Chapter X The Gate that Opens

After a brief discussion, the three Merchants were finally willing to clear their wagon of the merchandise on the condition that Yuno would pay their wagon rent later.

Yuno then left together with her Party towards the place that was probably the location of this Event triggered. While the three Merchants will try to evacuate the citizens as quickly as possible.

"What the fuck about that amount?" stella said she could not believe what she was seeing right now.

"It's not just Goblins. Even Orcs, Minotaurs, and Arachne were there in large numbers?!" said Sarina who used her Hawk Eye.

The roar of their footsteps was really loud and tight. Even the surrounding ground trembled because of it, although their distance was still very far.

"What are we gonna do? That's a lot of power with us now, I'm not sure we can stop it" Felix said, playing with his dagger.

"There are two options, first we retreat along with the evacuation of villagers and second is we buy time until the evacuation of residents is complete" Yuno said.

"At the end of the day we'll keep backing down no matter what?" luke Suhut.

"But if we chose the first option, wouldn't that be so bad? We'll probably be chased by them while evacuating the citizens, right?" reply Cynthia.

"Then, we just need to hold them back and back, right?" said Stella forward and raised her big hammer high.

"Giant Hammer: Full Swing, Stampede!!"

Ground cracks were created and rocks began to rise from the ground which slowly moved closer to the Monster Horde there. Killing many Goblins because they were in the front row, while the rest only had injuries.

Noticing the attack being launched towards them, the horde sped up a pace by running. But of course, Luke won't let that happen. Because right now, he had been prepared to unleash countless huge water spears.

"Multi Cast: Water Magic, Aqua Lance! The barrage!!"

The Water Spears shot out and rained down on the horde of Monsters. Drown them in a waterhole created by Stella's Stampede and Luke's Aqua Lance. But what Luke was after was not that, but something strong and sturdy.

"Ice Magic, Frost Wall!!"

The water rose and slowly began to freeze as Luke raised his heavy right hand. Creating a very long and high ice wall with several Monsters trapped inside.

The few survivors continued their steps. Ignoring his colleagues trapped on the other side or trapped inside the ice wall. Felix and Yuno immediately ran to finish off the Monsters who escaped mercilessly.

While Sarina who had earlier chanted the spell, was now ready to release the arrow with an orange red aura. His bow was brightly lit and when Sarina released her arrow, it shattered instantly.

Simultaneously, Sarina lost her strength and almost fell to the ground if Stella was not arrested.

"Geez, didn't I always tell you to hold back?" ledek Stella's.

"That's what you said after I helped?" reply Sarina.

The two smiled together, before Stella carried Sarina on her back. At the same time, the arrow released towards the sky by Sarina earlier had disappeared. Now seven meteors are descending and preparing to hit the ground where the hordes of Monsters are trapped behind the ice wall.

Yuno and Felix return safely thanks to Cynthia's supporting magic. Walking closer to Sarina, Yuno laughed in disbelief at what she saw just now.

"Is that what you did, Sarina?" yuno asked to make sure.

"That's it, but instead.. MP and Durability.my bow is the victim," Sarina was exhausted.

"Luke, how long will the ice wall last?" ask Yuno.

"Maybe one day? But I think that's enough to evacuate, right?" obviously Luke.

"You're right! Then, follow them!" reply Yuno.

After making sure that the Monsters were completely obstructed. They decided to return to the city of Efraim along with the villagers who were evacuated. Without realizing the gate inside the Golura Mountain cave was slowly opening.

Ecclesia Royal Castle, where the Royal Family lives. Right now in the royal hall was a tremendous commotion. The cause is none other than a news received by the King.

"Is that true? O Knights of the Church, Mr Ronald?" ask King.

"That's the truth! Even the visitors said the same thing, His Majesty King Edward Silvester Ecclesia!" answer Ronald.

"Is that so? 500 Years ago, that Gate of Hell also appeared and brought great calamity throughout the entire Humania Continent. We even made a truce with the Demon just to stop the catastrophe" King Edward explained.

"How did the Emperor respond to this?" ask King Edward.

"His Majesty the current Emperor has asked the other Kings to prepare a relief force. It's likely they'll be up to two more weeks" Ronald replied.

"That's too long. If you rely on the visitors alone, I'm not too sure" said King Edward.

"I'm sorry for my discomfort. But has not one of the four Guardian Gods risen? Has His Majesty still not found him?" ask Ronald politely.

"Unfortunately for now, we still haven't found him. Although we have gotten some conjectures about the man," King Edward explained.

"Uwaah! Just surprised!" as Felix said when he heard Yuno's sneezing.

"Ah, sorry-sorry, haha," Yuno laughed awkwardly.

"Did you get Cold?" ask Cynthia to make sure.

"Huh? I thought not? But there was someone who was swiping my nose, so I sneezed" Yuno explained.

"But this is so strange. There is usually information related to the event in the forum. But why is there nothing at all?" confused Luke who had been checking the forum.
