...NIGHTMARE 13'S...

...The Story has Come Out...

"Tragedy 'last room'."

Deni's words were right about every listener's heart in the room, yes.

"W-what do you mean? 'Last room'?" tanya Fitri with a face that does not believe what he heard from Deni's own mouth.

"That's the name of the room we're occupying right now!" Kurnia was already unable to contain the emotion of her fear right now. His body goosebumps just as Deni mentions the name 'last room'.

Indra—sang vice butler in the villa—turned his eyes. Can't believe. "W-What did you say earlier? Can you please repeat it again?" indra said because he thought he most likely heard wrong.

There was not the slightest response from Deni who had already lowered his head down, all he could see right now was a marble floor adorning the footing. The color of the floor was now the same as the feeling that was inside his chest and mind at the moment. Abstract.

"Ssttt.you are calm for a moment, let him explain the problem." said Sandi trying to calm the others, but he knew that himself was also filled with feelings of annoyance and anger.

At the time everyone was waiting for the sentences Deni would throw, as they expected... Deni continued his words.

"Then, twenty-three years ago, there was an incident that-not-invited in this place. There was a family coming: There were small children, young people, adults, even the elderly... A big family, not a nuclear family." Deni explained at the end of his sentence.

"They had a great time in this villa, and often spent time with other family members, in a room that we now occupy."

Their feathers bristled back and stood up when they heard the last word of the room.

"Time after time and day after day the family went through with laughter. Included in a pool—where Young Master Joints closed his eyes, just like you guys did a while ago."

"Ja-jadi—"

"Shut up, Kurnia! Continue with honesty and openness." between Sandi who had been too focused on the story of the butler.

"But their laughter did not last long, for something unexpected came to them all. Something beyond human instinct, something uninvited and..." Without even realizing his tone was rising and his clenched hand was taking out a red liquid from his palm.

Seeing the state of his superior like that, one of the maids— named Deri— said, "Master, your hand..." His body moved slightly to approach Deni and initiated treatment of his wounds.

Deni raised his bloodless hand. "Enough! No need, I'm fine."

"Good, Sir." Deri regained his position as usual, when he heard the story of his Master, Deni.

The butler took a breath for a moment. "I don't know, what I saw was intentional or not. Just imagining it is like having a bad nightmare, very bad." Deni lowered his head more and more deeply. His fingers grabbed his long black hair.

"Then? What happened at that time?" jihan asked with his innocent face.

"At that time..." Deni could no longer hold back his tears, slowly but surely the liquid coming from within his eyes was out tracing his pale white cheeks.

"There used to be a big fan right in the middle of the ceiling of the room 'this'..." Simultaneously those in the room raised his head in accordance with the location of the fan Deni said earlier.

"Where? There ain't?" ask Kurnia.

"That was, Kur... wasn't 'was Deni saying 'forehand'? Please, do not use your stupid brain at a time like this." said Rizal who was upset with the nature of Kurnia.

"Oh, yes, sir!" His right hand moved to perform a respectful position right at the temple of his eye.

Rizal could only sigh deeply and roll his eyeballs. "Then? What's with that big fan?" Rizal leaned his body against the cushioned sofa pad behind his back while folding his hands together.

Deni's eyes glanced slightly towards the figure Rizal was in, and of course Deni's eyes could be felt by our Young Master this one. The look in their eyes collided with each other. Not long after, Deni averted his eyes from Rizal and again observed the marble floor and resumed his 'fairytale' story.

"Fans it... Not a fan, rather.the fan's propeller was somehow able to detach from the shaft's spin."

Cold sweat slowly begins to flow out from within the skin of the Fitri scalp. "Te-detachable? Why can?" said Fitri with—once again—face do not believe her.

"Ssttt..." Jihan gave a sign to Fitri who had let out her voice in order to immediately lock her mouth and keep her words. Fitri and Kurnia are the same.

A few seconds later, Deni continued his words.

"After detaching from the rotation of the shaft, the propeller flew by itself. One by one, the family members lost their lives. Some had their heads severed, some had their heads split in two, some had their hands and feet severed as they were about to escape, and most of all I remember, there was a man running to me as I followed into the 'this' room'. He ran to me asking for help and stretched out his hand, just as I was about to reach his hand..."

CTAAAARR!

"YAHOO!"

The women were hysterical because they heard high-volume lightning sounds right at the point of the story that almost reached its climax. Might as well.

"Can you respond normally?" sandi said while covering his ears that were still sick due to hearing the shrill voice of women, both from the servant and from his own best friend.

Kurnia agreed. "B, hm... Your shout is really beleb—"

"Be quiet, Kur" Rizal said firmly.

"Why indeed? 'could I just—"

"Shut up."

"Hey, listen—" said Kurnia did not want kal—

"Shut up!" Now everyone is crying out at the same time. Hey, why was my description above also cut? Yeah, never mind... Proceed to the story.

"Oh, OK, all right, I'll be in-am! Satisfied?" And in the end Kurnia gave up the resistance of his friends.

Kurnia spoke again, "Please continue the story." Rizal's head faced Deni, back.

Deni leaned his body against the cushion of the sofa behind him, just like Rizal did. He made a space between his right and left legs, his hands linked together, and his lower wrists rested on his thighs.

"When the room turned into a sea of blood. Their red blood replaced the entire wall paint in this room, everything... Their bodies are lifeless exactly—ah, not—more precisely messy in the room we're sitting in now."

"wait. Didn't you say someone was asking you for help?" Jihan asked with curiosity engulfing within her.

Since the question Jihan asked represented the thoughts of her other friends, the others were just waiting to return the story from Deni.

"Has he survived?" continued Jihan.

Deni thought hard, as if he had truly returned to that time. "He's... She's..." Create silence for a few seconds. "... die."

"Why? Wh-what happened to him?" timpal Fitri represents questions from his friends, too.

"When I was going to help him, the fan propeller managed to split his body in two. Her fresh blood splashed all over my body and face. S-i.. I..." Deni's breath hunting. Not irregular.

"...'me'....why?" tanya Zaki, one of Deni's confidant servants.

Deni again inhaled a deep breath, trying to set his breath back to normal as usual. "I feel guilty" both of his hands moved to hold his head, and bowed deeply. "I'm sorry, sorry, I'm sorry.I'm sorry I couldn't help you'."

Hearing Deni apologizing to that person, Rizal felt confused. "Hn? What are you apologizing for? He's gone, why are you apologizing?"

Deni shook his head. "No, now he has returned to the world after twenty-three years."

Sandi took a cup of warm tea—which is now no longer warm because the cold weather is more dominant in this room—and gulped it little by little. "Heh, you mean 'he' is reincarnated? A dead person cannot be reincarnated." He put his tea cup back into the small table bag in front of him.

"Who do you think is the same 'he' you want to help?" asked Fitri with his passionate curiosity.

Deni's sharp eyes glanced towards them, the guests of his villa. "I'm sorry if I'm presumptuous, 'he'..." His eyes were now focused on one of his guests. "She looks a lot like you."

Instantly, all eyes with a look of disbelief were fixed on the 'he' that Deni meant. "Rizal?" say they're in unison.

Rizal who is now the center of attention in the last room was a little surprised, but still with his flagship stoic style. He raised his eyebrows. "I? 'He' looks like me? Heh, that's right." His onyx eyes moved to look around him. "Can you not look at me like that?"

Hearing the statement from a Rizal, everyone who was staring at him instantly threw their gazes in all directions.

And what Rizal is doing right now is sighing all the time. "What do I have in common with 'she?" His eyes intimidated Deni.

Iris the butler's eyes looked at Rizal carefully and described him in detail. "Iris her eyes. her nose.the shape of her jaw..."

Rizal, who was seen in detail by Deni, felt bad. The answer that came out of Deni's mouth was cut by Rizal's second question. "the difference?"

Instantly, Deni's gaze accommodated the minimum and relaxed his body by leaning his body against the back of the sofa behind him. And straightforwardly, briefly, and quickly Deni said, "Eye gaze, descent, and nature." The word 'nature' at the end of the sentence is given a slight intonation emphasis.

"Ehmm..." Kurnia held back her laughter for hearing the statement from Deni yang—in her opinion—lucu.

With a flash, Rizal's eagle eyes stared at Kurnia intensely accompanied by a dark aura around her. And all Kurnia could do was silence a thousand languages and swallow her own saliva. Ah, and not to miss also the mainstay grin.

"Where are they buried?" ask Sandi who wants to end the unclear scene between Rizal and Kurnia.

Deni did not answer. His face seemed to be thinking of something.

"Can we see it?" timpal Jihan's.

Fitri nodded in a sign agreeing with the question posed by Jihan. "Un, and all on pilgrimage as well" Fitri added the words Sandi and Jihan.

Cold sweat began to flow in the temples of his eyes. "Their squad..." Deni's eyes looked at them one by one, more precisely looking at their expressions. "Their body I buried here."

DEG!

"W-what? Did I hear wrong?" zaki said with his ambiguous grin.

Now Deni can only be bowed lethargic with an empty eye. Regretting. "I'm sorry, I don't know if I have to bury their bodies which are quite a lot where else..."

BUAGHS!

"HUMAN BASICS HAVE NO BRAINS! AREN'T YOU THINKING ABOUT HOW THEIR SPIRITS WILL BE, HUH?" Rizal pulls the collar of Deni's white shirt with his two burly hands.

"Zal, calm yourself! You see? Because you hit him hard, he's like that." Kurnia pulls Rizal back, trying to separate him from Deni, but Rizal's fingers still hold the collar of the butler's shirt very tightly.

Rizal's female friend who crowned dark brown hair finally helped the effort made by Kurnia. "Zal, get your hands off his collar! pity's right?" His small hand tried to open the hand of Rizal from Deni as strong as his strength.

His upset feelings were slightly moved—or in other words muffle— because he saw his two closest friends advise him to stop all the actions he had done. Finally, in one blow, Deni was released from the grip of Rizal's hand. And now it can be clearly seen the top of the Deni shirt now, very messy.

His eyes stared furiously at Deni who was still bowed because of the regret that plagued him. "YOU MUST APOLOGIZE AND DO SOMETHING TO THEIR BODIES! YOUUNDERSTAND?" With anger still mounting, Rizal left the last room and immediately shot up the stairs leading to the second floor of the villa.

Those left behind can only be silent, not knowing what they should do after this.

Indra—sang vice butler—decided to break this silence. "I think we should all get back to work, man." Indra sighed while closing her eyes for a moment, then glanced towards the wall clock. "We have to cook dinner before it's too late." And he took his foot out of the last room into the kitchen.

"Yes, come!" said Rizki while walking behind Indra, his actions were followed by all the servants who had heard the story of 'Deni and the last room'nya.

Sandi woke herself who had been sitting on sofa—listening to a story— to stand and look at Deni who she thought was very sad. Then he took his eyes off Deni and walked over. Headed towards the stairs.

"San, where are you going?" ask Kurnia.

"I want to go upstairs, there's something I want to talk to Rizal about." His feet climbed the steps one by one casually and were eventually lost from all the sight of his friends.

Sontak Kurnia immediately stood up and ran. "Wait, I'm coming!"

"He-hey, Kur!" Jihan screeching. "Basic." Seeing her friends who had disappeared from her surroundings, Jihan finally decided to stand up from her sitting position, along with Fitri. "I'm sorry about my best friend, Rizal, earlier, yes?" His head was slightly bowed before Deni.

Fitri who does not know what sentence to say can only follow what Jihan did, namely bowing his head as a representative of the request for Rizal.

"It's okay." Finally, Deni said a word. Either in a smiling or moody expression, clearly now his head was lowered deeply. His face was invisible, not one bit.

Jihan who felt bad about this kind of atmosphere ended up taking it for granted. His hand held Fitri's hand. "Come, Fit, we're up."

Fitri agreed. "Yes." Yeah."

They also went to the second floor of the— where Kurnia, Sandi, and Rizal are now located, leaving Deni who still survives with his position behind them.

For a few minutes in solitude and a quiet atmosphere, Deni ponders the tragedy of his dark past. His head kept his head down, his eyes looking at the marble floor below. Inside his head was a shadow of those times that were not worn twenty-three years ago. Screams, cries, cries for help kept spinning in his mind.

Her fingers moved to grip her long hair very tightly. "It wasn't me who did it.. it wasn't me... not—"

Suddenly, Deni raised his face straight ahead. Face flat. "True, it wasn't me who caused their deaths..." His mouth showed a wide smile. "Ahaha... It wasn't me who killed them, but it was the fan propeller that killed them! Ahahahaha...!"

Deni's laughter filled the entire last room.

What happened to him?

Is he being... insane?
