The Lost In The Nightmare

The Lost In The Nightmare
Their People's Talks

...NIGHTMARE 14'S...

...Their People's Talks...

In the evening, the clock shows exactly six o'clock past three minutes. In a room—or rather room—which is located very close to the front porch on the second floor of the villa. Seen the figure of a raven-haired and emo-faced looking at the outer courtyard of the villa moistened by the rain that until now still flushed around the area. His onyx eyes stared straight ahead—what he was looking at, while his mind. He doesn't know what to think and he doesn't want to know what to think.

After a long time of staring straight out the window, his eyes began to focus on what was forming on the clear glass window before him. The shadow of himself. With a flat face, his right hand moved towards the window of the villa room in front of him, touching his shadow, and rubbed it gently.

"Is this who I am now?" Rizal knitted next to his eyebrows. "Or is this just reincarnation?" He threw his gaze away from the shadow he still touched—his eyes glanced towards one of the lower corners of the window. With a swift and slightly widened eye, he looked back at his reflection on the cold windowpanes. "Apa—"

"RIZAL!" Jehan screams calling his name and accompanied by the sound of a door that opened violently managed to make the owner of the name turn his head quickly towards the source of the sound— towards the door of his villa room.

"Can you slow down, Kur?" said Sandi who was behind Kurnia while hitting the yellow-haired head slowly.

Kurnia—sang troublemaker and who has disturbed the solitude of Rizal—gut his aching head due to a blow from Sandi. "I know, but I can't hold my own emotions, you'll know how I am."

Hearing the sentence uttered by his best friend this one, can only make Sandi sigh loudly.

Not long after, came the two women's other friends.

"The two of you, instead of entering, are standing in the doorway like this, blocking the way!" babble one of the women who crowned Dark Brown hair while encouraging the two of them who were silent in the doorway to immediately go inside. The outcome? The two young men named Kurnia and Sandi almost fell to the floor in the room because they were pushed unexpectedly from behind if their feet did not quickly reflex themselves.

"Ji, can you slow down?" Said Kurnia softly to her little girl friend named Jihan while turning her body to face her co-star.

"Unfortunately, no." replied Jihan briefly.

Hearing Jihan's reply, Kurnia turned her eyes around and turned to Rizal. "Oi, Zal—" Kurnia widened her eyes as wide as possible. "W-What are you doing, Zal?" asked Kurnia in a high tone.

"Hn?"

"That's, what are your hands doing with the window panes?"

Rizal turned his face away from his companions, towards the direction his hands were in now. "Hn, I touched this glass on purpose to find out whether it was thick or not, but it didn't seem like it was so cold" he said with words and a casual answer.

Rizal's statement made his friends have their own conclusions and responses. The short-minded Kurnia could only nod her head, Sandi who had an IQ of over 200 could only evaporate widely and did not want to interfere, he said, Fitri put on a confused look with many questions in her mind, while Jihan... He felt strange about the statement that Rizal made earlier.

"So..." Rizal released his hand that had touched the window glass—more precisely, the shadow of himself. "What are you all going to do here?" He turned his body to face his friends who were still standing around the door. Both hands he put in his trouser pocket.

Password scratched the back of his head that was not itchy. "Well... I came here because I wanted to talk to you about something."

"We too!" exclaim Jihan, Kurnia, and Fitri along with different intonations.

Seeing all the behavior of his friends, it seems like Rizal has understood where the flow of their conversation will go. Rizal let out a long breath. "Alright, anyways, this issue should be discussed in a familial manner."

Kurnia smiled a little. "Then... Where are we going to discuss our 'discussion material?" Her aquamarine iris noticed all the pairs of eyes that were in one room with her. "Who has an idea?"

"Kur, we want to talk about the problem that happened to us, not want to gossip about it." Jihan chanted a second time.

Fitri swallowed his saliva for a moment. "W-how about we talk about it on this second-floor back porch? It might be a pretty decent place to be our long talk" suggested Fitri in a soft, careful voice in her tone.

"Well, not bad either, come on." take Sandi while stepping her legs towards the back porch leaving her friends behind her back.

"Assyc! The cool mountain air, I'm coming!" kurnia said with excitement as she passed to a place that seems to have been persuaded to be the place where they talked about the problems that occurred.

The departure of Sandi and Kurnia was followed by Fitri while holding the shame of just staring at Kurnia's back.

Then, Jihan was right behind Fitri. Before turning completely, Jihan's head looked into the room and said, "Zal, let's hurry! The dinner's ready." After saying that, Jihan melengos went after the others.

"Hn." the response was brief.

Rizal passed to the door of his room that had been wide open due to the actions of his yellow friend earlier, and closed the door slowly from the outside.

A moment passed so quickly. Their wait-and-wait action is over, and now is the time they start talking about this issue together—after they all put themselves in the available patio seats.

"So, what question opened up our conversation?" Sandi circulated her eyes into the eyes of her friends. "Who wants to start asking questions?"

Silence happened instantly. Each of them thought about what kind of question they would reveal as the opening event of their conversation.

A quick idea of the question flashed in Fitri's mind. "I-That's... What was the motive for killing Novi and Joints?" Fitri swallowed his saliva. "Is he looking for something between us?" said freelance.

"yes too. If the perpetrator killed Novi and Jendi, there is a possibility that the perpetrator 'seeking' something." Jihan replied regarding the question that Fitri had just thrown. "Well, my question now is... What is the 'seeking' of the perpetrator?"

"If the perpetrator is 'looking' for something between us, then there is a good chance that he knows us" Rizal said very casually as he folded his arms to add warmth to his body.

Reflexively, they were all in one place with Rizal turning his head. "Known?" ask them all at once, there is a tone of astonishment in their words.

Rizal who felt bad to be the center of attention of his friends, and very easy to express a command. "Don't look at me."

"OK, all right, Rizal." Kurnia raised both her hands a sign that she did not dare to go against the orders of her raven companions. "So, what do you mean by that word 'known' you?" continued.

"I just expressed my opinion, nothing more" explained Rizal briefly.

Sandi thought hard about what had happened to her group. "First, the murder of Novi, then Joints. Second, Deni suddenly recounted the tragic events that occurred in this villa twenty-three years ago," He described one by one the strange and unexpected events that befell their long vacation.

The sound of rain that became the backsound of their conversation suddenly grew bushy, the lightning children snatched at each other. The wind was blowing so hard, that the trees around the villa let out a frictional sound between the branches and twigs—a strange sound, and added a sinister impression in the villa's environment.

Jihan opened her mouth, breaking the mouth shut in the midst of their conversation. "Is... the perpetrator one of us?" he muttered in a voice that he thought was small, but could still be heard by the people around him.

"Where is it possible, Ji... Anyway, how could we possibly kill our own best friend." Kurnia looked at all the faces of her friends. "Right, right, guys?"

"So-of course, Kur!" fitri replied in agreement with Kurnia's statement. While Rizal and Sandi can only reflect on the question of Jihan who suddenly came out. Cannot comment, respond, or answer.

Password Stare straight ahead. Seeing his footrest made of solid wood. "If the murderer is one of us..." Eyes went around to stare at every pair of eyes of his friends. "What is the reason, motivation, and purpose of the perpetrator?"

Rizal. "It's still a mere hypothesis, San. The problem is 'is it true that the killer is one of us?', we still can't find the exact answer to that sentence."

"It just finds, not to mention to be sure." Kurnia chimed in on Rizal's sentence.

Everyone was silent and pensive. Is it true that the perpetrator of the murder case that occurred in their group was one of the four of them? Or is the perpetrator from outside the ring who knows them?

Fitri forcibly swallowed her saliva the umpteenth time. "I-I just thought for a moment, if the perpetrator is indeed one of us... What are you guys gonna do?" he said with shame and caution. "I just want to hear your opinion."

Kurnia let out her mainstay grin. "Heh, if I'm going to try to stop all the evil he's done and make him regret everything he's done."

Sandi smiled disdainfully. "Your answer is truly human, Kur. If I had found out the culprit was one of us, I would have beaten him until I was satisfied and thrown him straight into prison with my own hands. If you need the law to die."

"Ironis." - timpal Kurnia.

"Belvin. Let me know the taste." replied Sandi with a tone of indifference and annoyance in it.

Jihan chuckled at Kurnia and Sandi's tone. "If I am," Jihan stringed up her words for a moment. "Hmm. Maybe the first reaction that happened to me was shock and not expecting at all."

Iris Aquamarine Kurnia looked at Jihan. "Yh, Ji. All you're telling me about is your reaction if you find out the perpetrator is one of us, not what you're going to do." Kurnia corrected Jihan's sentence.

"If that's the case, maybe I'll get upset and hate the guy."

"Oh... You're still too soft, Ji." criticizes Kurnia and is supported by a nod in agreement by Sandi.

Jihan sighed. "How else would you know what my nature is? And if I were to be asked such a question, I would definitely think about the feelings of the perpetrator as well."

"Makanya, don't be a musical child." ledek Sandi.

"As far as I am. My life is." Jihan threw her gaze in the other direction while putting a sullen face on her face.

"Already, poked Sandi don't take heart, Ji." Kurnia turned her head towards Rizal. "If you? What are you gonna do, Zal?"

"Hn? Do I also have to answer such questions?"

"Mandatory and must."

Rizal let out a long sigh, a sign that he gave up in terms of arguing with Kurnia for now. "If I find the culprit among us,"

"One of us." corrects Kurnia.

"Yes, one of us." Rizal chose the right answer. "I don't know what to do with him."

"meaning?" Kurnia raised her eyebrows.

"Depends on his face. If his face is good enough I will make it messy, and if his face is ugly I will make it more broken and messy."

"That's his name beating him in the face, Zal."

"Well, more or less like that."

Hearing Rizal's reply, Kurnia patted her own forehead very hard. "Hey, if it's Fitri himself? What are you gonna do?" Kurnia looked at Fitri with a hopeful gaze so that Fitri would give his answer to the question he made himself.

Stared like that by Kurnia, can make Fitri's face let out a red tinge. "I-I-That's..." Fitri tried not to faint and stay conscious. "If I find out that the perpetrator is one of us, I will try to do my best for my friends who still live with me" he said with shame and energy.

The answer that Fitri made was able to make Jihan, Kurnia, Sandi, and Rizal sweatdrop momentarily.

"A-good answer, Fit. I love it." praise Kurnia with her signature grin.

"Thank you, Kur." Fitri lowered her head deeply.

While they all watch the drama Kurnia and Fitri which can be fairly short. A voice suddenly appeared in their eardrums.

"Excuse me, Miss and Young Master. Dinner is ready, please go to the dining table to eat the dishes we made. Let's." Let's."

The more chatty Kurnia among them all gasped and answered the words of the servant with the answer as it was. "Yes, sure. We'll be there soon. Go ahead and go first."

"Then, excuse me." After saying his last words, the servant passed before them.

After the servant steps away and is not heard from again, Kurnia turns her head back to her friends. "So, the point of our discussion was?"

"Well, we all have to fight to think about and find out who is behind all this" Sandi replied.

"next?" ask Jihan.

"WE EAT!" exclaim Kurnia who turned out to be unable to hold her stomach who had complained asking for food earlier.

Seeing Kurnia such pleasure, made Jihan, Fitri, and Sandi smile. While Rizal? He can only assume the mediocrity of Kurnia's attitude.

"We should also quickly go into the room so that our bodies are warm." Rizal breaks his gaze towards the outside of the villa where the rain falls very heavily and the lightning child shows his ability to each other. "It seems that the weather out there is also unfriendly."

Simultaneously, they left their conversation behind their backs. The back terrace of the villa, which was originally cold, is now cooler than before. Listen, and be a silent witness to the conversation of those who had occupied the terrace.

.......

In the dining room, Kurnia, Rizal, Jihan, Fitri, and Sandi were enjoying their dinner with great enthusiasm because many unexpected events happened to them alternately. From the first time they came to this villa until now.

About twenty minutes passed with silence filled only with the clink of plates, forks, and tablespoons in it. After eating dinner and drinking the drinks that have been provided, now comes the time to eat desserts that will soon be present.

As expected, they did not wait for dessert was present in the middle of a rectangular dining table in front of their eyes. When one of the waiters—small name Zaki—opens the cover of the tray he brought. Visible to the naked eye, the dessert tray contains pieces of watermelon, melon, and pineapple.

Quickly, Jihan swarmed the fruits that were in front of her eyes with more enthusiasm than eating her main dinner. "I want melons!" he shouted while plugging his fork and devouring it at once.

"Ji, can't you eat slowly and leisurely?" candi comments while taking her favorite pineapple fruit with her fork.

"Unfortunately no." said Jihan briefly.

Kurnia can only be heard from Jihan's short answer to Sandi's comments. His right hand, which had been holding a fork, moved to pick up the watermelon in front of him, then devoured it with just a few bites.

Seeing Kurnia—laki-likes—takes watermelon fruit, Fitri also participated in taking watermelon fruit. Maybe to look the same and harmonious. Ahem.

Jihan and Sandi are still arguing with each other.

Sandi clucking. "Hey, Kur, Zal, can you advise your little girl friend to listen to my words?"

Kurnia laughed a little at it. "Look easy, San. Jihan is from childhood like that, isn't she, Zal?" His eyes glanced towards the stoic-faced young man, his best friend.

"Eh."

"True to say. Already, just give up San, we've often succumbed to arguing with Jihan because considering she's a woman."

"Eh."

"The three of you are indeed friends from a very strange little," said Sandi with a resigned tone that was very stated in her sentence.

"Look, Ji! Even Sandi who has more than 200 IQs you can beat in your debate earlier."

"Yeah, I'm great!"

Their pleasure, they showed by crashing the palm of Kurnia with the palm of Jihan's hand so as to produce a considerable sound that echoed throughout the dining room.

The servants who saw their childish actions could only shake their heads with small smiles, even until someone laughed batedly.

"Zal, don't you want to eat the dessert that's already in front of you?" asked Fitri with still a small laugh because he saw the face of Sandi who was wrinkling her face due to the small game of Jihan and Kurnia.

Rizal shook his head. "No. Among those fruits there are no my favorite fruits."

Kurnia who noticed the conversation between Rizal and Fitri, immediately turned her head towards Fitri. "Rizal is like that, Fit. You better not have to ask why he didn't eat the dessert, because the more forced he'll be the more stubborn." Kurnia's left hand held Rizal's neck to his right.

Kurnia's explanation was only responded to by a long 'oh' answer from Fitri's mouth.

"What is Rizal's favorite fruit?"

Kurnia patted his forehead. "Geez, time' doesn't know what Rizal's favorite fruit is? Rizal's favorite fruit is—"

"Apples!"

"Your answer is right! Jihan Aulia got 100!"

"Lookie!"

Instantly the room became noisy with the sound of clapping hands from Kurnia and Jihan who successfully made the dining room atmosphere festive and had a comfortable aura. Seeing the two friends from childhood behaving like that, able to make Rizal form a thin smile on his face.

Not knowing how much, Kurnia realized that Rizal was smiling. "Aah! Rizal smiled!" His right index finger pointed completely at Rizal's face.

Rizal put on a look of disdain and threw his gaze in the other direction. "Don't know where I'm smiling from?"

"That's all clearly visible on your face! Rizal smiled, Rizal smiled, Rizal smiled!" kurnia said with a soft tone version of a child at the end of his sentence.

The outcome? Rizal's smile came back to the surface because he could not bear to hear the tones of the little boy from Kurnia.

At once the atmosphere of the dining room became more crowded than before.

There was a footstep that was getting closer and closer to the entrance of the dining room. Suddenly, everyone in the room stopped all the action and joked their laughter. The entire pair of eyes focused towards the entrance being. Look forward to who will enter the dining room.

Not taking long to wait, there appeared a long-haired man in black and pale white on the entrance doorstep.

"Mr Deni!" Simultaneously and with a sense of surprise, the servants in the dining room called out the name of the butler who had apparently not displayed his nose after his incident of honesty and openness.

Deni returned the greetings of his men with his weak smile. Can be seen by the naked eye, Deni's eyes are very cute, his skin is paler than usual, and his smile like no intention at all.

Now Deni was standing right in the middle of the room table. In front of the dining table. "...i'm.I'm sorry..."

Quickly, Deni's right hand picked up a knife that he had prepared behind the slippage of trousers and a belt behind his back, which he had prepared, plugging it meat cutter knife—which seems to have just sharpened it—right in his jaw until it penetrates to the back of his neck vertically, turning the position of the knife that had penetrated his neck that had been vertical became horizontal by force, then pulling it to the right so that his neck was torn, in other words half broken.

Fresh blood coming from Deni's neck successfully gushed throughout the dining table in front of him. Food, drink, tablecloth, now everything has been touched by Deni's blood. Not only that, the face and clothes of Rizal, Kurnia, Jihan, Fitri, and Sandi were also touched by his fresh blood.

Jihan who saw Deni's unnatural death directly in front of her eyes coupled with blood spurting onto her clothes and face, was now unable to withstand the sudden shock from within her. Breath snuffling.

Rizal who realized the strangeness that happened to Jihan, reflexively turned his head towards Jihan who was next to him and held onto both of Jihan's shoulders with both of his big hands. "Ji! Jihan, are you okay?"

Jihan's right hand moved to touch the viscous liquid that was on her face, and looked at it with an incredible trembling. Fearful. Within seconds, Jihan lost her consciousness and dropped her body towards the direction Rizal was.

"DIRECTION!" rizal shouted in panic as he saw Jihan losing consciousness and dropping her small body on the chest of Rizal's field.

Fitri vomited suddenly because he could not stand the smell of salt mixed with rust continuously, all the food he just ate was wasted.

Sandi and Kurnia were still strong enough to withstand everything he had seen and the smell of blood that infiltrated their sense of smell.

With her emotions still out of control and in shock, Sandi told all the servants, "Hey you guys, don't just shut up! Do something to Deni's body! Hurry along!"

Still with a high sense of surprise and seventy-five percent of their level of consciousness, all the servants replied, "Ba-Good!"

The servants also moved to close and secure Deni's dead body which was lifeless immediately. His body was horrible. The neck is half severed and the other half is not. His skin, flesh, and throat bones were clearly visible. From within that tear of the neck, it continued to spit out a thick, red liquid without stopping until the floor where the corpse lay had become like a sea of fresh blood of its own making.

Sandi helps Fitri who is having difficulty in regulating his suddenly chaotic metabolism. While Kurnia immediately helps Rizal to deal with Jihan who suddenly fainted on the spot.

If it continues like this, Jihan's condition will get worse. "Kur, help me open the door to our room, I'll take care of Jihan in our room."

"Open the room door? Her jihan?"

"Jihan let me take it! Come on!" Deftly, Rizal immediately carried the body of Jihan ala bridal style into the villa.

"OK!" answer Kurnia briefly.

Before Rizal stepped outside the dining room, he shouted, "San, you should also bring Fitri into the room, she looks unwell." His feet stepped back away from the dining room.

Sandi stared concernedly at Fitri. "We should also go to the room so you can rest. I'll carry you from behind, come on!"

Hearing Sandi's words, Fitri hugged Sandi's neck from behind and Sandi started carrying her with her back to her room.

So... Has Deni gone crazy?

Or possessed until he kills himself?
