OKAY... Is... did you kill Fitri?"
The sound of the door breaking open forcibly managed to shock two people who were almost serious about their conversation. Making the two men in the room turn their heads quickly towards the door leaf.
"Rizal Ardiansyah! I'll break your whole secret!" shouts Sandi while looking at Rizal with a look of wanting to kill.
Seeing Sandi who came with such an attitude, Kurnia gasped and turned her body towards Sandi. "San! Watch your mouth!" Kurnia's eyes glued to something that Sandi was holding in her hand. "Why did you bring that rope?"
Hearing the word rope that stuck Rizal's mind, this stoic-faced young man stood up and faced Sandi. Just like Kurnia did before. "Sandi...you—"
"Why, Zal?" Sandi's eyes looked at Rizal with a condescending look while smiling a sharp cynic. "You don't have to be afraid, I just want to interrogate you for a moment. Just a moment," said Sandi as she walked closer to Rizal and Kurnia were. His smile is getting worse.
Kurnia felt tension enveloping her as she saw Sandi start to approach the two of them. "San, stop! What are you gonna do with Rizal?"
"Control your mind, San. Do not let the negative control you," said Rizal with a little anger that is very visible in his face and eyes. He felt something was wrong with his friend.
At a time like this, who would win?
Sandi laughed restrained. "I told you, I just wanted to interrogate you. And just a minute."
"Stop your footsteps, Sandi! Your behavior like this will only add to the difficulties between the four of us!" kurnia exclaimed with emotion bursting out.
When the distance between Sandi and the two of them was very close, Kurnia ventured to grab Sandi's hands. Trying to stop him with all his might.
Rizal also took the initiative not to remain silent. But unfortunately, the grip of Kurnia's hand was easily released by Sandi by way of pulling over and pushing her backwards.
The physical strength that Sandi used to brush off the grip of Kurnia's hand was so great that it made Kurnia fall backward. As a result, the back of Kurnia's head covered by her yellow hair hit the side of the bed very hard.
"Aragh!" kurnia groaned with a very small voice and deliberately he held it so as not to be too horrendous throughout the room.
Rizal's eyes widened in shock at what had happened to Kurnia. Fresh blood from Kurnia's head began to flow. Stained his shirt, his back neck, and also his right hand that was about to see what had come out of his head.
"Purnia!" exclaiming Rizal while trying to approach Kurnia who was sitting on the floor of the cold room.
Not only did Rizal step on his second leg, Sandi immediately used the reproach to catch Rizal. Sandi moved her legs and immediately caught both hands of Rizal and twisted it until the prisoner bent his knees with the position of both hands behind his back.
Rizal, who had been caught and not trying to fight Sandi, could only grit his teeth and growl, "What do you want, San?"
"What do I want?" Sandi smiled cynically towards Rizal who she managed to hold back. "I just want to unravel the whole secret plan you've been covering up all this time." Suddenly Sandi remembered something. "I should have asked you. Why aren't you against me at all? Aren't you the black belt holder of karate when you were in senior high school first, heh?"
Rizal's eyes sharpened in no time. "That's because I don't want any casualties here."
"good. And that's what I want your whole plan to unfold as soon as possible."
Quickly, Sandi sat Rizal on a chair that had been used by Rizal sitting some time ago and immediately tied his body on the back of the chair with a rope that had been prepared from nowhere. Not to forget with his wrists tied on the arms of the chair and his ankles tied on both legs of the front seat.
After the tie-up event to tie Rizal was finished, Sandi immediately pulled the chair until it was in the middle of – spacious room. Don't you feel heavy, San?
He looked at Rizal who was already helpless like that with great pride. "I don't think getting you to bond like this turns out to be easier than I thought."
Rizal's palm clenched for a moment, then relaxed as usual in a short time. Similarly, his previously sharp gaze returned to relax. "You're crazy, San."
Laughter Sandi echoed to all corners of the room. "Crazy? I'm crazy?" He looked at Rizal sharply. His index finger was pointed right in front of Rizal's eyes. "You're the one who's crazy for killing all your friends, Rizal!"
Kurnia who was still grimacing in pain on the floor widened her eyes in shock at what Sandi had said earlier. "What?"
The voice of Sandi who had been in the form of a shout had succeeded in disturbing the dreamland of Jihan in her deep sleep. Slowly, the eyelids of the dark brown haired girl opened. Showing her emerald iris still cute and tired. His head tilted slightly toward the source of the sound he had heard earlier.
"Handword? Why are you yelling like i—"
Jihan's words that sounded very tired of success came to a halt instantly. His eyes widened slightly looking at what had happened in front of him. "Kurnia? Rizal's? Sandi, what exactly is going on here?"
Sandi looked at Jihan with a strange smile on her face. "Good morning, Ji. Do you know that your little friend Rizal is a murderer who killed his own friend?"
Jihan knitted her brows. "What?"
"Don't listen to him, Jihan! He's gone crazy!" kurnia's orders with a high tone beyond the tone of Sandi's speech earlier, hoping to dispel Jihan's hearing of Sandi's speech that impressed the origin.
The argument between Sandi and Kurnia has now succeeded in making Jihan healthy again instantly.
Jihan changed her position that was lying down to sit. The look on his face emitted a meaningful confusion. "What actually happened? Can anyone explain it to me?" jihan asked with a tone that rose by half an octave.
Hearing Jihan who was confused by the current situation, Kurnia decided to get up from the floor and sit on the edge of the mattress, next to Jihan. The pain in his head was back. However, his pulsation returned to being - so when he accidentally moved his head excessively.
"Aragh!" rintih Kurnia is back. This time in a quieter voice than before.
Jihan approached Kurnia. "You all right, Kur?"
One of Kurnia's hands was raised half into the air. "It's okay, Ji. It's just a minor wound" Kurnia said, trying to ease Jihan's worries.
"Lighter injuries? Your head is bleeding like this you call a light wound?" ask Jihan in a high tone. "Here, let me treat your wounds for a minute."
Jihan picked up the P3K box which happened to be on a small table that was right next to the bed after circulating her gaze in all directions. Maybe Rizal deliberately put it there to make it easier to reach.
Sandi who had been silent before looked at Kurnia and Jihan, now clenched her hands very tightly while growling in annoyance. "Why? Why don't you guys trust me? WHY CAN'T ANY OF YOU BELIEVE ME?" shouted Password in frustration.
"Pacify yourself, San. If you yell like that, you'll become more and more abnormal" Rizal said.
Now Rizal looks like he's not trying to fight anything. Not trying to take off the rope. Neither against the word of Sandi as Kurnia did. Not at all.
Sandi muttered one obscure word, then turned her body to face Rizal and walked slowly towards him.
"Oh, so you think I'm crazy? Instead of you being busy guessing I'm crazy, how about you admit now that you've killed all your friends?"
There was no answer from Rizal's mouth.
"Why not answer? You're afraid to admit it in front of your two little friends that you're a killer?" ask Sandy a second time.
And for the second time also Rizal silent.
The finished Kurnia was treated by Jihan to reply to Sandi's question with great annoyance, "Rizal didn't kill them, so he didn't answer."
"Shut up! I didn't ask you!" anger Sandi. Then he spoke to Rizal again. "Rizal the murderer, how about you tell him in detail the ways you've used to kill your friends here?"
Rizal was still silent.
"Why don't you answer all my questions, huh?" shout Sandi. "Are you suddenly a statue because of all your faults and sins?"
"No. I just don't want to spend my energy serving a madman who's throwing questions at me in a row." Rizal breathed deeply. "And perhaps, this is my last voice heard in your ear."
Sandi laughed dismissively. "Then, let's see how long you can bear to not let out your voice in the slightest."
Password fist lifted, floated, and landed right on the right of Rizal's face. Making the corner of Rizal's lips bleed and slightly turn blue.
Not satisfied with his first attempt, Sandi repeatedly released consecutive attacks towards Rizal. Not only his two cheeks, Sandi also attacked the abdomen of Rizal so that Rizal vomited blood from his mouth and both legs Rizal where both shins were given a kick with a very cruel.
"Already! Please stop!" yelled Jihan as she moved from the top of the mattress towards Sandi who was busy with her current crackdown.
"Damn! Argh—" Kurnia's movement to hold Jihan not closer to Sandi was interrupted because the pulsation of the wound on his head that had been bandaged back present messed up all his movements. As if the wound helped Sandi unnoticed.
Jihan held one of Sandi's hands with all her might with both of her hands. "Stop, San! Rizal's in pain!"
Rizal who saw the action of Jihan who exceeded this limit was very surprised. It was all visible from the look in his eyes.
"Stay away from me, Ji! Do not let you get hit by my attack just because of a killer like him," said Sandi while taking a swing to go back to beat Rizal.
"No!" Jihan held Sandi's hand back.
Sandi pushed Jihan backwards so violently that Jihan fell on the floor. Pain and a cold floor started running through Jihan's nerves.
Rizal's eyes widened when he saw Jihan being pushed roughly by Sandi. I want to help, but I can't help. As a result, he could only pray in his heart that Jihan would be fine after seeing Kurnia busy with her wounds that continued to attack her mercilessly.
Now he feels like a helpless man.
After removing Jihan from her side, Sandi again sent a few punches towards Rizal. The victim closed her eyes in pain.
Password treatment of Rizal stopped by itself due to fatigue felt by the pineapple-haired young man. Sandi took a few steps back to see the condition of Rizal which was full of artificial wounds as a whole.
The upset feeling that was still lodged in her heart made Sandi shout, "Why don't you groan in pain, huh?" Password's breath still sounds stingy.
There was no definitive answer from Rizal whose appearance now seemed a little muddled. Both corners of his lips turned blue. Both of his cheeks looked slightly bruised. The lower side of his lips showed a stream of blood from his mouth that had now dried up. Each of his palms was clenched tightly, as if he was channeling all his pain and agony at one central point.
"Rizal..."
"Zal, are you okay?"
Rizal looked towards Jihan and Kurnia who were worried about his present condition through the tail of his eyes in turn. He saw that Kurnia's palm was also clenched tightly over his thigh, irritated at not being able to do anything about it. While Jihan returned Rizal's eyes with a look of anxiety even though she was still sick of Sandi's treatment of him.
Rizal's vision was again focused on Sandi who was still silent in her place. The look Rizal gave to Sandi was different from the look Rizal had in the direction of Kurnia and Jihan who were gentle and firm.
The look in his eyes at Sandi was very sharp and cold. If those eyes can kill people, maybe now Sandi is no longer human form because of the eye gaze attack from Rizal.
"So... You still choose to stand still holding fast to what you have said before, hm?" Sandi returned Rizal's eyes with her casual gaze as usual.
There was no response from Rizal who was still sitting bound in front of him.
Sandi threw her eyes to the other side, then looked back at Rizal. "If that's what you want... Alright, I'll take my own decision—" His right hand pulled out a folding knife from his pants pocket. "—about how I solved the case that befell this group of ours!"
Instead of widening, Rizal's eyes even more staring at Sandi getting sharper and cooler than before. Looks like Sandi has planned this all.
Kurnia gasped at what Sandi had taken out of her pants pocket. When his iris caught the figure of Sandi moving closer towards Rizal with a look of wanting to kill him, Kurnia forced herself to move to prevent Sandi as much as possible even though the wound kept throbbing— tried to block Kurnia's motion and make her eyes slightly blurred.
The yellow-haired youth held Sandi's hand holding the knife from behind with all the energy he had.
"Sandi, stop! If you do this, then you're the one who's the killer here!"
Sandi glanced at Kurnia furiously through the tail of her eyes. "Killer? I killed for the good of 'we are left'! I just killed a murderer!"
"But all your actions are wrong!"
"Not for me."
Sandi elbowed Kurnia's chest very tight. When Kurnia was seen groaning in pain, he immediately launched a kick right in Kurnia's stomach so that the victim was bounced several meters away. It seems that a Sandi also does not want to waste the opportunity that exists.
"Ughhh!" erang Kurnia is in pain.
"Kurnia! You okay?" yell Jehan worried. "Sandi, please stop this! Pl-please... Don't we want to go home together?"
"Yes, we will go home together after I kill the murderer first" Sandi replied according to her will.
"But you don't have any evidence that Rizal killed them, do you?" ask Jihan not to lose.
"Indeed." Sandi remained silent for a moment. "Well, yeah, at least after I kill this Rizal we so have a reason and the right answer to the question that will be asked by the parents of our friends who are not there after we come from here later."
Jihan's eyes were wide. "You—"
Sandi showed a sincere smile to Jihan. No answer, just a smile.
At the same time as Jihan and Sandi's conversation, Iris Aquamarine Kurnia accidentally saw something hanging very neatly on the side of the left room wall. Occasionally he glanced at Sandi who was back in the action. Highlight Kurnia's eyes exuded a feeling of doubt within them.
After repelling Kurnia and serving a conversation with Jihan, who can also be called the bully for her, he, Sandi continued to walk closer to Rizal which was only a few steps away from him and stopped when he felt the distance between them was right. Their eyes looked at each other.
"Do you have a last request, Rizal?"
Rizal's eyes were sharper and cold instantly than before. An annoyed feeling was gnawing at his heart right now. Even a marker if he managed to avoid the snare of Sandi's hand that held him, and did not already say 'no more noise'... maybe this young man had already mutilated the pineapple-haired friend who suddenly became such an annoying figure.
In other words, Rizal could only reply with a sharp look.
Sandi looked down on Rizal. "Well, you don't seem to have a last request. Well then," Sandi slowly raised the hand holding her knife high up, "goodbye."
"RIZAL!" yell Jehan hysterically. He felt weak because he could do nothing. Can only watch and be a bully, even a hindrance.
Sandi's hand began to move to finish the knife in her hand right in front of Rizal's chest.
"Candy! No!"
Coinciding with the voice of Jehan's second scream, suddenly the movement of the knife hunch performed by Sandi stopped instantly just a few centimeters in front of Rizal's chest that was frozen silent.
Jihan looked up at what was happening with Sandi now and what had happened in front of her. His brain stopped functioning. His heart stopped beating. Her iris eyes could only see something familiar to her around Sandi's body. Bloods.
Not only Jihan, Rizal who was right in front of Sandi who was already speechless stiff also widened in shock. He could clearly see the blood flow that had seeped around the Sandi shirt, precisely on the chest.
A sharp and pointed katana sword had pierced through the heart of the young man named Sandi from behind his back. Even still clearly visible fresh blood was flowing to the tip of the sword that pierced his body until it dripped down the floor of the room.
Now Rizal's brain can process all the situations that occur in front of him. Rizal's breathing had returned to order as before.
And Sandi is dead.
A few seconds later, Sandi's lifeless body fell helplessly to her left side. And Kurnia was standing behind Sandi's back. A smile was plastered on Kurnia's face at this moment.
"Zal, are you okay? That knife hasn't hit you in the least, has it?" asked Kurnia in a row while walking closer to Rizal who was still bound and watched Rizal's body carefully injured.
Jihan who was already aware of the shock that had befallen her, swallowed her saliva and said, "Kurnia, why are you—"
Hearing Jihan's unresolved words made Kurnia turn towards Jihan, but her eyes did not collide with Jihan's gaze. His eyes were staring at something else. His eyes are lethargic.
"Damn, i..."
"Have explained it later, help me release this bond from my body first," said Rizal to divert the atmosphere that occurred in a weak tone.
"Yeah. Jihan, you helped me untie this, come on!" bring Kurnia.
Jihan immediately stepped away from her place of residence towards Rizal. It took him five minutes until Rizal was freed from the first and last bonds of Sandi while he was still alive in this world.
Kurnia and Jihan rushed shoulder to shoulder with Rizal to immediately sit on the bed so that he could rest for a while after Rizal lost his balance while trying to get up from his hot seat. Maybe because of some blow from Sandi a while ago.
Rizal sat on the edge of the bed with Kurnia and Jihan on his right and left. There was a long silence between them until Rizal finally opened the conversation.
"Kur, why did you suddenly stab Sandi in the back like that?"
Jihan's curiosity came back when she heard Rizal ask a question similar to the one she wanted to ask.
Kurnia looked at the face to the left where Rizal and Jihan were looking at her with a curious look. Then Kurnia turned her gaze to the place where Sandi's body was still lying stiff on the floor while drenched in blood.
Sandi's body was still lying in the same pose and open-eyed gaze as she was pointing at Rizal for the last time. His blood had flowed to the floor around his body. The smell of carnation began to dominate the aroma of the room of the villa.
Kurnia gulped her own saliva. Prepare to answer Rizal's questions and all the questions that will be thrown by the two friends during his childhood. His eyes were firmly focused on the onyx iris and emerald companions from his childhood.
"I will tell you very honestly and clearly why I killed him."
